What amazes me about Adeline even more than her amazing writing ability, intelligence, and her unique maturity as a child, is her amazing ability to forgive and to love. This is what makes her beautiful... and not need therapy.

Adeline's book, Chinese Cinderella, has always been a source of comfort during the times I am incredibly low. Since the age of ten, I've always opened up different parts of it, reading it just so I feel like I'm not alone.
I've read the book perhaps thirty times over now, and know the entire story by heart.
Adeline, if you are reading this, your story has always given me strength to hold on even when everything feels horribly dark. You have been my light for nearly eleven years, and nothing I can do could ever show my gratitude to the words you have written. I love you and your story from the deepest chambers of my heart.

I read this Chinese Cinderella book, and I completely loved it. Adeline is such an inspiration. Niang is such a witch! And Aunt Baba and Ye Ye really helped her. I cant believe that all this is real ..

I just finished the second time reading this book it's inspiration! This time I understand her feeling and the way she tried to find her own way! I even cried when Niang was so cruel to her. But her effort was finally working and first 14 years she's unwanted daughter but I believe the rest of her life is better! She's more independent and strong. I love this book and no doubt that I will read it again

  • @insertcacklingnoises5977

This woman is incredible - her books inspired me so so much and taught me the incredible, tragic beauty of endurance and resilience, which helped me more than words can express to get through my own difficult times in childhood. I will forever be grateful to her and admire her 💖

Bendiciones.

As you can tell i. myself, enjoy complaining (its true) but i dont like reading it. i am flawed, like each and every human, woe is me
i felt no sympathy for anyone except maybe Bob. That is just my opinion. i wish Adeline all the BEST!
