Keon is an amazing friend. Literally drove across the country to help Wattson move so he could start streaming and paid his rent for a couple months for him to get on his feet. Keon is exactly what I want in a friend.

maybe because Wattson plays ranked while his team is scrimming. Its easy to wonder what the fuck is going on when one of the players on a team you like isn't playing with the team in scrims. Not to mention the mental health issues he talks about Wattson having doesn't seem to stop him from playing the game anyway. They're all just weak minded people tbh. IMO Madness and Keon need to kick Wattson for a more stable third before he starts costing them.

Preparing for the worse is something tragic. Someone taking care of their mental health is a blessing and there’s no worse case scenario when it comes to that. There is a reason we live in the most depressive state of humanity of all time, people don’t know how to take a break and get upset when others do because there entertainment is more valuable and are shocked when people go to extremes because there unhappy.
I don’t think a lot of people understood the point that he was trying to make, and that’s competing takes a completely different toll on people than playing casually. Wattson is still playing ‘casually’ in the sense that he’s not stressing himself out even more by putting himself in a competitive mindset. Yes, he is streaming somewhat the same amount, yes he is grinding ranked, yes he is still playing the game, but he’s not putting himself under wild amounts of stress to compete. Scrims, even though they’re not for money, they still matter because of the results. Results and the fear of playing either good or bad, put wild amounts of stress on people. Albeit they are not for money, any mistakes during practice is enough to push someone over the edge. We’re not with them in the calls, dms or reviews, so give them the decency of trusting that they’re going to make the right decisions for THEIR team.

This is true but only to an extent. Remember, by streaming, Keon wattson etc make themselves public figures who stream on a public platform that allows for open discussion. No they don’t have to respond to these questions and probably shouldn’t give them the time of day. However, the problem lies with the rest of the facts surrounding the circumstance. They haven’t been playing together for a while. Lan is coming up quick. People can still see wattson streaming and even playing apex just not scrimming. So they’re bound to ask questions. And after so long it can become frustrating to both the streamer and the viewers that the question keeps popping up. So in order to prevent further speculation and just nip it in the bud, it’s probably better just to address it the way Keon did. Respect to him for caring for a friend and preparing for the chance they have to make different arrangements.

As a person who contemplates.his life on the daily I can understand how shitty it is to continue to do things even while feeling down. Im sorry if he has personal issues but the optics looks bad when you the last time he left the comp roster he said he had "Family problems and personal issues" then played 12 hour streams on ranked for 8 days in a row before people started calling him out then he just left comp entirely.
