These are my favourite type of your videos Del. How to on a budget. Keep up the good work. Hope your doing ok.
Thanks Alan. Glad you like them, they're my favourite too and the whole reason we made videos in the first place 10 years ago..!
Of course, eating £49 worth of cake is also a viable if somewhat 'stuffy' solution . . cheaper too. Welcome back : ) xx
Delboy helped me get my Bonneville suspension dialed in about 10 years ago. Now I have a Street Glide and thought for sure the rear shocks were frozen, only to come across this video. Delboy does it again. Off to ebay. Thanks brother!
I literally just swapped my ultra limited rear shocks out for some old ikon shocks off an old sportster just prior to seeing your video.
They are a 12” shock, inch shorter than stock ultra shock, but the ride is just so much smoother. For the price of old shocks sitting in shed, well worth the spanner time. 👍
I bought my 2020 SGS in early July and with camping gear the stock shocks worked fine on the right setting. I noticed how harsh the ride was riding solo though and have been looking at upgrades. All are way out of my budget right now. Anyway fast forward to now (Sep) and having watched your vlog I thought I would try the ebay option. What a fantastic result. I got 13" ex Sportster shocks for £40 and installed them on the softest setting of 3 notches, the ride height was just as you described with 1" of sag. Im about 220lbs so they did bottom out on large ruts or speed bumps, but after changing to the middle of the 3 setting these shocks do the trick 100%. Youve probably saved me £1000 as I was going to pull the trigger on some Legend Revo's after saving up the dosh.....thank you so much for yet another top tip sir. Love the channel, been subscribed since I got my first bike, an Iron 883 back in 2016, thanks again
You're most welcome Tony, im so glad we were able to save you so much.. !
Just found some Sportster 5 position shocks on my EGC. Much cheaper alternative. Took it around the block and did some adjusting on the fly. Feels pretty good so far. Removed the air ride shocks. The right rear shock apparently wasn’t holding air. Ride was pretty bumpy. Thanks for showing us this.
That's great news, glad it's worked out for you, it always needs a little adjustment as it beds in, but it's way more reliable than the air ride...as you've found.
Hey Del just to update you on the Drag Specialties 11 1/2in rear shocks I swapped out for the OEM 12in original 2017 Street Glide shocks. Had the bulk of the riding season on them and I`m thrilled with the ride they give the bike. Thanks to your video I`m a happy camper. FYI Cheers!😁
That's great news you found a solution, appreciate you getting in touch to let me know, it's great info. to have! Enjoy your beautiful bike and ride safe! All the best, Del
Just put Sportster 13-inch shocks on my 14 Street Glide can't wait to go for a ride and see how this works out, but can tell just by sitting on it I think it will be fine! Thanks, it was your video that took me that direction! Ride safe my brother down under!
Did this to my 05 Electra glide. Rear tire pressure set at 40psi. The ride was way better. Ordered some more Sportster shocks for my 22 Street Glide. I refuse to pay $1 k for shocks. Thanks Del!
Good tip! I actually just upgraded my Dyna to Legend Revo A shocks, it's life changing! Now the seat doesn't slap my but going down the dirt roads. One problem I had is that Legend recommends a 13 inch shock instead of a 12 inch shock. When you sit on the bike it's the same height as the stock shocks, but when you get off it raises the bike up an extra inch. The problem was that the bike felt like it was going to fall over on the kickstand because of the steeper lean angle. So I bought a kickstand that was one inch longer, then the problem was that the kickstand in the up position rested against my plastic belt guard, not safe at all. So I had to buy a custom kickstand bumper. Didn't seem like that bumper was very secure on the bike so I glued it on with silicone sealant. Now my bike is perfect, didn't expect to have the kickstand problems though, something to keep in mind... Next on my list is replacing the rear engine mount, hopefully that new kickstand bumper doesn't get in the way LOL!
I need a 10.5 inch shock because of my short legs, 26 inch inseam "/
Great solution! Anyone can do this affordable and easy fix. Thanks for sharing and explaining as you do!
Thanks for watching George.
Wow thanks!!! 2yrs later and we still got great info. Because u made a Good Dam point.. thanks again 💪🏿🏁
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent vid, I'm a Triumph guy but it's nice to see these kinds of informative tips and tricks for any bike.
Welcome back 😁👍
Thanks buddy, it's great to be back.
