The Forest Floors/Beds aren't being raked well enough on a regular basis.
With the Multi-Billions of Federal Emergency American Disaster Relief Tax Dollars being Applied For and Received Each and Every Year, these Yearly Fires are beyond any Common Sense.
With The Oroville Reservoir Dam Area close by, some of the Water could be shared with this area, as I'm sure the water is being diverted to other areas or even sold.

Here is a thought: The difference between California land management and Ranchers and Farmers land management is that California lets the brush become overgrown, California tries to stop fires when they occur - vs. Ranchers and Farmers land management that uses fire as a preventative tool to keep the forests healthy. Forest fires are a natural part of that ecosystem for many tens of thousands of years. The Ranchers and Farmers learned this understanding from the Native Americans because it is a deep part of their culture. California will continue to burn every year until we abandoned all the ill conceived environmental policies that have been put in place since the early 1960's. You can't fix STUPID!

California has lots of forests. There's always been forest fires. Possibly, increases in global temperatures play a part, maybe not. What is certain is that the property damage from California's wildfires increases because people are moving out of the coastal areas and valleys and building large subdivisions and retail in forest areas that used to only have a few mountain cabins.

I'm not surprised that fires are showing up. This entire week has been sweltering in Northern Cal. It was 107 on Monday, 109 Tuesday, and 110 yesterday. The next full week shows temps over 100. On average it's 104 for the full next week. It get's hot here in the summer but you don't usually see so many hot days in a row. I give my hearts out the the firefighters on the front lines. If I'm sweating just walking outside, I can't imagine what they're going through.
