      As a Chinese person, I can confirm. The flag actually uses the older more Archaic version of the character tho, the modern version looks less like a dude and more abstract (齊). When used as an ordinary word, it means "Together" or "Simultaneous"
      Edit: I realised that the simplified version keeps the resemblence a bit better (齐)

    There's an abusable trick where you can constantly release and play as Ming releasables until you cap out your Mil tech from that free tech mission (until you run out of Ming releasables). So you could have Mil tech 32 in like mid 1500s. Kinda tedious in single-player to actually pull off.

  • @declanpm8578

    "Ai-ron" is most common among non-native English speakers since it isn't as commonly used as the word irony is, so arguably since there are more non-native English speakers than native English speakers that would actually make it the most common way of saying it but that depends on said persons knowledge. So they end up saying it like irony without a y. UK English (depending on where you are from, as a Scot there is a hard R in there) it is said "ai-yern". US English is "ai-urn" which is closer to the older version of saying it. But what do I know, I'm only an ESL English teacher.

    • @craftinteemo7055

    • @soulreaper52298
      @soulreaper52298 Před 2 měsíci

      so non native english speakers do not out number native english speakers, iron is also a very commonly used word. so eye-urn would be the most common way of saying it. Not disagreeing with any of your factual statements I just think assuming non native but learning english speakers outnumber actual fluent native english speakers is a lil weird

    • @declanpm8578
      @declanpm8578 Před 2 měsíci

      @soulreaper52298 you'd be very wrong then. The rough number of native English speakers is around 670 million. The number of people who have it as a second language is roughly 1.5 billion. Trust me, native speakers are very much in the minority whether you believe it or not. So ai-ron is absolutely the most common way it's said by English speakers as a whole. If you discount people who have it as their second language, then it becomes ai-urn

    2:02 Red Hawk, don't listen to anyone that criticizes your english. Not only is it incredibly rude, it's also wrong. I find myself often times impressed by how well you speak english even though I've been watching your videos for years now. Also, for the record, you say "iron" exactly how an american would say it, and if I had to choose an english-speaking accent that's closest to your accent, it would be an American one. All that being said, your english is incredible, and keep saying things the way you do. You're not doing anything wrong.

    In Kingdom Come: Deliverance, one of the historical characters in the game is Sigismund of Luxembourg. He held many titles, but most importantly, he was the king of Hungary and Croatia. He seized the throne from his brother, who was the king of Bohemia, and later became the Holy Roman Emperor. Therefore, as Luxembourg, you should control all these titles (directly or through vassalage/PU's) and win a war against the Ottomans (as he lost a crusade against them).

  • @ALittleMessi
    @ALittleMessi Před 2 měsíci +67

    There's several different ways to pronounce iron. It's actually a well debated topic and basically the answer comes down to however your dialect pronounces it. The people getting mad are Americans (most likely) that think the way they say it is the only correct way.
    To add to this, i-ron is the least used way in English. Most American English says i-urn, and British English says i-en.

    Qīngzhōu (tsing-zhohw) is a city west of Wéifāng 潍坊, east of Zībó 淄博 (good BBQ), and south of Dōngyíng 东营.
    Láizhōu 莱州 is now a part of Yāntái 烟台, which is later eclipsed by Qīngdǎo 青岛 in terms of trade (partially because the Germans stole it from us).
    Jǐnán 济南 is the provincial capital, and southeast of it is Tài’ān 泰安, which is home to the most important mountain in Chinese culture: Mt. Tài 泰山.
    Yānzhōu 燕州 is a district in Jǐníng 济宁. Just east of Yānzhōu is Qūfǔ 曲阜, the district that houses the Temple of Confucius. The Kǒng 孔 family still lives there to this day.

    You're saying "iron" correctly! That's how most native English speakers would say it: like "eye urn". Accents differ as to whether they say or drop that 'r' in "urn" -- but either way, it's still "eye urn", not "eye run". I suppose there could be native English accents out there which do say it like "eye run"... but the fact that so many of us have never heard of them at the very least vindicates "eye urn" as a valid pronunciation.
    "But if it's pronounced like 'eye urn', then why isn't it spelled like 'iorn'? Shouldn't the 'r' and the 'o' be swapped?" Yeah, they should be. And they just told me, they'll agree to officially swap places -- just as soon as all the other 69,420 English words with non-phonetic spellings agree to do the same.

    You pronounced Iron fine. Eye-ron is the (incorrect) American-English pronounciation.

    When you say a goal is to make overlord not exist, or even other nations, you should own all of their 1444 cores. I watched the mazovia to Prussia run, and part of your goal was to make riga and livonian order not exist.. but yet, you only owned 3 of their cores.. muscovy made them not exist. You just took scraps.
    So either you should own all of their core, or if it's impossible to, at the very least own 60%

    The Luxembourg family used to be really powerful. So, as Luxembourg get your family on the thrones of Brandenburg, bohemia, and hungry, change culture to rhenish, become the emporer of the hre, and neutralize the Austrian threat to the emporership by annexing austria.