What an awesome solution. At 165 pounds, the Progressive shocks on my '19 Street Glide are way too stiff. This looks like a great solution
I installed Super Shox. Awesome Shox. Great ride. And you can adjust them by hand!
Great budget idea put to use. I have a 2016 Street Glide Special road like the rear shocks were seized. Not wanting to dump a grand on a set of rear shocks I found a set of OEM new take offs from a 2000 883 with 13" shocks like new for $65. I weigh 230 and set the shocks on middle setting...HOLY ......!!!!! I am very pleased with it, Thank you for the tip
Most welcome, glad it worked for you Sir!
Thanks Del glad to see you again, I weigh 150 lbs and when I ride my 2022 flhxs it's as if I have no shocks at all. Great info, thanks again...
So glad you're back in the swing Brother , for yours and Pps sake.
That bike is so you , well done you deserve it !
Live for today. In life there are no re runs ..
Peace love and hugs to you both 👍🏻☮❤😉
No Re runs indeed Brother, every new day is a gift and every mile in the sunshine is an adventure... Once you realise how soon it can be over and with no notice, you stop fretting over the little things because we're here for a good time, not a long time..! Peace and Love from us both brother.. D&Pxx
Yep did this on my 2020 road glide put it on middle setting now rides as it should not like a hardtail it really works 👍👍👍
Nice 👍
That’s a beautiful bike!! I do need make changes on my Honda shadows!! I hate the original ones on them. Thanks del!! You’re looking good!!
Thanks buddy, good to hear from you.
Whoooow did this swap last week on my 2001 RG and now im watching this video ,yes they are way better than the ones it came out with :) Thanks always for your very informative videos
Most welcome. Glad I could help !
Nice to see a street glide in the garage. Going to do this mod for sure. Thanks
Thanks Andy, more to come in the future hopefully..!
Hope you're feeling better. Happy to see you post a new video.
Yes i am Joe.. ! Thank you!
Nice, simple, froogle.
Just gotta find the volume knob now so you know when the engine is running lol.
Good to see you back Del. Good health.
Ha ha yes indeed.. it's currently quieter than an electric church mouse..! that will be rectified soon..!
The legend is back!!!!!!! Hell yeah!!!!! Welcome back brother, looking good back in the garage!!!
Such a simple fix and only £50 for a pair of 2nd hand mint shocks…..what’s not to love aye !!!!!
Much love to Penny xxxxx
Hey brother, how wonderful to hear from you, thanks so much for your message... it is great to be back in our environment and hearing from the friends we love... it's been a difficult 6 weeks! Hugs to you and the family from us both, xxxx
Great to see you back Del hope you are feeling better have to say you are looking well my friend. Love this type of video a cheap fix for what could be a very expensive fix as you alluded to at the start of the video.
Thanks Freddie, it's great to be back and doing what we love. This is a simple little fix, and even if you only see it as temporary it'll give you some suspension travel back while you save up for a posh option..
Coincident;y, this is exactly what I'm doing on my "new" 2007 Electra Glide Standard I just bought few hours ago. I discarded the air shocks and I'm replacing them with Sportster shocks that I already have at hand. I concur with this gentlemen statement, the vendors are selling us over sprung shock thinking that it'll be installed on a train !!!!.
I have a question I have a 07 Street glide fly and I have the same problem with the suspension tell me please how works for you and exactly with shock you buy thanks a lot
I'm two weeks into my 2013 Street Glide and have been wondering why the rear suspension is so hard. I guess now I know. Thanks.
Welcome back, Del. I really enjoy your clever down-to-earth solutions to a problem. Well done. Günter from Nürnberg/Germany
Thank you for your kind words Günter! Cheers!
Great information to have in the arsenal!
It's very nice to have you back, doing what you do best!!
Thank you so much Harold.. Much appreciated kind Sir.
Good morning Del, great to see you smiling good Sir. Great idea, did this on my old Sporty with Dyna shocks. Now my 2002 Night Train has Progressive 422’s in the rear which are adjustable and replaced the front with Monotubes. While the Monotubes are a thousand times better they’re just a c hair on the stiff side so if I’m in a bumpy corner I get a bit of deflection but still better than stock with heavy oil. I’ve thought about Ohlïns or Legends but have read that they’re a bit too stiff as well and really aren’t worth the extra 3g’s for street riding. We’ll see, gonna replace my built 95ci with a 117 or 124 and go from there this winter.
