May 2020: This "review" may be persuasive, but for me, watching "how to actually use the CK-100" videos gave me more confidence that the CK-100 would work. I bought one for $122 on eBay last month. I was nervous because it wipes (deletes) all present transponder key codes. And once you start w/your original key, you want all keys to be transponder-programmed, sitting right next to you, so you can grab them one-by-one to follow the CK-100 prompts within the 5-10 second prompts. I followed the prompts, and ended up with three fully functional transponder keys. This on our 2007 Honda Accord.
Hi do you know if when you erase all keys, they are just deleted in the PCM or they are deleted in other parts too?. Im asking because I changed the pcm in my ford explorer, deleted all the keys, and tried to program my two original keys but it never wroked. So i just plugged the old pcm but now the engine doesnt run, I dont know how but is like the keys are not prommed in the original pcm, but that is not possible, any ideas? thanks
@@goromadness9755 11/16/22. Gee, I'm truly sorry, Goro, I cannot help, mostly because it's been 2 years, and I forgot how to use the device. The CK-100 is now stored on a shelf. I was furious with Honda for the spare key charges, and the CK-100 helped me. But that's all this addled brain remembers.
@@jrockafellow1971 OK thanks, I figured it out. The codes of the keys were stored in the cluster, not in the pcm of my truck. Thats why the older pcm didnt work either.

Mohammad khan I never had to update the tokens I'm not sure how to update them by the time I use all these tokens for this video today you'll probably be so outdated I'll buy a different type of unit comes with a thousand 26 tokens typically I do two to three cars a week as you can see probably won't go through all these for years and I have a couple of these units thanks for the comment Steve

It will program cars up to 2013 but it seem to work good it will program all key lost will not pull pin codes on Chrysler . To do newer cars you you will have to spend a little more money the x100 pad 2 is what i have on my van it has up dates weekly that are free and can do cars up to 2019 this is the best programmer for the money it will set you back $800.00 can find them on ebay

I do still use my x100 pad 2 is a great unit but lately I've been using top Don Ninja 1000 which I really like because it Powers off the car and I sometimes forget to recharge my x100 pad too the top Don Ninja 1000 seems to do everything that I need take a look at them UHS hardware sells them they go on sale for around $400

jonathan bonet the ck100 should do both those vehicles but it will not pull the pin code for the Chrysler you will have to get that from the dealer will ask you that when you go to program it it's A4 digit code but otherwise it should do both of those Vehicles mine does thanks Steve

A 2001 Chrysler you'll have to pull the pin code directly from the eeprom chip with eeprom programmer or get it from a Chrysler dealer off of VIN number or pay one of the key services like auto code app in order to get the PIN code after you obtain the PIN code the x-pro programmer will program at those are about $250

I think that would be the perfect unit for what your programming I program many Nissan's with that programmer and it will do 350z but if I'm not mistaken you'll need to pull the BCM code which this programmer will do under pin code service and then you'll have to download an app to your phone call BCM pin code calculator this will allow you to convert the BCM code to a pin code the programmer will ask for a pin code when you go to program it and you'll need to have that PIN code in order to program your car but otherwise I think this is the most bang for the buck programmer out there for cars pre 2010. thanks a lot Steve

30kendel 46.2 is the latest version version 99 is the older version this program will program that fob but it will not pull the PIN codes so you would have to get the PIN code from the dealer in order to program the fob the programmer I recommend to program Chrysler's would be the x-pro 100 that programmer will program the fob and pull the key code and hold the PIN code for the vehicle thanks Steve

Tokens are away of the computer programmers to defer the cost of the unit three will sell you a cheap units as long as you continue purchasing tokens a good us programmer fully loaded with all the software cops between 7 and 11 Grand the company that still sell you the programmer for $1,500 but you would have to buy tokens to keep it running the Chinese copy this format on their programmers and they load them up with a lot of tokens so virtually never run out but what is Chinese program is run out it's not able to be reloaded so it's a throwaway programmer like Advanced Diagnostics you can buy either way fully loaded with a software or token-based or you can buy both software and tokens depending on the vehicles you normally do

Unfortunately 2003 is a type II system which most programmers are unable to pull the pin code you will have to go to the dealer to get the PIN code or use a pin code service such as auto code app but this will require you to be a locksmith to register and they charge $35 for each PIN code

If i have 4 programmed keys stored in my car, can this device help me delete one programmed key to add another? The CK-100+ allows me to delete all programmed keys but i am affraid that once I do that, I will not be able to program any keys without going back to a dealer. I tried programming a new key but it does not allow me and I am sure it's because I have the 4 stored keys. Thanks
I've only had success with this type of program or doing Honda Civics programer that I would recommend to do that car which would do it was just sign it would allow you to remove all keys and then reprogram just the ones you have would be the X100 pad2 made by xtool thanks Steve
MRM it comes with a thousand 26 tokens each time you program a key it only uses one token after the tokens are gone you throw the programmer out and you buy another programmer the other part of the question was is there a better one than this answer is yes but you won't want to spend the money for it this is a Chinese programmer it does some cars good and some cars that does not do good I'm a professional locksmith that you several different programmers there are a couple programmers they make that do do everything but they're very high-priced they use expensive tokens so instead I choose to use basically four different Chinese programmers in order to accomplish the same thing hopefully this helps you thanks Steve
Do most Vehicles up 2013 not sure if it'll do your Pacific Hondo without trying it whenever I program my foreign vehicle I was try it with one programmer if it doesn't work then go to the other one but I don't always remember which one that worked with thanks a lot Steve

MBisFrenchy x100 pro has free updates online so it doesn't matter which model Levi you could update it for free but if you're buying the ck100 the latest model is 46.2 I recently seen X100 Pro xtool on Amazon for $200 I thought was a pretty good deal I paid more than that when I bought mine a while ago but I have updated it and it's super simple to update you just have to download an update program onto your computer and there's a MicroSD card in the unit you unplug and plug into your computer and update the card and then plug it back into the unit hopefully this helps you thanks Steve

MBisFrenchy last I was aware of the 46.2 is the newest version also the X 431 unit I have not heard of but I call this the wild west of key programmers there's a million programmers out there coming out of China is so hard to keep up with what's going on thanks a lot Steve

MBisFrenchy x100 pro has free updates online so it doesn't matter which model Levi you could update it for free but if you're buying the ck100 the latest model is 46.2 I recently seen X100 Pro xtool on Amazon for $200 I thought was a pretty good deal I paid more than that when I bought mine a while ago but I have updated it and it's super simple to update you just have to download an update program onto your computer and there's a MicroSD card in the unit you unplug and plug into your computer and update the card and then plug it back into the unit hopefully this helps you thanks Steve
