One important thing, Jesus pbuh came for a specific region of people, but Prophet Muhammad pbuh came for all mankind. He completed the deen and perfected the way of life. We can learn every single aspect of our life through his example. How to dress, how to eat, how to sleep, how to speak politely, common etiquette, how to behave with our spouse, how to parent our children, how to treat our relatives, how to behave at work, how to interact with people who are arguing or fighting with you, how to interact with those who are being kind to you, how to manage our money, how to spend our money, every single,
how to can be answered through his life because he lived in this world as a human being, a perfect human being. So the answer to that question they are both prophets of perfect excellent character, but there is more to learn from prophet, Mohammed, peace, be upon him because his purpose for being on the earth was for us to learn to better our character.

The Quran is clear about this, we should not distinguish between the messengers.
    Al-Baqarah - 285
The Messenger (Muhammad SAW) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. They say, "We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers" - and they say, "We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your Forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return (of all)."

So when Jesus says in mark and Mathew that all children go to heaven. And muhamid says that children go to hell( not his wife’s I mean new born children) Sunan Abi Dawud 4717 and Sahih Muslim 2662 c . You gotta be kidding me. Jesus who said “ if you even look at another women with lust you have committed adultery in your heart. vs muhamid who had orgies and said a women’s testimony ( is only have a man’s and that the majority of hell is women (Sahih al-Bukhari 304). Or how about how muhamid allowed r@pe of female captives (Sahih Muslim 1456 a) or when Muhammad allowed prostitution (Sahih Muslim 1406 b) or when he stoned and whipped females, cut of their hands for their sins(Sahih Muslim 1689, Sahih Muslim 1701 a, Sahih Muslim 1690 a) I could go on and on. Muhammad is under the foot of Jesus Christ

The judgment belongs to ONLY Allah (SWT), In the Holy Quran all of the prophets stories including the miracles that came to them by Allah (SWT) permission is for us to use as an examples, to strengthen our faith, have patience, be kind to others, and etc. to improve our character and become better people, and positive contributors to our society. We are Muslims Al humd ul Allah. All prophets from Adam P.B.U.H. to Muhammad P.B.U.H. are an example for us! We can draw inspiration and patience from their stories. For example, Jonah P.B.U.H was eaten by the whale, Joseph P.B.U.H. was betrayed by his brothers and then falsely accused and imprisoned. Abraham ordered by Allah to sacrifice his son. Moses saving his people from the slavery and persecution of Pharaoh. Prophet Ayyub mention in the Quran for his patience. We have more detailed knowledge of Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H. life and the trails and turbulations he had to deal with, that would shake any man to the core. Jesus P.B.U.H is the messiah. He has unfinished business to take care of on earth i.e., fight the Dajjal (Anti Christ)!

The term "excellent example" in this context emphasizes that the Prophet's actions, decisions, and his way of life are "a comprehensive model for Muslims". It encompasses various aspects:
Spiritual and Religious Practice: The Prophet’s devotion, prayer, and remembrance of God are portrayed as ideals for personal spiritual growth. He is seen as a model of how to maintain a strong connection with God amidst the challenges of daily life.
Ethical Conduct: Muhammad's integrity, honesty, and justice in dealings, whether in family matters, social issues, or governance, serve as a benchmark for ethical behavior in diverse situations.
Compassion and Mercy: His interactions, especially his mercy towards others, including enemies, are crucial aspects of his example. This teaches Muslims to embody compassion in their lives.
Leadership and Resilience: As a leader, the Prophet's strategies in conflict, his resilience in face of opposition, and his ability to maintain a cohesive community are particularly relevant lessons for leadership.
Social Justice: Muhammad's efforts in establishing justice and his advocacy for the rights of the marginalized and the needy are seen as foundational principles for societal engagement.

