- Lillian had to remove and apply a Dexcom G6 CGM (continuous glucose monitor) 40 times in 2023.
Normally, it expires and we do it every 10 days. Sometimes, there's an error or it gets pulled off early, which is why we've done more than 36 Dexcom changes this year.
Reflecting on this year, even though Lillian is cursed with type one diabetes, she got to experience many positive things as a result of this incurable disease:
Paid trip to NYC (promoting getting T1D screened 1 of the 3 days)
Lillian earned more income than me at 18 years old
Which translates to Robux (not more than 10% of her income)
Partnership w/ Expression Med resulting in all her stickers being provided
Helped design a sticker with Expression Med (Boba Buddies)
Got to reach over 1 Billion people/views with pur diabetes content- and help Diabuddies along the way
Lillian and I are both thankful to all of you for simply watching and engaging with our content. It helps support and motivate us to continue showing others how we live with Type One Diabetes.
This compilation is 35 of those 40 changes

What a GREAT dad
I love you guys. She always looks miserable (I mean as a glorified forever teenager I’d be miserable and pissed) but she always seems relieved and genuinely happy when you guys pick something cute and she gets a kiss. #daddysgirl ♥️🤗
TBH: I’m miserable dealing with diabetes and I got to come to terms with the fact that my pancreas is ultimately going to kill me one day and I gotta live with that fact for another 60-70 years until I die
@nmoney6655 I've got chronic pancreatitis, can relate lol
This is so wholesome! 😊
She's such a champ ❤your a awesome dad 😊
Was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2020, and as of April 20th this year I had a severe case of necrotizing pancreatitis where my pancreas’s ability to produce insulin has been reduced to almost zero. As a result, they are considering me functionally as a type 1. Right now I’m trying to choose between getting the Omnipod or the Tslim. I’ve really enjoyed watching your shorts and experiences the positive attitude makes me feel better about my condition and I feel like a diabadass now
My last to G7’s failed. They wouldn’t “pair”. Good video, thanks for posting
Dad is just to excited
Love the stikkers ❤ I have a freestyle libere 2 .
The g7 is one little piece! She’s gonna love it
❤
I'm sucking at being a parent to a diabetic 😔. 3 years in and I swear I know less everyday
WE GOT A BLEEDER!
I too have a stocker problem
Do it hurt when doing this
Get the Omnipod
I have T1D
Hi
I wish I could dare to film my 10-yrs kid😅, he just hates the fact that I change his dexcome 😅 not him
Who thinks lily is a the bravest diet girl 👇
This is a question for your daughter if you are reading this does it hurt or does it not when you swap out your dexcom
An acquaintance with diabetes told me this "it hurts a little but almost dying hurts more"
Lily you should have given your dad the choice of fast or slow 😂.
How old is your daughter
Does she go to school
Do you have diabetes due to a poor diet?
Type 1 Diabetes can be genetic as well as other factors. it is not all linked to diet. Do your research. I did mine. I am not diabetic but most people with Type 1 have a family history. It's also not well studied especially in minors.
I’m a type 1 diabetic and it causes when the pancreas doesn’t produce insulin and it’s not reversible and you can’t get it from eating sugar.
Type 1 Diabetes is NOT caused by diet. Ever. At all. It’s an autoimmune condition that can affect anyone. You can inherit a genetic predisposition for it. It is not caused by anything you do or don’t do, and you CANNOT prevent it.
