    Recipe:
    42% Olive Oil
    25% Coconut Oil
    10% Hemp Seed Oil
    10% Cocoa Butter
    8% Shea Butter
    5% Castor Oil
    5% superfat
    2:1 water:lye
    I use Soap Calc to determine the amounts of oils/butter, lye and water to include in the recipe, based on the above percentages

    Thanks for posting. I want to check out the blog post for info on your choices. Hemp oil certainly changes tge base color doesn't it

    Very pretty! When you are mixing the micas, what oil are you using and does it play into your soap oil calculations?

      Thanks! To mix my colours, I will either use some of the melted oils/butters from my batch or extra olive oil. I don’t make any adjustments to the calculations - it’s not much extra so it is just added to the super fat of the batch
