- The New Indian Scout is pretty much unchanged from previous years but with all of the Scout lineup including the Rogue, Bobber and regular Scout, it has some pretty amazing features that make it one of the best bikes Indian makes. Let me tell you what you need to know about the Indian Scout
Got my wife the Harley 883 sportster and I got the 1200. I traded them for the Indians and never looked back best decision of my life
I purchased my 2022 Indian scout bobber in Aug 2022. It's my very first motorcycle after taking a beginner course. I have no regrets at all, loving the bike. I'm glad that I went with this bike rather than a smaller cc motorcycle.
It is the best Indian. It's why I purchased one from American Biker.
My brother bought one of these a few days ago after riding my octane. He usually rides a Harley but he loves this new bike. On a side note: I’ve been riding for over 35 years, never dropped or laid down a bike even after losing tires and in snow.
I'll vouch for getting a 60 as your first bike. Got mine in June of 2022 and it's been great and was very approachable. Friction zone is very forgiving. Rode it to work (14 miles) the day after I got it. Put 7,000 miles on it last summer and love it more the more ride!
All it needs is a fuel gauge. And maybe a bigger gas tank
Fresh off the MSF last October and I got a 22 Scout Rogue ABS as my first bike in November. Got it used with 300mi on it for $15k and some change. I'm 900mi in(not including the original 300mi) I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BIKE! My only negatives about the bike is the stock suspension especially if your a bigger rider like myself(6ft 300lbs) and the Hallogen headlight. Luckily I'll be upgrading to the fox shocks and pathfinder headlight sooner than later.
I put bog bore kit, performance cams, performance air intake ,pistons, and bunch of other things and my SCOUT IS NOW 170HP,145,150 TORQUE AND DOWN TO 45PLBS. ITS A MONSTER NOW.
I have a 2019 Scout 60. I mostly do day rides of about 5 hours though I've done some longer trips, including a 10 day ride with one 11 hour day. My mods include a new seat (Mustang solo), the Indian hard-bags (lowish storage space but look beautiful, I supplement for overnight trips with a bag behind me tied down with a bungee net), highway bars, windscreen, upgraded headlight, and handgrip warmers for cooler weather. The Indian Scout lineup is amazing.
Got a Scout Rogue last year, first bike. Full engine size - for those wondering if they should do the same, imo, YES just get the full ride. It's not been at all too much to handle, not even close to dropping it at any time, and I think I would have regretted the same bike with a smaller engine. Great videos man.
I can only say Amen. After a long time of debating which bike I wanna start on I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a 2025 Scout Bobber. I was debating between the 101 and the bobber for a while. I was literately losing sleep over which bike to buy but I finally just went with my gut - the bobber is the one that is the most aesthetically pleasing to me. I love the stripped down look and the smokey black color. Can't wait to cruise this bike around my hometown.
Got my Scout Rogue sixty as my first bike and I love it.
I got a 2022 ISB. I put the Eagle LED headlight, S&S Stealth II intake, Fuelmoto tune (via PV3 tuner) and have the Freedom Performance Combat 2 to 1 exhaust on order. Got it in Sept, bike has over 1,000 miles on it. It's my first bike and I absolutely love it. Can't wait for the snow to go away.
Your video provides a good summary of all the features that make the Indian Scout a suitable beginner bike but also make it suited for more experienced riders. Excellent work!
Great presentation bro! I agree with many points here. My local shop has that EXACT bike in Blue!
Thanks for the summary. Also, this video deserves a like solely from your shirt alone
Love my 19 Scout Bobber! Coming from a Suzuki Boulevard C50T, it's night and day!
I have the 15 scout thunder black. Best bike I have had so far. I have owned hd road king, Honda goldwing, Honda 700 ctx, custom hd sportster and by far the best one is the scout. And you're exactly right. About 100 miles that seat has to go but almost no aftermarket available as of yet
Bro, excellent detail. Thanks!
I love my 2018 Scout. Yeah, the stock seats are terrible. Still shopping for seats, breaking in a C.C. Rider at the moment. Got the bike tuned and found another 20 HP in there. Amazing bike. Also I put mid controls and it's fantastic, well, short of the scraping on tight turns with a bump.
