すごい! as a beginner, it's really cool to listen to your vlog, because it's really easy to understand! you speak slow enough and the words are clear, despite i don't understand most of the vocabulary ;-)i think i will grab some more of your japanese vlogs and throw it into a playlist for listening to it multiple times :-)

I used to live in Japan for two years, and Kamakura was one of my favorite places to visit. It brought me great joy to see it again in this video!
Hi Miku sensei, great video, very useful! The lady explaining the "bath mat protocol" was very hard to understand ☺️. When I once stayed at a ryokan I also found it very hard to understand the staff, because they used very formal language, of course. I hope you'll do a video about that one day : what to expect and how to understand what the hotel or ryokan staff say in such typical scenarios.
I've been here for 1 day while I was travelling to Japan in 2018, loved it :D

Thank you for your insights in this well edited vlog! I've been to Kamakura several times; once I went with my boyfriend on a cold February day; once I walked the surrounding mountain trails; another time I bought a bento and sat on the wall at the beach where you were and watched the surfers as I enjoyed the bento, beer, and sunset; once I went for New Year's eve; etc. Kamakura is also the setting of some of Yasujiro Ozu's films and some great Japanese actors from the classic film era lived there or still live there. It's possible to get a deeper feeling for the town by seeing the films and vice versa.
I wish I can speak Japanese only in 24hours(min)!😅

People are afraid to hear criticism from others in their address. It all comes from having a psychological complex - to make a mistake. But, after all, he who does nothing is not wrong! In Yuriy Ivantsiv's workshop "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language" states that we need to talk as much as possible: with yourself, with the mirror, with inanimate objects, with children and with pets. Find an interlocutor in real life or online. Talk without shyness. People won't care how you speak. They understand that you are a foreigner, as long as they understand you. They may even acknowledge your progress in their language and compliment you. However, always be prepared for criticism of your speaking skills. If you have the will to speak, you will gain an interesting interlocutor to consolidate your knowledge. Everyone is strewn with mistakes - don't be afraid to learn from them. As the Latin wisdom says, "walk and thou shalt not go astray". In the book "Polyglot Notes" by YuriyIvantsiv an entire chapter is devoted to the development of spoken language. 先生の日本語が優しくてきれいで聞きやすいです。でも、ホテルの人や店員さんの話しはちょっと聞き取りにくいです。
ちなみに、浄妙寺の茶屋で2種類のお菓子が選ばれますが、「生がし」と「ひがし」はなんですか。どう違いますか。
