Advantage of coming off the bench is that you can read the game and then make an impact. Starting takes the ability to prepare away from you. He seems to be better at reading and impacting off the bench as opposed to reading and adjusting in-game

We saw Havertz getting in to really good positions and creating an unbelievable chances from midfield. I really think he will perform better from that position. We really need a world class number 9 and also a world class winger. Im having doubts with Martinelli I like Trossard better, he should start rather than our number 11

@LilTopDaGoat yeah, I think the idea is to have him as a rotation between a midfielder and false 9 depending on the team we're facing. However, without a world class 9 in the squad, I don't think he performs best in midfield.
Also, I think the issue with martinelli is that we lack an option to involve him on the left side the way that odegaard/saka/white all interlink on the right. And it's true that trossard is in better form than martinelli right now, but he's more impactful when he comes off the bench (imo) so I'd prefer to have him as a sub if possible.
@@LilTopDaGoat He can create chances but Emery saw how much space he left open and took advantage, which you could see, we need an anchor like Partey or Jorginho, he works well enough for a CF until we can buy a proper one in the summer
