I too am doing $1.99 & $4.99 auctions, trying to get traffic and move out "not so great" inventory from when I started reselling. I think it works, I also lost a few dollars, but chalking it up as a learning experience. Trying to have quality over quantity in my stores. Thanks for vids!
Congratulations on your monstrous sales. On another note, I am a performing artist. I remember singing in the Bicentennial parade (1976) with my high school ensemble at Disney World. I actually sang a solo song called Summer Soldier. You will pour into students that will be with them for the rest of their lives. I dedicated my last show to my high school music teacher. Becky - my friend did the exact thing you advised she asked a consignment store that focused on bridal/formal dresses what they do with abandoned consignments that haven’t sold and she buys out formal wear pieces for about 10 bucks a piece to resell.

Bobbie Brooks brand was very popular in the 60's and 70's. They made very traditional, preppy items.

I've been selling 5 years full time and this has been the most erratic/slow summer I've seen yet. I've listed 35% more items vs last year but sales are down 10%. Hoping Q4 comes through but making some adjustments just in case. - WW

My biggest question for any reseller is how do you keep track of the exact numbers you bought something for, sold it for, and therefore earned from every item in your closet? I have such trouble keeping track, especially when buying from the bins or garage sales where there isn't a tag attached once I get it home. Any tips for keeping track of all the numbers? Hi Becky! Love your videos. Not sure if you are aware, but in PosherVA you can set it to where it won't send out OTL if it is going to cause you to make a profit of less than what you want after fees so no more $5 offers lol

So Bex, I totally know what a microbail is, I'm suuuuper familiar with microbails, we go WAAAAY back but I feel like there's a lotta ppl out there who have no clue what they are. hahahaha thank you for this! I actually didn't know either until the company offered to send me one - a bale is a huge lot of clothing; a micro-bale is still pretty frickin' big, but just not as big as a regular bale. In fact, I think maybe it has something to do with like, how they package up the lot - basically, it seemed like they shoved a ton of dresses into a container, then saran wrapped the dresses into the shape of that square like container if that makes sense. I'm probably confusing you even more, but they basically sent me a saran wrapped lot of like, 100 dresses.
I usually lose my voice after the first week of school. More talking than usual after a quiet summer.

Love your videos, l have about 30 pair of Miss Me jeans do you think l should list these jeans, l have boot cut, flare leg low rise, high rise skinny legs, some are high dollar all were given to me in mint condition should l listl to see if they will sell.but l would hate to list and ii would be a waste of time.. What would you suggest ?
Miss me jeans do tend to sell very well especially if they are heavily embellished. I pick them up anytime I’m able to find them at a good price. One thing to check when listing them is the decorative rivets on the miss me tag on the back waistline. I don’t know why but they have a tendency to come loose and fall off even on jeans that are in otherwise perfect condition. Even if they are missing a rivet or two I’ll still buy them to resell because usually buyers don’t mind, I just make sure to disclose it in my description and in photos. 💕💕
I would list them! I sold a pair of miss me skinny jeans for $40 very quickly. Perhaps not all of your pairs will sell fast, but I think you will start to see a quick return on some of them, and maybe being patient with the others. Just my two cents :)

Just like everyone else is advising - YES! I don't personally wear Miss Me jeans myself, but they sell extremely well - usually for at least $35 each. My vote is to list them!
YES - it's so frustrating when little pieces of the embellishment are missing. Definitely something to be careful of!
Just FYI-- Hoka's are pronounced Oh-nay Oh-nay (I have a friend who works for the company).
I think they rebranded to just Hoka but didn't make an announcement.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, the current week we're in has been painfully slow. I'm not quite sure why I had such a good sales week at the beginning of August - I don't think I was listing much more than usual or anything along those lines - reselling can be so unpredictable.
That being said, hang in there. I know firsthand that when sales are scarce. it's extremely demoralizing. The overall trend seems to be looking up, so keep the course!
@@beckyparkco The Ebay sales are pretty explainable as my sales always drop to nothing for about a week after a update, still nerve racking through lol..
As for Posh... I doubt i will stick with it as it take to much work for the profit margins.
Not obvious, not important, but I think it's pronounce "Hoka Oh-ney Oh-ney." Maori for "to fly over the earth." Now if I never find another pair of this brand, I will at least be able to pronounce it ;-)
