I have a 02 maxima as well. What do you suggest the main thing to change on my car to keep the maxima performance? No transmission or motor problems at all... Your maxima cranks up really good. Mines, kinda crank up kinda high but not to high of that makes any sense.... I just want mines right. I love mines... Would need your help for advice. Thanks!

Would you have to drive it a couple miles after installing it?

Hello, I was foolish and used a small ratchet, ended up breaking both bolts, I am unable to get the valve off even though both heads are broken.. Did you have any issues getting it un-seated?

So both bolts most of broken because even after spraying down with PB blaster once a day for 3 days prior the bolts are just spinning now. Any one fix this without having to remove the whole cannister from the car?

Did it fix it or the "service engine soon " came back . I have the same PO455 code . Did you say that with the vent valve replaced / fixed/ the car MPG actually is worse ? I noticed to day driving with the PO455 the MPG went to 32.

Those are inspection monitors. Essentially they are stored in RAM memory in the ECU so when you clear codes or disconnect the battery, the monitors also reset. You can look online and get the protocols for your vehicle to do drive cycling to get the monitors to set again. Each YMM of vehicle has a different protocol including certain criteria that has to be met before a drive cycle is successful with setting the monitors. You could drive around forever and never get the monitors to set unless you know the protocol and criteria for them.