Now that business is out of the way let me tell you how wonderful it is to see you working again. We take take advantage of our short time here and it’s moments like this when you realize the massive void in our world when you’re not here, honestly, no bs. Time and time again you give and give, don’t complain and expect nothing in return. This world needs more people like you in it Del but then again, you’re not so easily replaced as you cast quite a big shadow. I’m extremely grateful to have people in my life like you and Penny, as for when I watch CZcams, I’m always looking forward to Delboy’s. No matter what happens from here on out you’ve carved your place in history as one of the most creative, kindest and caring innovators of this century. Many will try but there will never be another Delboy’s as you’re a pillar in the motorcycle community. Thanks for just being you. 🍻
Wow thank you so much for those astonishing words Sully, you are too kind my friend, we're just doing what we love and sharing it with the wonderful platform we have... we've learned just as much from You Tube and passed it forward as we have contributed ourselves, so it's a wonderful community which we can all enjoy... take care of yourself and thank you again for those wonderful words, D&Px
Whaow Dell, it's SO cool to see you again sharing and explaining as you are!
Thank you kindly Cedric, it's great to be back.
I don't even afford a harley but I still love watching your videos anyway, keep it up !!!
Thank you so much for your kind words Linh, I appreciate that!
Welcome back. On my 2020 streetglide special it was a horrible ride until I installed legends suspension. Love them. Thanks dell and p.
I'm hearing good things about Legends, it's great to know they address the problem!
Nice to see you doing what you love to do again 💪 the shocks look good it's kinda a shame to put the boxes in front of it. But they where meant to be there so i understand✌️
Yes mate, i agree, the boxes for a part of the overall architecture of the bike, but you are right, in the "Raza Style" the boxes are left off and long chrome fishtail pipes fitted real low.. plus maybe some air ride to slam the back..lol.. Maybe not for England in the rain aye..lol! Thanks for your kind words buddy, it's great to be back.. D&Pxx
Awesome video i will try it on my 2016 street glide special with air suspension greentings from italy 😊
Thrilled to see an H-D bagger on your channel. Think I have added 50,000 miles to my Road King since we lasted chatted.
Wow Tom, that is some impressive mileage and nicely run-in now! I hope to do some serious mileage on mine and a few mods too, once I get back to normal, it seems at the moment every time I go out for a day ride it's a minimum 100miles!
Great to see you smiling, back in the workshop, Del. And as always much love to you and PP🥰 (but you knew that, right?)
Thanks mate, it's great to be back and im really enjoying be back in the garage..!
Hi Kevin I hope this message finds you well, Update on shock installation. I actually couldn`t find a decent pair of OEM 13in. Sportster shocks locally. So I purchased 13in. Drag Specialties Sportster version. After the install they had fairly decent sag but raised my 2017 Street Glide 1in. higher. Not what I was looking for so I purchased the Drag Specialties 11 1/2in same series shock for Sportsters Low. Installed them this afternoon and test drove the bike this evening. I worried they might bottom out but not even once and I made the loop around some rough roads. I would say the ride is 80% better and the 11 1/2in lowered the bike to 8 3/4in measurement from the concrete to the lowest point on the rear fender when the bike is on the kickstand. So I`m very happy now with a better ride and more feet on the ground. If I had not viewed your video who knows what expense I would have been into so thanks for that. I hope we can chat again at some point. Cheers gunner
Hi buddy, ... the name's Del, not Kevin btw! ...Am really glad this worked for you, it's a great cheap fix for a ridiculous problem that the factory should hold their hands up to... the OEM shocks simply don't work at all unless the rider's 400lbs, or carrying concrete slabs in the bags!... hardly conducive to good handling on a bike they market as a 'good handling bike'... anyway, I love your straightforward initiative when you couldn't find some old ones, you have the benefit of brand new shocks with no wear and as you said, a bike that now works for you far better! Thanks for your feedback buddy.
@@Moonfleet41 Hi Del sorry about the Kevin just thought that was your name saw it on another post? Duh! Thx for your speedy reply. Have a great weekend!
@@guentherpenner5544 You too sir, it's a pleasure to help.!
Del great job brother.. But you knew that, right? hahaha That is a very good solution to what could be an expensive problem. Thanks for sharing it..
Thanks buddy, 👍 simple and effective, and best of all, affordable.!
