- Dodge Charger Hellcat in Seattle with no cats, mufflers or resonators drives around at night keeping people "Sleepless in Seattle"!!! This Hellcat owner does cold starts at 2am along with driving on empty city streets making loud exhaust noise - disturbing people while they're sleeping. Is it fair for the people in the city to hear this at night? Either way everyone is getting fed up with the Belltown Hellcat & police are now getting on his case.

Yeah, it's annoying. I used to live in an apartment that had a guy who had a Mustang that was had some insane exhaust on it and he would start it up at 3am to go to work, that guy was a turd.
I get people wanting to mod their vehicles but being a dickhead to everyone around you is a not necessary, and just makes car people look bad.
I just tune it out at this point that shit is all day and night long in my area

I got pulled over in my Hemi Grand Cherokee for doing "an estimated 100 in a 40". Was asked several times how fast I thought I was going. I stuck with "40MPH", and didn't self incriminate myself. Turns out it was the Chief of Police, he didn't have an actual speed radar, and the entire thing was thrown out in court. Never answer that question. EVER!!!

@@RTLifewell best thing is record video while u get pullover u never know what gonna happen everytime I get pullover I always put my phone dashcam and record one time Mississippi Highway Patrol gave me ticket for speeding 78mph from speed limit 70 and that state trooper was speeding he passed me even I go 78 and He was screw he said I was speeding behind him 78 I told Court He was speeding too he passed me while I go 78 and they look his evidence and I have dashcam t4pro i show them how I drive and state passed me but I got out He was screwed

I love a loud exhaust but its a time and place for it. Not in the city at 2am. Considering how much he bought it for and the 83k in fines it’s safe to say they wanna strategically make him have to get rid of it. He warned several times so you can’t feel bad for the kid 💯

His hellcat doesnt sound that different from my R/T and it has shorty headers, flowmaster cats and still has mufflers, just not the suitcase, its fully carb legal (didnt even break the cats intentionally, they just started leaking one day so i said "may as well"). its a cammed built engine, but not staightpipe, I dunno man he might legit not have a straightpipe cuz those hellcats have a way more aggressive cam than most (and id bet he even went more aggresive), a nice flowy manifold, that sweet supercharger, all the good shit right from factory.

This is all ironic, I used to live in WA, near Seattle. Moved away cause the state is getting worse, for all the crap Seattle allows to go on (homeless individuals harassing people, using the street as their bathroom and place to sleep, drugs running rampant, increasing violence/murder) for the police to crack down on this guy for his loud car..but not the actual threats to the city is beyond asinine. I don't entirely defend the guy, but I would be raising a stir over the penalties pointing to what is allowed in the city.

When I was 21, friends and I bar-crawled Cap Hill and it was a good time...in 2017. Not now, Cap Hill is dangerous even after CHAZ fell apart, violent crime reached a 15yr high in 2022.
Sure, Seattle ain't as bad as say the Kensington area of Phili...but its a dangerous city nonetheless...that will focus on fining a guy with a loud car rather than combating violent crime, rampant open drug usage, and gang issues.. Seattle/West Coast logic if you ask me.

No he makes excessive noise on purpose. He can keep it the way it is just stop the speeding and excessive noise and torque to the wheels and downshifts late at night. A lot of ppl have straight piped mopars and loud cars and don’t have this issue.

As a current Mopar Hemi owner and life long muscle car man this character that shares the same hometown as me has left me feeling like this clown is an embarrassment to all of car culture. Local news reported that they viewed court documents stating the individual assaulted his mother, stalks and harasses his ex, and recently as of this week is about to be evicted from his apartment.
