I was waiting on this video that flip 5 is hardly dropping in price got my Flip 6 on order from Amazon waiting on it you seemed a bit disappointed I’m hoping the bass is a little deeper. I’m glad it is finally here and your videos are the best indeed. I’ve been playing the charge 4 and flip 4 and 5 they all sound amazing the Flip 6 has to be better. Thanks for another great video.
I got the flip 6 I drive a forklift at work and that size is perfect for me to have it on my lift the charge is actually to big for me anyways but love the flip 6 the colors and EQ.

Main differences are: Flip 6 is dust-proof/waterproof Flip 5 is waterproof only Flip 6 is Bluetooth 5.1 Flip 5 is Bluetooth 4.2 Flip 6 connects to Charge 5 and newer Flip 5 connects to Charge 4 and older

The JBL flip 6 on top volume is harsh loudness your loses the cleaness but the mid volume and lows are outstanding specially the bass I got 2x flip 6 in stereo 3D mode in 3D you sound mimicking the hallway!

That’s a bug that you have to connect to flip 6 first as they might have left the code for flip 5 as it is and have the code to handle flip 6 as that is new code.

No MIC is one of my preferred (non) features when it comes to Bluetooth speakers. I hope JBL continues to omit it. As for the need to upgrade, ehh I’m not convinced it’s worth it for me. Especially since the JBL 5 is on sale at Costco. I’ll probably add a 5 to my existing one and gift one for approximately the same cost as the 6. I appreciate the comparison to help me decide. Thanks.
I’ll be doing a sound comparison soon with the Bose Flex, Flip 6 and Sony XB23. But as of right now without hearing then all side by side, I still think the Bose is the one to beat. Sound wise at least.
Similar in sound yes, but the 6 has the updated features such as the latest Bluetooth version, upgraded IP rating and new tweeter. If you don’t care about the upgrades and can find the 5 for 40 bucks cheaper, then I’d go with that just based on the sound.
You have to do a video on the Tribit XSOUND MEGA the bass is unbelievable uses the mono oval driver like the JBL SPEAKERS the Flip 6 is great but the bass does not compare to this speaker.

I agree with this comment -- the flip 5 sound depends on the variety that you got out of the box. The one I had was super clear and the flip 6 sounded muffled to me personally on the store display. If you have a flip 5 that sounds bad you should RMA it that's what I did. I paid $50 for it from Verizon
FLIP 6. The minimum volume is still too high and if i go further down it just drops to zero. Feels like it goes from 10% of volume to 0% in just one click. How can i solve this and get more intermediate controls, like 5% or 2 % volume? Thank you
Finally got mine in the mail today its punchy but the flip 5 and 6 are very close in sound I’m testing it on all genres,Smooth Jazz is awesome on this speaker Disco sounds great too. It’s a nice speaker by JBL But the charge 4 and 5 have the deep bass. You can get the charge 4 cheaper that the flips.
@@djdirtydan3393 slightly louder but not by much both have 20 watt raceway drivers but the 6 has a bigger driver and a 10 watt tweeter in it it’s amazing and has an EQ on the app these race way drivers are showing up in a lot of new Bluetooth speakers
The FLIP 6 has indeed... Made it different music... The base and twiter isnt louder in high in 50 to 100%... Flip 5 still louder in 50 to 100%.. Might as well buy CHARGE... Not really much improvement.

I have the Extreme 3 which is really great, but for travel, Flip 6 all the way!

After I tried both! I would totally recommend the Charge5 over these 2, also I recommend the 100 which is beyond amazing and beautiful to look at.

Both are great speakers but I think they sound about the same. If you own the 5 not worth upgrading.
Main differences are:

Not necessarily they have the same solo speaker. Just the flip6 has extra tweeter for the high frequencies to get a cleaner sound.