Very nice! I need to do something with my '08 XL1200L this winter.
Great to see you back Del, and looking AMAZINGLY well !! So happy to see you in such great shape already!!
Thanks Martin, good to hear from you buddy, and yeah, it's good to be back in the garage, doing what i love best..
Love this I have an Ultra limited I was going to swap out the shocks for Street glide NOT any more straight to Ebay and got an immaculate set of sportser shocks for 100€ result
Chers Del keep up the good work 👏
Most welcome buddy, enjoy the improved ride!
Great to see an affordable solution.. 👍
Thanks Adrian, we all love an affordable solution aye..! more beer vouchers left over for partying.!
Brilliant. Worth a try bc I doubt the ride quality can get worse.
Welcome back Del. You are looking well so the rest worked. Take care and enjoy life. Regards to you both.
Thank you Richard, I hope so, I certainly feel better and more able to work through each day without a rest every hour! Good to be back in the garage...D&Px
Hi mate just bought the new 117 street glide love it , shocks gotta go or be sorted , once again your a life saver im 180 too so jars my neck and having dashed out loads I need to sort it , thanks again . Andy
Good call Andy, giving the bike some rear suspension that actually moves will transform it.. Have fun and glad the video helped you mate.
Glad to see you back Delboy, but please go easy. You still have some healing to go yet. But another great video!
Thank you so much for those kind words both of you. i have indeed got a fair way to go, i get really tired really quickly, so no stamina right now, but it's getting a bit better every day.. Take care both and keep safe. D&Pxx
@@Moonfleet41 I know what you mean. I often drop off late afternoon for no apparent reason, but was told to expect that. Of course it could be the meds too. Don't underestimate what you have been through. I reckon you will be back to normal or better than, after 6 months but not before. So make allowances, you have all the time in the world. All the best to you and Penny.
Awesome sir never thought of it.
Good to see you back at it del hope you doing well and the lovely penny too
Thanks Spencer, yes mate, getting better every day and taking things easy.. im off the Dayjob until further notice, so just this to take care of.. and Penny says thank you too.
That's awesome, my 2021 ultra is shocking, no pun intended lol.
I'm going to try Drag specialtie shocks, heard good and bad about them, but at least the price is right.
Take a look at Progressive Suspension their prices are fair usually and they offer a quality product.
Brilliant!!! And indeed welcome back. You were missed.
If I’m not mistaken those come with 12 inch shocks which will give a stiffer ride. My 2014 Ultra Limited had 13 inch stock air shocks which sucked. I switched to the 13 inch Harley Davidson premium hand adjustable shocks and couldn’t be happier.
Great video. Good to see you back. GOD Bless.
Thank you for your kind words my friend. you too!
This is a great fix indeed! I have a 2012 Street Glide with the air shocks but the same horrible ride, I wonder if this will work on my bike?
Same weight bike, and the Sportster shocks are plentiful.. why not give it a try, worked well for me mate!
Love to see back MR DEL ...take it easy...
Thank you so much my friend, it;s great to be back.
Nice to c u back in your shop. It‘s great to have you back again.
Thanks Toby, it's good to be back.
Brilliant.
Delboy is BACK!
Bless you my friend, it's great to be back.
Welcome back Delboy and Penny
Thanks James.
I don't have a Street Glide but good information to know 👍Hoping You Del & Penny Are Well 🤗 Have Friday and Have A Wonderful Weekend too. 😀
Thanks, you too Paul, really looking forward to the weekend it's hot dry and sunny, so just need to avoid the beaches and keep away from the coast..! Have a great weekend too buddy.. D&Pxx
Great job Del 👏👌🏻👍
Thanks Chris. Glad you enjoyed it.
Good to see you back mate nice money saving tip
Thanks Brian.👍
Great to see you back, doing what you do so well.
Thank you kindly Mark, it's great to be back.
Great to see you have a Harley, just bought my 1st one (2020 softail slim) so look forward to watching any tips you might have on working on harleys
It’s been two years, how have the shocks held up?
Also just curious if this will affect the ability to mount an OEM sissy bar as the front locators on the quick release systems locates around the top of the strut?? Not a criticism I am genuinely interested.
