  • With our initial driving review of the RS3 8Y complete, it was time to see if MSS could once again work their magic and give us the ride height we wanted without sacrificing all the hard work the Audi RS engineers put in making the car fun to drive!
There's only one way to find out, and that's by fitting the kit to the car and getting behind the wheel to give it a good test!

Great unfiltered review. I especially like the not so complementary commentary as this speaks to the truth about the RS3’s character. Well done. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely love the silver trim and silver wheels. In a world where everyone blacks out their car without even thinking about it because it's supposed to look "mean" and "race" this is so refreshing and classy. Also very rare it seems.

Great stance and an interesting choice of wheels that actually work and look totally different from the black wheels that most people choose. I must say though that the silver trims no longer suit the car so black those out & it will look 100%. Keep up the great builds & content guys \"/

I think the stance looks pretty good! The wheels however, not exactly to my taste, but that's just my opinion. Admittedly though, I have yet to see a set of aftermarket wheels on this generation of RS3 that I think look good. To me, the stock wheels suit the car best at least for now. I know you meant the latter... that you were not happy with the ride height... but I'm wondering what you meant to say you were impressed with besides the handling in the opening line. I'm not trying to be a jerk pointing out an error... just genuinely curious what you intended to say at the start. Thanks! ☺️

It's a very rough road. Watch the videos of the GP3 over this same stretch 😬 But as I said its more aesthetic than function. For both you'd need a very decent set of coilovers

So some controversy with the MSS, that you can only adjust those springs unless the are completely off the damper or shock? Is this correct look at the “Humble Mechanic” vid called “adjustable/non adjustable lowering springs. PS plastic spray those stocks wheels matte black, not sure about those new ones…I’d love just an old set of BBS LMs or some new HREs with a carbon barrel super light weight…

Looks good, only problem is the amount of nasty speed bumps in my area that would make this setup redundant. 😥😥 The new alloys look well but TBF I like the standard wheels anyway. PS i have always detested Black alloys. Why would anyone pay more money for a design you can't see unless up close.. Beggars belief imo.
