But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth].
For if anyone only listens to the word [f]without obeying it, he is like a man who looks very carefully at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he immediately forgets [g]what he looked like.
But he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but [h]an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience].

Good evening Pastor..My name is Kenedy Ouma Oyugi...l listen this teaching ika ni attack me in my Relationship...I've trying my best to save this marriage..but the more l trying is the more things get worse.. my Wife is Drunk and me am not,,, l don't have Parents I'm orphan.. l have trying to get advise to my Spritual Fathers but the Word they always telling me...nimfukuze, now am 25 years old we have 3 childrens and l love my Children more please l could like to meet for more Advise
None is better but the one ordained by God will work ,being single,married or single married can be blessed. God predestined everything. Just pray and leave all to God cos u cannot die in an abusive union fearing to be single parent.BETTER SINGLE THAN SINGLE MARRIED
