- Today, we're taking a closer look at the upcoming LEGO Marvel Eternals set, In Arishem’s Shadow. This set will be releasing on October 1st and was sent to me early from LEGO / LAN for review.

I really hope Lego keeps this Celestial design handy, because it's just BEGGING to be reworked into a Sentinel whenever they start making X-Men sets again.

@@Batmobileize I need a Giant-Man version of that buildable Harry Potter. I know people have already done that and it looks amazing, but I’m too lazy to gather the pieces to make it.
This is my most wanted set for the entire Eternals line
People are definitely going to want to get all or at least some of the Eternals, so here's a guide.
-All four sets combined is 185 us dollars. Of course you get all the Eternals, plus 2 duplicates of Ikaris and one duplicate each of Sersi, Thena, and Makkari. You also get the Eternal's ship, Kro the Deviant leader, Arishem, and four deviants.
-What I'm going to do is buy the Eternals in Arishem's shadow and Deviant Ambush sets, which is 85 us dollars and comes with 7 out of the ten Eternals, with only Phastos, Druig, and Sprite missing. Arishem and two deviants are also included.
-A third option is to buy the Eternals in Arishem's Shadow and Rise of the Domo sets, which is 150 us dollars and includes 8 out of the ten Eternals, excluding Sprite and Gilgamesh. Kro the Deviant leader, Arishem, two deviants, plus the Eternal's ship and a duplicate of Ikaris and Sersi each are also included.
-Finally, you could buy the Aerial assault and Deviant Ambush sets for 35 us dollars and get 2 deviants and 5 out of the 10 Eternals, with Sersi, Druig, Phastos, Ajak, and Kingo missing.
-Remember, this is just a guide and you are free to spend your money however you choose 😊 Also please like because I typed all this on my phone lol 😂
I'm getting In Arishem's Shadow for the build, Deviant Ambush and Aerial Assault for the figures, skip the Domo.

why sauron never appeared as big in the movies at least why not a balrog

Definitely my favorite of the wave, based on the trailer look at least the face is accurate!

This set is an awesome start to the celestial, but I will definitely be upgrading him with Bionicle and Hero Factory parts.
Can you believe a few months ago we were looking at leaks for this type of stuff. Now we're literally getting to see what we were asking questions about. Time really does fly.
We are getting so much lego and marvel and mcu this year to make up for last year i love this
I just built this after putting it off for over a year and I’m frustrated how unstable the celestial is. It looks awesome but the best poses make it susceptible to a single breath to fall over

I have this set and me say it's a REALLY cool set my only issues are the hands and knees, now don't get me wrong, this set is amazing with how they did the face, feet, and glowing chest but like as u can most likely see in the video because of how the lower leg is built it hinders the bend of the knee and the hands I too bulky and the fingers are one piece as usual like seriously I don't understand why LEGO can't spare a few extra pieces to make the fingers bend one more time.
well anyways that's enough ranting from me it's a cool set with a really cool set box and I originally came to a video where they do a redesign but I guess I started searching too soon.

I think Ikaris' face is based on how the actor looked before the filming of the movie I don't think it looks like the concept art because it isnt based on the concept art

The stud shooter on the Celestial is a bit annoying but easily removed at least, can't care about the rest though. Just gonna get Arishem the Judge.
A UCS arishem would be cool
I predict that those clip pieces used for the fingers will break incredibly easily if you tried putting a bar piece in them 😂
Why is the waist so skinny compared to the chest? It looks like one of those models who get a bunch of their ribs removed and it just ends up looking weird.

The feet prints are not rare for Marvel because they are on about every iron man and there are a lot of LEGO Iron Man.

I still really disagree with the idea that all characters of Asian dissent need to have the same skin color. There are at least two different colors for characters of African dissent, and no one is arguing that Lando and Val from Solo should be the same color. Many Asians have skin as pale as white people. I do think a new face print would be good though
The face is more of the problem than anything. But when LEGO does the other skin color, accurate or not to that specific character. It creates more diversity.

My 2010/2011 Hagrids Hut light brick isn’t working- I was going to look into it, or ask someone at lego, but since I saw this, if you happen to notice my response, if you have a clue as to what batteries they take, that would be awesome. Otherwise, no worries- I’ll figure it out lol. 🤪

Not all Asian characters need medium flesh tones, just depends on their skin colour. Some asians are much closer to Caucasian skin tones while some are darker. Lego shouldn't choose the colours based on the ethnicity, but just the individuals skin colour.
Sure. But the idea right now with chosing that color is actual diversity. Using Monica's face from Friends does the opposite
I would substitute the feet with some bionicle / constraction figures feet , i understand that the celestials are on space and kind of float , also that feet are not shown perse, so with that in consideration its ok
Honestly, spoilers for Eternals...
after watching the movie, this isn’t even close to how big Arishem really is. Yes, I know, lego would never be able to make a lego set that big unless they made one like $5000. All I’m doing is simply making a note

I'm wanting diversity. I'm not wrong here, many others want this. White, black and brown people are all different shades as well. But LEGO has a very limited pallet. That's the problem. And they finally began to diversify with Jurassic World and Harry Potter. Heck even in the Eternals sets the Gilgamesh. The fact that she's using the same face as Monica is unacceptable to me and just speaks to the larger issue that LEGO has of reusing faces.

I agree that they shouldn’t be using the same heads as white characters but that doesn’t mean they all need to be tan to show that they are Asian. Like simu liu, Gemma Chan, etc. they are not tan at all, they are more pale than a lot of Caucasian actors. So just suggesting that they need a consistent skin tone comes off as racist considering that’s not what they look like.

@@Ashnflash 1080 is fine but it’s more of the lighting that’s the issue. I can only imagine holding the Celestial in the sunlight in order to show its bright red color but whatever you’re using makes your figures look dull and the average viewer will not see it with having that “new” presence …
The set is too barebone.
