Scientifically it is Proved Making our own Handwritten Notes makes us 'Remember Things' More because our brain will have our own way of thinking & every brain is unique so our note taking skill can be different & we have to write things down in our own way to remember things in a better way , Note taking is time consuming but its worth because our own handwritten notes will make us understand concepts very clearly than reading someone else's notes ........
I actually had the same question. I started to take notes but coding is broad and it can be to much work to take all these notes. I later gave up taking notes because I almost emptied book stores because of buying books everyday.

In this video, Kunal bhai has mentioned why he didn't make notes. I agree with every point he made in this video.... But, what works for me works for me so I will continue to make notes specially at the initial phase of learning.

Now a days we have cheat sheets for coding, if you don't get anything you can always go back to the video or search on Google, and for sem exam many people provides notes on Internet.

I have started your DS bootcamp and i have no words to explain how it is helping me....I just landed up on one of those video while i was doing leetcode problem on arrays and believe me i was so amazed by the quality and way of your teaching that i have decided to watch all the videos from start to end....i am currently watching binary search. @@HPR2004... I would recommend you to follow his playlist only. For DSA in Java he is the best, he taught every topic in very detail and teaching style is also best. The only thing he has not covered is the Dynamic Programming and trees and graphs but You can cover those topics easily from anywhere by yourself. So I will say Don't worry about those topics, focus on what he taught. You will easily cover all topics if you have completed his Java DSA Playlist.

If I don't take notes I would don't even remember what I studied yesterday. Then think about how can I recall something I learned and practice a topic a week ago? So this doesn't suits me, because from my school days I was build in a way of making notes as my learning strategy. I think we should make notes for theory subjects like computer networks, OS, database, data structures and there standard algorithm apart from that we show focus more on practice for programming language, framework.

Already stopped making notes. If it's an important concept or "concept only study" then notes are made by me . Otherwise, just practicing questions (application) and referring to docs for learning.