A great idea. Like you, I only weigh about 150 lbs, and my 23 Street Glide rides like a lumber wagon! Unfortunately, the Sportster has been made for 50 plus years in dozens of variations with different ride heights and rear shocks. There are a Zillion "Harley" Sportster shocks on Ebay. Long, short, and everything in between. Some OEM, most are not (Chinese knock-offs) Without a part number, I wouldn't know where to begin to get the correct shocks. This isn't any help.
OK, i get what you're saying, but it's actually not critical down top a part number.. almost every sportster had the same shocks other then different heights.. these were from a 2008 Sportster 883R, and any shock that is 330mm from eye to eye will do the job.
Hope everything is returning to normal for you guys. I love the parts interchangeably style
Stuff.
Hey buddy, yes, getting better every day,, hope you're having a good week.. D&Pxx
Sweet fix for that rough ride! Great to see you back in the swing, Del!!
Hey Allen, great to hear from you, hope life is good there, and you're getting out on the bike for lots of rides... enjoy your weekend and take care of everyone, D&Px
I have a 2007 street glide and I weigh about 145-150 and I’ve got the factory air shocks and there’s times I’ll hit a big bump in the road and it’ll bounce me off the seat… can you do a follow video on the ride quality of these sportster shocks on your street glide? Or at least a Q&A please.
Just did that on my SGS 2014, suspension is great now , can’t feel anything on the road, so smooth! Thanks for the video brother
No problem 👍, glad it worked for you too ! Ride safe and enjoy.
He’s baaaaaaaaaack!!! So great to see you, Del. Great vid and modification. Love the bike, too! Don’t do too much. Ease back in on your own schedule. Hugs to Penny…. 🏍👍🏍
Thanks Gary, great to be back indeed, and doing what we love most... we hope you're both well, have a great week, D&Px
@@Moonfleet41 yessiree… 😎
Good afternoon Del installed 13 inch shocks from a 2000 Dyna - getting a better ride but the shocks make a little "Biff" sound when going over a bump. So I loaded them to the second lightest setting but still getting a Biff sound. I don`t know if they are tired shocks or bottoming out. Not much of current years Sportster shocks around here only old shit - but I`ll keep looking. Cheers Mate! gunner
Take a close look at the springs and see if they're curved and touching the damper tube.. that may be the source of the noise.! Otherwise maybe look for some older or better quality ones and that should improve it!
Roger that Del thanks always for your speedy replies - Have a great weekend! @@Moonfleet41
This will make the rear end softer but Sportster shocks are not designed for the weight of a touring bike. The reboumd won't work correctly and you could end up with a bouncy rear end. Ordering aftermarket shocks that are setup for your weight on your specific bike is the best way to go.
'''Ordering aftermarket shocks that are setup for your weight on your specific bike''", of course that's the way to go, but David that will cost you a fortune, and this is a suggestion you may use if you're not able to afford that, moreover mate, I said exactly what you did in the video, that they are set up for a lighter bike and as a lighter rider, that's what I need and whatever you may theorise, they actually work in practice, I've done 200 miles on them now in town and countryside and they're 10 times better than standard... so they work!
Hi Del well it's great to see you back doing what you do best ,take care keep up the good work but dont over do thing slowly does
It ,regards to Penny as well
Thanks Dave.👍 Sound advice indeed..
Spring has sprung, the grass is ris', time to take the Harley for a whizz. Crackin' vid as ever buddy :-)
You got that right buddy ! Just texteded you..!
Great to see you back and looking well
Thank you kindly Tim.
Great tip - Thank you!
Good job you said it was the upholstery squeaking - I thought it was your knees!
Probably a bit of that as well mate!
Welcome back mate! So good to see you again. Stay safe and great vid 👍
Thanks Ty, will do!
Hi Del and Penny, good to see you twiddling the spanners again. I guess that the big shock, little shock arrangement is not too different from the modern big piston fork setup on front ends where one side does the spring rate and the other does the damping.
Hey buddy, thanks for your kind words, it's great to be back... and yeah indeed, many designs are non-symmetrical!
Well maybe it was just bad luck but I put sportster shocks on my streetglide and they failed the same day ( blew out). I weigh 200lbs and had no tour pack nor was there anything in the bags. Just beware they may not work, maybe I weigh to much but the stock shocks don’t even sag a bit when I sit on it nor do they move when I hit bumps it’s like riding a log down the road
For shocks to blow seals, but not bottom the springs indicates that it was nothing to do with weight, but faulty shocks.. perhaps the shocks you fitted were not the right ones, (Need to be 330mm from an 883R or similar) or perhaps were just past their best?.. ive now fitted three sets to SGS's, and all of them working happily and giving great ride feel..!
