- Camping a NASCAR Race Weekend: Have you ever camped at a NASCAR race? We were lucky enough to partner with NASCAR to camp at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. NASCAR camping is so worth it! We had the best time hanging out with the other RVers. This was our first time camping at a NASCAR race but it will not be our last!

NASCAR+RV’s=‘Merica! We go every year.
You have to check out NHRA drag racing where every ticket is a pit pass. It’s something you have to experience to believe. Two 11,000 HP cars going from zero to 330 MPH in under 4 seconds. In between rounds you can walk the pits and get just feet away from the crew totally tearing down the engine and rebuilding it in under an hour. Check one out and it won’t be the last one you go to!
Agreed, I have worked on fighter jets and other very loud things my whole life. I thought a fighter, in full afterburner, taking off down a runway that is only a couple hundred feet away was loud. I don’t think anything on this planet compares to a top fuel drag race. Touring the pit area and all is certainly a treat. Just be wary when you see the crew put on their gas masks. It’s about to get loud and your eyes will water uncontrollably…lol.
I'm season ticket holder for Phoenix track for 20+ years. I camp out every November for a week. I have been to several tracks. Glad you had fun!

I LOVE NASCAR been going to races for over 20 years, so long that a few tracks have closed. On my bucket list is to attend a races at every track and when my someday arrives stop renting RV and make the true jump to being an owner..... Infield here I come
I'm glad you had the opportunity. I have enjoyed racing for most of my life and we really want to pick up an RV so we can experience both together. We keep going to shows and dropping by dealers but haven't made the plug. Your channel makes it more enticing! I am not a vet but just retired from 38 yrs of being a civilian Naval engineer. Go Navy!

This was so good! I’ve never been interested in Nascar, but watching the RV community having so much fun and you. are really showing so much of the festivities? We’ll be starting our RV journey in a few weeks and I think this might have to be on our agenda for the future!😊
Nascar is so much fun! We became hooked after our time there! Everyone is so nice and it’s such a party atmosphere. Glad you enjoyed it! Oh and it seems if you pick Kyle Larson, you’ll have a good chance at winning next time. Lol
Looks like a lot of fun. I just love the A-10. The Air Force has been trying to kill it forever but they can't because it's just too darned good.

Grew up camping in the infield with our Winnebago at Nascar races. Loved it as a child
Talk about "Feeling it" back in the day I got to watch, and meet Big Daddy, The Snake and Cha Cha drag race!

Been a huge Nascar fan for many years. Whenever the race is in town, (or even in Indy) I take the family out for all the pre-race activities. Lots to do for the kids and grandkids. Someday we will bring the motorhome and stay in the infield for the whole weekend. Glad you guys were able to experience this wonderful sport. Thanks for sharing.
Only NASCAR exposure was a track day ride in a vintage cup car and watching the vintage demo race at the San Jose Grand Prix. Lots of fun. Used to tent camp on Saturday night at the Monterey Historics where all manner of vintage cars are raced in August each year. The paddock is a wonderful site to see and it is great fun to see the track go to bed and wake up the next morning. Have fun at the Balloon Fiesta. It's a must do and a fantastic experience.
Daytona 500 Saturday night wheel barrow races. It beats watching the cars race any day of the week!!!
I lived in Talladega and graduated from high school there. I always got free passes to the races! On time I went with the local newspaper photographer and I got to go into the garages and down in the pit areas with him.That's when I meet Richard Petty. Yes I'm that old! LOL

We enjoyed this! We live right down the road from Talladega Race Track and the big race is tomorrow. We've been to the infield, the stands and will be watch it on TV this year. Haven't RV there yet but we do enjoy going down and walking through the vendors.

I had a BMW 340i MSport in Germany doing 160 mph down the autobahn. It was epic. The best part was I could do it day after day without any penalty. Will definitely put NASCAR on our bucket list.

We have a small youtube channel and recently did a video on a guy who goes to these all the time and we toured his camper van. I had no idea people did this, but I think we should put a race on our bucket list! Thanks for sharing.
No other sport treats their fans as good as NASCAR, they say only 15% of there fans actually goes to a race, they don’t know what there missing,,, You guys have doing an outstanding job, keep up the good work,
Was a pleasure "bumping" into you at Vegas. Like several have mentioned, the best NASCAR fans are the ones in the campgrounds! Whether in the infield or the outfield, you will see every type of RV/Tent/Camper and meet the best people. The only thing missing in the video was your 'Rookie Stripe.' ;-) Come to Phoenix in November for the NASCAR Finals!
Race camping is the only camping I have done for 15 years now its the best

If you want to get close to the action then you need to go to an NHRA event and really feel the thunder

If you 2 have never been to an NHRA top fuel drag race you owe it yourself to go.. They do over 300 miles an hour , and when they take off it shakes the whole grandstand you can feel it in your stomach.
They are awesome. Went to quite a few in New Jersey in the 80’s.
Hate that we missed you at Fiesta. We just made a quick trip up because our son (a veteran) was coming to crew with several balloons from Wisconsin.

