He's a player that shows that stats doesn't tell the whole story. He only avg. 23 ppg & 7 ast. But when the big games come, you can throw the stat sheet away . #MVP
Bk Takover He didn't need to play in a lot of 4th quarters during the regular season. That would explain the lowness of his stats. He also has a great team.
The advanced stats show Curry was the best player in the NBA last season. Led the league in WS/48, total win shares (regular and postseason), VORP (value over replacement player), and box +/-. If you're talking cumulative stats , he also led the NBA in steals, 3 pointers, FT% despite playing under 33 minutes per game. And he shattered multiple 3 point records, including beating Reggie Miller's postseason 3 pointers made record by a whopping 40. So the stats actually do illustrate quite well how dominant Curry is, to the more statistically savvy individual who looks at efficiency stats, and not just volume stats.
Except for the SPURS no teams plays basketball like the Warriors real basketball, No slam dunk, No superstar, just great Basketball as it should be played...with probably the greatest group of young men ever on one team....WE OF THE WARRIOR NATION ARE TRULY BLESSED TO HAVE SUCH YOUNG MEN ON OUR "TEAM".....
Curry is son of Akron, same as LBJ, after all the injuries he had passed through and now he has been considered as one of the greats, such an inspiring story
Steph had a bunch of haters coming into the L in 2009. Someone compared him to Juan Dixon. No disrespect to Dixon; I liked him at Maryland and he overcame a lot of adversity in his life to get to the NBA, but that was kind of harsh. Guys drafted before Steph: 1) Blake Griffin. He was by far the most sure thing in the draft, and he's a perennial All-Star, so cool. 2) Hasheem Thabeet. You can't teach size, but you also can't teach heart and toughness. 3) James Harden. Close 2nd to Steph for MVP, although with Houston, not OKC. 4) Tyreke Evans. Solid career so far, but not mind-blowing. 5) Ricky Rubio. 2 year delay. A lot of hype coming in. Having a nice career as a pure point guard, but not taking over the league. 6) Jonny Flynn. Unfortunately injuries have derailed his career. Could have been at the very least a decent backup point guard, IMHO Griffin and Harden are the only 2 I could justify taking over Steph, but otherwise Steph is the best player out of this draft.
love this video, Although I am not going to be a professional basketball players, the stories of Stephen Curry, Jeremy Lin, and many more are so inspirational and became one of my motivation to strike for what I wanna be! Thanks for this video! Have a good day
yo fam! please check this short inspirational video I'm submitting to a film festival, it needs views! lol thanks so much, more videos coming soon! czcams.com/video/5GAvfH3aWcM/video.html
Mick D Don't be misled into thinking i don't like him. I like cocky people when they good, but in general GSW are hated because of curry poor leadership off the court. Draymond acting like and ass, dissing hall of famers. Curry talkin about champaigne, Klay cant shut his mouth, etc...
Little did LeBron know that he was staring at the kid that will later beat him in the finals in his return.
+Jose Fierro Avila It's unbelievable. I'm certain that he would've never imagined that this college kid would guard him one day in the Finals.
+index its gods plan to him from nobody to all out mvp and the faith is his best weapon againts all odds
Jose Avila Fought again each other as a captain in All Star Game
I don't care what anybody says but this shit made me tear up
Julien Pineiro good boy,and nobody cares you too,you a piece of shit can not call him shit
I me too I couldn't help it
Julien Pineiro I think its suffice to say that a PLETHORA of people watching this video experienced having "allergies" during it's viewing LOL.
Yeah people we're cutting grass when I was watching it lol
Marion Parrish I was chopping onions around a pile of dust and cat dander lol.
wow a young kid who grow up to watching lebron james on the stands to beating lebron in the finals.
@1:30 LeBron didn't even know he was watching a kid who would later beat him in the finals Lml
"How do you slow him down?" "The same way you slow me down - you can't."

+Bk Takover bro, 24/4/8/2 with 59% effective field goal percentage is amazing stats
Mudd Norris ghhhg
I still watch this😕 this tears me up
the reason why people say curry is overrated is because he makes it look seriously so easy but when u try it u have trouble doing it
5:48....best part. I respect Lebron for saying that.
Ryan Moore Jr what did he say? i cant catch it :(
beerqazzz123 Reporter: "How do you slow him down?" - Lebron: "Same way you slow me down. You can't"
Would've been nicer if he didn't say "same way you slow me down"
Justin Sarker nah it was ill the way he said it.
MrThekidisback I hate LeBron but I meant it would've been nice if the reporter asked "how do you slow him down?" And LeBron said "you can't"
"The same way you slow me down..."
"How?"
"You can't!"
That's some real shit khawahi curry Lebron cannot be stopped!
I had chills from the dribble alone... my GOD..
Deserving for that MVP award

Stephen curry is verry verry good. I like stephen curry is her fan
Wouah !
A true underdog story!
When Lebron was watching Curry's game when Curry was in NCAA, did he ever image that Curry will take a championship away from his own hand ?
the best player
They say his handles aren't on par with ai and Kyrie meanwhile both of those players are finishers Stephs handles aren't flashy but effective
You desearve it Curry!
Tomorrow practice practice practice.... Thanks
