In videos it looks like so much damage but you have to understand that he is already max stacks. You must scale baruuk. Just spam ground slam and build combo with your desert wind. It takes some time for him to get going but when you do you will see red crits I promise. GL
It's ridiculous how many times i've seen people thinking elude is actually a bad skill and then they complain Baruuk is hard to use at lower density. Well guess what, i use nourish instead of the sleeping skill bs thing and keep elude because you will not have problems recharging your meter with it and you can actually build for duration which is extremely good for nourish and elude costing you next to nothing. Btw elude will recharge your meter extremely fast in low content too because guess what density dosen't matter as much, you just need some fools shooting your way for like 2 seconds...done.

Although it may not be bad there are other skills that surpass it on utility alone nourish roar pull are all stronger skills then elude and with daggers giving you 90% dr and DW giving another 40% inside DW, you should not die and have enough time to lull your restraint gone
Well with Elude you have to be basically standing still, or not attacking, so there are more points when youd be wasting time trying to get shot, when nautilus can bring in all the enemies, you put them ti sleep and your daggers break their guns and thats almost half your restraint
Now with the Elusive Retribution augment you can actually use Elude now just need high max energy or good efficiency because Elude isn't a duration ability it drains energy therefore it needs efficiency And subsuming his lull isn't a bad idea for Elude along with Nourish to boost energy multiplayer you can stay in Elude prolly the whole duration of your mission as long as enemies are hitting you

People don’t know this but Blood Rush and weeping Wounds do work with baruuk desert wind but to do that you need all 3 glad mods blood rush and weeping wounds on STAT STICK DO NOT USE STAT STICK just use guns and Lull until you have enough restraint gone mind you Baruuk hates duration so low duration on lull makes it so you can spam, with about 120% efficiency lull should only cost 40 energy, reason why Blood Rush and Weeping Wounds does work is because desert wind is still a “melee” so they both fall in the same category only thing different between melee weapons and pseudo melee weapons is they just have different combo counters but because they are both melee that’s why you get the buffs from weeping wounds and blood rush test them DO NOT USE STAT STICK and just get some restraint gone then pop desert wind all you gotta do is get to 2-3x and you will see 1 stack of the 3 mods

doing this build, my main issue is that i never seem to have enough energy to spam Lull for the Restrain meter. I would use Nourish to get energy, but the enemies dont drop enough energy to spam Lull. So i'm put in a situation where I'd have no energy to recast nourish, nourish ran out of duration, full restrain meter so i cant use my exalted to kill. How do you dodge this problem? Is it really heavily reliant on high density enemies? if so, does that mean Baruuk is pretty much useless is low density missions?
Had the same issue and there are a few things to solve it depending on your playstyle. Pick one of these options. 1. Use both primary and secondary dexterity and at least 1 more combo duration mod (swift momentum, difting contact, body count). This lets you equip zenurik focus school. Nourish is an energy multiplier so it turns zenurik's 5 energy per second times whatever your nourish multiplier is. 2. Pick a mod from your baruuk build and replace it with Energy nexus. Same thing here, nourish will multiply Energy Nexus's 3 energy per second. 3. Use an impact heavy primary like phantasma and equip primary exhilarate arcane. Nourish will again multiply Exhilarate's energy regen. 4. Use equilibrium and make sure your companion has synth deconstruct equipped. 5. Last resort is to use arcane energize lol.
Desert wind fist's are what builds combo, not the waves. I think the range on his fists are 1.2m so you have to be really close and melee enemies to build combo. That's why he showed us a pull build to group them up and melee them. Also, check to make sure you have combo duration on your fists. Having negative combo duration prevents combo build up. I haven't seen many players do this but if you don't want to use any grouping abilities you could use a range mod on your Desert wind to bump it up to I think 4m and just slide attack everyone.
Yes but you can also build combo with slams and the spin attack that’s why Pull is good for baruuk also desert wind has a 5 sec base combo duration if you have a. Rank 5 primary dexterity and a rank 5 secondary dexterity both together gives 15 secs to desert wind you will then have enough time to build combo and not lose your combo multi don’t forget Naramon Power Strike
Nourish , Desolate hands then spam lull as much and to effect as meny enemies then just lower the meter and keep maintaining it at 0 as much as you can with lull :)
Baruuk is anoying to play, stepping in a nullifier for examble completely fucks up the combocount because you build some with the melee, also building in the first place takes too long, yes even with naramon slam and nautilus imho. Why doesnt de allow for the wind wave to build count and fixes this issue. When i compare that to my Khora that doesnt need a gazillion forma to function, she ensnares a bunch, smash with magistar and off we go with even more bonkers red crits (got 4 purple shards in her hehe)
My Khora, doesn't weld her Magistar ever, it's her stat stick. Plus since it's an Incarnon, the build on it. And everything else I put into said Build. Enemies feel her whip over all else. as well as use her other abilities. But mostly her whip. Along with Shards. I never have problems with my Baruuk, If you blaming the Nullifier, that is crazy. The Enemies are not suppose to make it easy for you. LOL
i love using baruuk with her cobra crane, slap the ads to sleep then use lull to sleep them even more while annoying team mates in the progress, in tandem increasing my own restraint decrease, golden annoyance setup oh yeah subsume gloom to 1. they slow down i speed up, perfect ratio

hmm well i haven't tested it with precision intensify but you can try power strenght helps but your desert wind build is most important :)

I don’t use baruuk so I’m not positive, but Valkyr and Titania’s exalted melee both don’t from my testing so I doubt they do for baruuk
Yes they do although baruuk is so strong that you it’s not really necessary but you could use melee retaliation or the one that gives you armor

I don't know if they nerfed this or what, but when I slam a stack of 10+ enemies balled together I get almost no combo count.
