By supporting my sponsors, you're supporting me!
Wow!! What a difference already! Can’t wait to see it all finished! Nice! 😎
If it's not cheaper than Carhartt which I know is good fit and quality I can't do it
@@dusbus2384 same price range, and Ariats work pants are way better in my opinion. Gotta give em a try👍🏽
I think that skirting actually looks really good! Nice Job, already a huge transformation!
Yessir! Thank you!
Love this transformation so far.💪 Excited to see part 2!
I’m excited for it to be done too 😂😂 haha thanks!
I love the fresh clean updated look so far!! I can’t wait to see it all come together!!
Thank you!!
Can’t wait to see the finished product!
Me either 😂
Another awesome build! Great job!
Thanks!!
Looking good! Will be watching out for the next installment.
Thanks man!
Looking good 👊🏻 can’t wait to see the finished product.
Me too lol 😂👊🏼
It looks absolutely amazing!!!
Thank you!!
It is enormous. It would take me the whole summer to reno it😂
That’s really nice.
Can’t wait to see the finished deck.
Me either! 😂
Looks good already!
Thank you! 🙌🏼
Great job so far!
Thanks!
You've done a great job btw
Shocking what tradespeople will cut corners on when they think they are hiding their shortcomings. Nice fix, very therapeutic watching someone skilled restore something 👍
Thanks John! 🙌🏼
What makes you think a tradesman built the previous deck? Did he mention it?
Hard work never killed anyone mate & this looks absolutely ace, well done 👍🍻
Absolutely, I appreciate it!
I like your building philosophy, over engineering everything ensuring strength and longevety! 😁
Might as well while I can! 👍🏽
Nice video! Mine is scheduled for next year
Nice! Wanted to do this years ago.. finally made time after prices increased a bit 🤣 haha
Looking fantastic, John! I think the skirting looks great. Although in my area, I'd consider adding some sort of screening behind to keep critters out - mice and snakes can easily fit through those gaps. You may not have to worry about that where you are though. Can't wait to see part 2!
Thank you! The gaps are smaller than the lattice atleast. I was surprised how clean it was under the deck with no remains of anything haha. We’re in the country but thankfully we don’t really have an issue with them getting in the house, which I’m most concerned with
In the long run it's cheaper to spend the $$$ on improved materials rather than making a run down to the lumber store. No more painting, staining, sealing and then eventually having to replace the whole thing. Also, you tend to not discover you need to replace the deck by putting your foot through it.
Absolutely!
Very enjoyable vid.
Thanks for watching!!
I really like the clean newer look. I have a micro-mini version of this coming up next year.
Not to make you nervous, but be careful around the bees. It is possible to develop an allergy over time, and the fact that you swelled up may be an indication of that. Not saying it’s definite, but might be worth consulting a medical professional instead of listening to some internet moron like me 😏😏.
As always, enjoyed the video!
I must have! They never used to faze me haha but this was brutal
Did you spray fpr the bees?? Hope you didnt get too sick.
Does work on old screws
What's the finished product look like bro nice work
Check out the second video! 👍🏽
What size PVC board are you using?
5.5”
@@JohnBuildsIt Thanks, I appreciate the videos. A lot of good ideas.
What amazes me is that lived through a dozen years a didn't make a thing to the deck. And for the next owner ready to redo everything at any cost! Can't understand this way of thinking!
Not sure what you’re saying, that doesn’t make sense.
Also if we're to fall, you're not getting impaled on a bed of rusty nails, lol!
Absolutely! Lol
hello, any interested in 4K POE secuity camera system sponsorship? i had emailed you the details, hope can hear from you and willing to dicuss the further details. Thanks.
If you tip your inspector properly, you get the service you pay for. 😉
Hahaha 👍🏽
🤣🤣🤣
Looks good .. when I build and sometimes rebuild decks I use a 1/4” composite spacer between rim joist to allow for water drainage and to prevent wood rot in the future… composite fascia would look good instead of paint but do what’s in your budget .. 🇺🇸👊🏼🪚🔨👊🏼✌🏼🇺🇸
Yea I do too 👍🏽
