Undisputed. Richard was the man!
he is the God of rock.........
@@gynack Think it’s more about the fact that many of the legendary musical influencers of modern music like the Beatles etc were heavily, if not predominantly influenced by little Richard
@@dundalis
Wikipedia has a section on the Beatles' musical influences. They mention Little Richard, but make no suggestion of him being their predominant influence. Presley was apparently important, and there were others like Chuck Berry, the Eerly Brothers and Buddy Holly,
I am 46 years old while I am writing this.I never knew Tom Jones had chops like that!. My bad for dissing him all these years. He is a complete vocalist after listening to this. Tom Jones is a king of vocals!
I'm 62 and been listening to Tom Jones since I was a kid. He more than holds his own with all of the legends he paired with on his TV show. I consider him the greatest male popular singer. Deep down soulful but when he belts out a ballad, his power is operatic. Just amazing.
Vaya dueto, esos si son de los buenisimos
I love Little Richard, he's one of a kind, we need his "Shut Ups" now
Little Richard mad as a cut snake but phenomenally talented and Tom is also amazingly talented. Love this!
Good lord!!! This was an amazing set. Never see it before. Little Richard the CREATOR and ARCHITECT of Rock and Roll and Sir Tom Jones together. Simply gold.
I've never seen this either, beautiful. But there may be an argument over creater of r&r. Chuck Berry, a young man from Lubbock, Texas, etc. All wonderful artists, musicians, remembered, and seen anew by the young, forever. I'm so jealous!
My mum was obsessed with Tom Jones so this was on a lot x love them both amazing ❤
Man i love this colab but at the beginning i find it so funny the way the camera goes straight to their faces and tom and little Richard going right at it
They both have powerful soulful voices! Great duet medley
This (and the clip with Jerry Lee Lewis) is the best Tom Jones ever sounded. Real. Passionate. Convincing.
You also want to see TJ and Jerry Lee Lewis
Don't forget Tom and Stevie Wonder.
And with Engelbert humperdinck
slownoman Wilson Pickett and Tom Jones is another great you tube moment
Crosby, stills, nash and young too.
Oh and also janis Joplin.
Is unbelieveble that Sir Tom Jones still have this powerfull voice on these days. I love the rythim of Little Richard. A simple and amazing rock 'n roll. This is rock 'n roll, the true rock 'n roll. Would like to give a thousand likes for this.
They are really well suited!
Gee, I wasn't ready for the sheer amount of bad-assery this video laid on me! R.I.P. LIttle Richard. You WERE the KING.
A fantastic performance by 2 musical greats. RIP Little Richard.
How amazing! I actually got to play guitar for little Richard in the early to mid 80’s. My dear late music director friend Artie McLaughlin got me the gigs. Don’t you wish every day could be like this. Everyone coming together, despite politics, race and creed and just singing together. Look how happy Tom is!
Spot on!👍😀
Exactly!! Wish we all focused on our similarities rather than our differences.
YOU ARE RIGHT!!! GUITAR ROOM!! IF WE AS THE HUMAN RACE WITH ALL DIFFERANCES AND OPPINONS!!! JUST COME TOGETHER FOR THE BETTER OF OUR CHILDREN AND PLANET!!!!
Did you get to hear Little Richard singing without any mic or amplification? If yes, what was his power like up close?
Send Me Some Lovin’ is probably one of the most underrated recordings ever. Should have been a much bigger hit.
Yes it. They should they are great I would loved to sing like that that's what u call music I love a lot of music. Blues soul southern music bluegrass gospel
Wow, Tom Jones is a beast - in the best possible way 🔥🔥🔥🤩🤩🤩 Both are great 😍😍😍🚀
With all due respect to Elvis, LR is the true King of R&R. It took huge balls to be yourself as a flamboyant black man in the 50s and 60s in the segregated South. He was always true to himself, and that’s why he’ll always be “The Man”. Rest In Peace, King.
My mother told me many years ago that Little Richard was the architecture of rock and roll.
@@theronedawson3236 You have a wise mother.
Little Richard will always be the King of Rock & Roll! There would be no Elvis if it wasn’t a Little Richard to mimic! His final years were spent praising God, preaching the 3 Angel Message of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and urging everyone to follow Jesus! He is now asleep and awaiting for Jesus’s triumphant return! Praise the Lord for Little Richard!
Spin & Fly Guy amen
Spin & fly guy.......when Elvis was still alive,he even said little Richard was the KING. ELVIS NEVER LIKED BEING CALLED THE KING,
RIP Little Richard, been listening to you since I was a little kid.
Wow, just WOW!!
They sound the same! They're voices blended!
If you weren't watching them, you wouldn't know which 1 was singing!
I have just found this. I have never witnessed anything better than this.
i easily relate)
They should be the Super Bowl half time show, I’d finally watch it if they did it!!!!
Aside from Prince and Bruno, the last ones have been complete garbage.
Rip little Richard what a legend ! But just look at Tom go ! What a career he's had , sang with undoubtedly all the greats of his generation 😊 what a life experience ! Sir Tom Jones just awesome 👍😎
БЛАГОДАРИМ ЗА ТВОРЧЕСТВО..РОК Н РОЛЛ...

holy fuck, Litthe Litchard and Tom Jones? my mothers two favourite singers.... i miss her, and we miss Richard too. glad to see it. it brought me tears in my eyes...
I was never a big Tom Jones fan - he was too much of a Crooner for me. But in this video, Tom Jones keeps up with little Richard - not an easy thing to do - it shows that Tom Jones still had a heart of rock ‘n’ roll🎹🎹🎸🎸🥁🥁👍👍
I love your truth...all of its 👍..!. That damn little Richard...ya know what how about little Richard and EltonJohn!!.. mindblowing if ever those teo would tear a theater up!!..
Really? Wow
Linn Haramis
There's an equally great, if not even better, duet of Tom Jones and Jerry Lee Lewis rocking it out on YT. I'm sure you'd really rate it.

You could tell Tom Jones loved soul, r&b and rock music! But he could sing the phone book too!
