Making a walnut bowl for Christmas | Wood turning project

Merry Christmas everybody!!!
In this video I’m making a small bowl from walnut wood as a present for my mom. The bowl is turned on my Record Power DML305 Lathe.
Sorry for the bad lighting in some frames, I had to make this in-between projects and I wanted it to be a surprise so I mostly worked on it in the noon and the evenings.
The bowl is turned, sanded and finished with a oil and wax mixture.
Disclaimer: There are probably better ways to complete a project such as this and I am by no means a professional.