I'm going to have to try this with my glide
danm brother , glad to see you guys back !!!! we definitely miss you !!! nice video as always, it seems like the riding experience has completely changed to a more comfortable ride !!! great looking bike brother !! stay safe cheers from new york !!!!!
Hey brother, wonderful to hear from you, we hope you're both well, and yes it's good to be back making videos again, doing what we love most... have a great weekend when it arrives and keep safe, D&Px
Welcome back D !!! Good to see ya ! 👍🏻🤠🇺🇸
Thanks Robert, it's good to be back.
I’m going to do it💪🏻
Let us know how you get on buddy.. !
For all those who tried it, did you face any bottoming issues? I've read they do bottom out on potholes and bumps .. your experience please 🙏🏼
Great alternative to the overpriced aftermarket shocks. Appreciate the info
No problem 👍
Nice tip Del...I can ask my Street Glide pals if they feel the rear is over sprung, and if so I can get the job to cure the issue without having them go for their lungs on premium after market units.👍
Sure thing Steven, it's all about the weight of the rider, I've a buddy twice my weight and said his Street Glide rides like a Lincoln town car, but then he's pushing down on it twice as hard as I am, in some ways it's kinda my own fault and any ride in my position, we're effectively 'too light' for a bike like this, like driving around with an empty pick up truck, they're never gonna be comfortable, so I'm 180lbs, if your buddy is my weight or less, see what he thinks!
That's the plan. It seems like Harley sets up the touring models for us big fat Americans. My 2011 street had "air adjustable" rear suspension, and I tiped the scales at about 220 back then so the rear felt fine. All except the notorious wobbly rubber mount swing arm/trans configuration. BTW good to see your getting on the mend!
@@stevenferraro3957 Yeah i never understood that idea of bolting the swing arm to a rubber mounted trans... on the M8 tourers they're now firmly bolted to the frame and rock rigid, no more weaving in long bends..
Guess who's back, back again, del boys back tell a friend 😂😂😂 welcome back del boy 🤟
Cheers buddy... The Real Slim Shady.!
Thanx...
Welcome
Next video, how to stop street glide upholstery squeaking haha. Welcome back!
Yeah, i had a closer look, and discovered it was actually mu knees...!
Hi Del I`m finding out the 2020 Iron shock is 11 1/2 in. will this shock give me the softer ride AND lower the bike roughly 1 inch? Thx
It will lower the bike a little, no softer a ride than the 13", but certainly a lot softer than the factory items !
@@Moonfleet41 Thank you for that info Kevin. I appreciate your knowledge. Cheers
I’m having a similar issue with my z1000, going over a large bump lifts you off the seat and on the way down it slaps you on the back side, my solution is to eat more pies 😂😂😂
That's not a solution i would argue with.. rather partial to a Ginsters meself..!
Del I have a 2012 street glide would you recommend that on mine
Well it works on mine Mark.. does yours ride almost rigid?, do you find it bangs hard over pot holes?, do you want more rear shock movement?.. if so mate, then for what a pair of ex-Sporty shocks cost, bolt them on and see..! Mine rides ten times better now and for £50.!
Hey DEL, can you post a picture of the shocks you bought so I can get the right one, thank you and I'm a new subscriber YOUR AWESOME!
Hi Del its great seeing you back looking good mate Harley is too much bike for me as in the cost etc but I liked the video good camera work penny
Hey buddy, good to hear form you, and it's great to be back. i guess this suspension solution could work for any bike that's heavy and oversprung, most large capacity bike have a smaller sibling in the range where that suspension may provide a solution. Take care buddy and have a good week.
“If you’ve got a 250lb rider and a 250lb pillion” That’s the USA folks !
Good idea. However, what happens when you do actually load the bike down with luggage and a passenger?
If your bike bottoms out at that point, then that's a sure sign you need to keep the standard factory shocks... if you're going this route, it's because you load your bike light, if you load your bike heavy, you need to go the factory route, but if you do both, then you need air ride!
That’s for the video. Great information channel. My question is I found a set of sportster XL1200 883 size 11.75 shocks .Will these fit my 2023 street glide special. Thanks again
They need to be 330mm, so they sag to 300mm off the jack then you have identical ride height. as i said in the video mate !
