- Join us as we roll into a new concrete season with some trade show action. Without leads there is no work and trade shows can be a great source of leads. I originally had lost all of this footage but I finally found it so enjoy!
Ryan! I must thank you for helping me keep my head up over the past three years. Three years ago I suffered a back injury removing a driveway and it led to a rare condition that no one here in Canada knows about. After years of searching I finally found someone willing to help. I had a surgery in July of 2021 but that fusion failed and I am due for my revision surgery in two days. I have been denied EI, disability and WCB. The pain, depression and stress I’ve had over the past three years was extreme. I’m so glad I found your channel way back when you had only about 8000 subscribers. Your videos really have motivated me and sent some positivity my way. I would really like to thank you for that. Hopefully in the future I can get back to finishing concrete instead of just watching the work be done on CZcams. Sincerely, thank you!

There are people that just never learn , always late . My DAD taught me to always be on time even if it means to leave much earlier than normal . Some people being late everyday is a normal thing for them .

I love your videos man! they are always entertaining and I look forward to each one that comes out. I might recommend a list of items that you need each year for the home show and check it off when you load up the trailer to ensure that you don't forget any items. It still may not work but just an idea!

what’s weird is i live basically the same work life as ryan only as a foreman not an owner. been doing it for about 5 years now total from when i started as a yard helper.
it was brutal at first but when you earn respect and learn to love what you do it makes it so much better.
i watch all ryan’s videos now, last season i was introduced and i’ve watched them thats out.

I did shows for years. Buy the flooring that is put together like a puzzle. It is cushioned and you can stand all day with no leg pain. Also, I had a show booth inventory list with my gear. It makes everything so easy and stress free.
Eric might not be the best time keeper, but he's a good guy to have in the team. And have has a friend. God bless him and his family.

I find it very hard for Eric to start a company if every morning being late it’s a very bad habit!!
He wouldn’t last a week with a big contractor being late once is fine but once a week that don’t fly.

Eric, Eric,Eric…. Ryan is always there for you 100% of the time. Your gonna have to get your priorities right and make sure your there for the one guy that’s always there for you.. your young, you’ll learn that you can’t always party on the nights before you have to do something important for your boss..
he doesn’t party … he’s got responsibility’s such as his kids,side jobs.. we’re all trying to eat bub. yeah he needs WORK on being on time … BUT Ryan couldnt feed his family without his crew.

Before Eric joined . I know he is a fan favorite, but he can be very unreliable. He wants to have his own business, but does not show that ethic that Ryan has . Look at Mike with his own business, he has that work ethic. If Mike started a CZcams channel I would totally subscribe and watch him religiously

@@easyye.concrete don't take it to heart . Correct that weakness. One day I was late for an exam and my instructor told me to get my stuff together. Ever since I did and I now easily make over $120,000 a year Only working three days a week.

When I saw what was in the trailer at the beginning, I thought, wow, wing and a prayer here….However, after you did the set up, Yikes..BRILLIANT! However, I was expecting, like in the past year, that you would show your Mom, people shuffling about…etc. I am grateful and happy for another entertaining video but also wished for what was missing from the past. You might consider getting some “Victory” pens for your booth. We found that at trade shows, people loved pens and notepads.

I worked for a tree nursery many years ago, and we would set up a huge areas at Navy Pier in Chicago every year for the garden show.
It was two days of misery to put up.
Only youtube channel I've ever subscribed to. I poured mud for over 20 years and after my second back surgery I had to give it up. Im in pest control now and on my down time I'll watch your channel. You all seem like a good group of people and its good to see great concrete work being done. Stay blessed.

Ryan, to help you remember everything for future shows, you should type up a list on the computer and then laminate it and put it inside the trailer. Every year when you start packing up the trailer, you can just check it off with a dry erase marker to make sure you have everything👍

You really need to show your tradeshow trailer some love.
Ryan…you need a big pad of paper. Go old school…make check boxes of things you have to do each day and check it off. This way you won’t keep forgetting stuff. You got a lot going on so this method will help a lot.

Have you ever thought of getting a small cargo container and turning that into your trade show display? After you set up the inside, all you have to do is tow it to the sows and open the side door. When finished close the door and tow it home.

Wow Ryan, seeing Jr then vs him now, scary to think how long ago this wasn't. I'm not in any position to make comments about anyone's body, but as someone who is finally getting his weight (550lb) and health problems (sleep apnea, high blood pressure) under control, I hope he is doing okay.

Ryan the number 1 thing you need to mentor Eric on is on time. A man goes to work ON TIME . Yes there always is emergencies but a man when he grows up does not consistently arrive at work , meetings , anything late every time . He can be the hardest worker, the best worker, but the people and customers will always remember him for his immaturity by always being late. How can he want to run his own business when he cannot figure out time ! Maybe he should be riding in your passenger seat and through osmosis it will eventually rub off on him !

In my humble opinion it would be best to get a cheap set of drills and batteries and keep it in your trailer for next time future shows. Save you the headache of forgetting and saving time. And maybe a new tyres for the trailer.
