Hi, Dr. Rahman! For those taking the exam for a second time, we recommend students joining a Prep Doctors course to aid in the process. Many of our trainees have come to us when they have one attempt left and have said they wished they had come sooner. It is never too late to join. Visit us at prepdoctors.ca for more information.
Hello Dr. Siva , our course is only available in Canada and we offer the course in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Mississauga. The AFK fee is CAD 4500 + tax
Is it correct that if it takes you 2 years or more to prep for the exams, Canada lists you as a out of practice dentist? because you've been staying in Canada for 2+ years without working.
That's not entirely correct doctor. Your dentistry experience from outside Canada still counts and how your profile is viewed upon differs from employer to employer. All the dentists who go through the equivalency process have a 2 to 3 year gap.
Hello Dr. Khan, completing the whole NDEB process can take from anywhere between 1 to 2 years depending on how you plan your study and pass the exams. You can find more information about the costs on the NDEB website for their exam registration fees and the Prep Doctors website for our course fees which will help give you an idea about the approximate costs to go through the whole process. You can also email us at info@prepdoctors.ca to learn more about how to start your equivalency process and the time and costs involved.
We recommend attending the course in person and using our Prep Doctors study material that is updated with every exam cycle. If you cannot attend the course in person, we recommend using updated Dental Decks and the study materials recommended by NDEB.
The ACJ exam tests how dentists react to real-life situations and diagnose cases. The exam covers the core components of dental care - diagnosis, treatment planning, radiographic interpretation and clinical decision making.
What is your recommendation for those that they are taking the exam for second time?
