You are confusing the Dominican Republic with the island of Dominica. Which is between Guadeloupe And Martinique.

Rich in resources and nature, but poor economically. If Dominica wasn't as poor, we wouldn't be using the E.C. currency which is still a British backed currency. We would have used our own currency since we are a Sovereign Republic

Plus hurricanes. In St. Thomas, where I live, we have US insurance, contractors and good grant management & organization that Dominica can never hope to have. It is just economics. AND … thankfully we were under the Danes and St. Thomas never an place where slavery was a profitable entity for most attempts. Too hilly and volcanic rocky. .

AI was used to create certain moments, but real historical images were used extensively in this video as well, including the images of Europeans landing. Where AI art is used, I always try my best to depict the scenes with historical accuracy.

Well it seems that what Dominica has been wiped out several times in history due to major hurricanes and other natural disasters. I think managing a country like that would be quite difficult.
