1935年に今田壽治によって創業され、与志乃・奈加田と共に銀座御三家と称された高級寿司店。
軍艦巻を考案した店でも知られる。
北大路魯山人・志賀直哉・吉田茂もこの店を愛したことは知られ、近年ではバラク オバマ元大統領も訪れた。
穴子寿司は特に有名らしく、それだけを食べにくる人が居るくらいだそう。
動画内でもツメを付けたものと塩の2種類が出てくる。
鰻のような風味がありながらも、唸るほど食感が重くない！

そのようですね…お店からリーフレットいただきましたが、日本語版と英語版がありました。円安だから海外の方にとっては好都合ですね。円安、何とかならんもんですかね🤔