My dad took me to races every Sunday that the track was in driving distance of our home in southern Virginia that was 50 years ago when ever body stood up I could not see. I always dreamed of someday having one of those RV's we would walk past that were cooking steaks on the grill while we walked our tired sunburnt bodies back to the car. Great to see the RV community get behind NASCAR and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Xfinity drivers are certainly REAL NASCAR drivers, they just don't get paid as much as the Cup guys. Kudo's to Peyton for choosing Justin Algaier. I was, and still am, a crew member in the ARCA series when he won his ARCA championship, there was no one more deserving. Justin is a really, really good guy and he and his dad almost always come over to the ARCA pits when we are racing at the same tracks. Glad you guys had a good time.
Going to a Nascar race was one of the few things on my bucket list for our 2018 trip. I Absolutely loved it. We only have dirt track Speedway in Australia which is also exciting as!! Can't wait to get back to the US in February. Enjoy guys.

Watched more than one race from the infield of Riverside International Raceway (a road course) in the 1970s. Camped in a tent on the infield. It was very cool. Sadly, Riverside was torn down to make way for a shopping mall.
Everyone should go to a NASCAR event at least once. Working for Goodyear I was able to go to Daytona a lot. Glad you enjoyed 🇺🇲🇺🇲👍👍

Yes Nascar is a lot of fun. My wife Cathy and I go to the Daytona Speedway in February for speed week for the last 15 years. I also did the Petty experience and drove the race car twice. Went 157 mph. It was awesome. Glad you had an amazing time at the track. There is nothing like being there.

I’ve been watching and go to NASCAR races since 1979. I’ve had the pleasure of talking with Justin Allgaier. He is a class act and my favorite Xfinity driver. I also pull for all 4 of JR Motorsports drivers. Kyle Larson (5 car) and Chase Elliott (9 car) drivers and all of Hendricks Motorsports drivers. Great video and you’re right there is nothing in world better than being at a NASCAR Event.
I've seen the Indianapolis 500 from the infield 4 times back in the 90's. I hope that I can get infield tickets for a NASCAR event someday, preferably Daytona or Talladega. Looks like ya'll had a blast. Have fun and stay safe.

Love it, I was living in Las Vegas when they built that track... it's awesome, but can be extremely hot during summer races. BTW, who are these four people that keep "disliking" your videos, and why are they following you guy...lol?? Geez.
Who knows......we have a few that just do it because they can. It actually still helps us.....interaction, however they like it, is good for CZcams and the analytics.

If you ever get the chance go spend some time at an NHRA drag race. The nitro cars are awesome. 330 MPH is hard to imagine. Glad you got the NASCAR experience.

Have been a Nascar fan for decades, love it. I've gone to Daytona, Vegas ×2, and Hollywood for the championship in '15. Hollywood was my favorite as I went with family. But mainly because my dad built the track and it was the last time I was with my dad before he passed. I've done the ride along in Vegas for 3 laps, totally awesome @ 160mph. Did you go to the strip for the hauler parade?

Looks like you did enjoy it. If in NC try and stop by Charlotte motor speed way home of the World 600 race it’s only about 25 miles from my house. They start a week before the race with all kinds of activities all around the track and in Charlotte. One big party all week. A lot of race fanes in this area. . Wishing safe travels.

You two need to head to sanoma Ca in July for the NHRA Autolite nationals Drag Race. You will love it😎👍 but be prepared, even in the military, you've probably never heard something so loud in all your life.

We go camp infield at a variety of Races and are heading to Charlotte for the Roval next week. (We camp outside for Charlotte)
We have camped the outside campground at Charlotte also. Best track that we have been to.

Phil needs to do a drive experience at 150mph. Also, got to sit in pit stand in Charlotte during a race. Nothing like it.
World of Outlaw sprint cars racing is about as exciting as it gets 1200lb cars with 900hp. Dirt tracks are so exciting.