    Part#1
The coming prophet must be from Moses brethren and his life and mission must be similar to Moses, “ Like unto thee ”.
1- Moses had a father and a mother. 2- Moses was conceived and born in the natural
way. 3- Moses married and begot children. 4- Moses was accepted as a prophet by his people
    during his lifetime.
5- Moses was a founder, leader and exemplar of a
community of believers and brought a new law
with new regulations. 6- Moses died a natural death.
Christians say that this prophecy applies to Jesus but note that only two similarities are there between Jesus and Moses.
A- Jesus was a prophet. B- Jesus was an Israelite.
If these are only two criteria for discovering a candidate for this prophecy, then any one of the following prophets would fit the bill … Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hoses, Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist…because all of them were both prophets and Israelites. This prophecy of the coming of someone “ like unto thee ” cannot be applied to Jesus, as Jesus most unlike Moses. 1) According to Christians, Jesus either God or son
    of God.
    2) Jesus was conceived by unusual manner. 3) Jesus had only a mother. 4) Jesus never married or begot children. 5) His people did not accept him, according to the
Bible: “ He (Jesus) came unto his own, but his
own received him not ”. (John 1:11).
And even today, the Jews as a whole have
    rejected him.
    6) Jesus did not bring a new law. He took pains to
assure his people that he did not come with a
new religion - no new laws and no new
regulations. (Matthew 5:17-18) 7) Moses established his kingdom on earth but
Jesus told his kingdom is not of this world.
    (John 18:36).
    8) According to the Christians, Jesus died an
unnatural brutal death on the cross for the sins
of the world. 9) According to Christianity, Jesus went to hell for
three days. Moses and Muhammad never went
there. It is very evident that Jesus is most unlike Moses. All the required criteria of the prophecy in (Deuteronomy18:18-19) of the coming prophet fits none other than the prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and prayers be upon him) like a glove. 1) The prophet Muhammad had a father and a
    mother.
    2) The prophet Muhammad was conceived and born
in a natural way. 3) The prophet Muhammad married and begot
    children.
    4) The people accepted the prophet Muhammad as
the prophet and messenger of Allah during his
lifetime. 5) The prophet Muhammad was a founder, leader,
lawgiver and an exemplar of a community of
believers, He brought a new law and new
    regulations.
    6) The prophet Muhammad died of natural death. The prophecy proceeds further:
“ And I will put My words into his mouth…” Prophet Muhammad used to go to a cave called Hera’a on mount Noor in Makkah to meditate. And it was the 27Th night of the Muslim’s month of Ramadan (610 A.C), when the archangel Gebriel first appeared to him.
He commanded Muhammad in his mother tongue:
( Eqra’a ) which means read or recite! Muhammad is terrified and replies ( ma ana beqari ) which means I am not learned! The angle commands him a second time with the same result. For the third time while embracing Muhammad tight, the angle continues: ( Eqra’a bismi rubbickal- lathi khalaq ) ( AlQur’an 96:1-5 ), which means:
“ Read in the name of thy lord who created ”.
Now, the prophet Muhammad knew that what was required of him was to repeat! And he repeated the words as they were put into his mouth. For the next twenty- three years of Muhammed’s prophetic life, words of Al-Qur’an were put into his mouth, And he uttered them exactly as they were revealed and as foretold in the prophecy: “ and I will put my words into his mouth ” . ( Duet. 18:18 )

This verse is significant as it directs Muslims to look towards the Prophet's life and character as a guide for their own behavior and spiritual development. Here it is: Quran Surah Al- Ahzaab- 21:

    Quran, Surah Al Hashr 7:
whatever the Messenger gives you, take it, and whatever he forbids you, abstain from it. And fear Allah God is severe The punishment (7): This verse directly connects to the concept of following the Prophet’s example:
Acceptance and Abstinence: It directly instructs believers to accept what the Prophet has given and abstain from what he has forbidden. This aligns with viewing him as an "excellent example," where his lifestyle and decisions serve as a direct guide for permissible and forbidden actions.
Severity of Consequences: The mention of fearing Allah and the severity of His punishment reinforces the seriousness of adhering to the Prophet’s teachings, which are in themselves derived from divine guidance.

Thanks to Allah that you showed up again sister.
Very very smart question and observation.
The life of Prophit Muhammad, PBUH, was documented since he was a baby, literally everything about him, i mean EVVVERYTHING and he had his wives kept his diaries for Muslims to preserve it in books. Prophit Eissa or the Christ had not had that chance, not much known of him.
Also in the Quran prophit Muhammad was described as he is of a great Morale or of a great withstanding

(2:285) The Messenger believes, and so do the believers, in the guidance sent down upon him from his Lord: each of them believes in Allah, and in His angels, and in His Books, and in His Messengers. They say: “We make no distinction between any of His Messengers. We hear and obey. Our Lord! Grant us Your forgiveness; to You we are destined to return.”

˹Remember˺ when Allah made a covenant with the prophets, ˹saying,˺ “Now that I have given you the Book and wisdom, if there comes to you a messenger confirming what you have, you must believe in him and support him.” He added, “Do you affirm this covenant and accept this commitment?” They said, “Yes, we do.” Allah said, “Then bear witness, and I too am a Witness.”

Dear revert brother/sister in Imaan, I am very glad that you have recognised the truth God has revealed in the Quran and couldn't resist Islam.
I am your brother all the way from India.
I am a revert Muslim too. I hope and pray my advice helps you in your journey with God, and to God.
I would like to advise you to take your deen primarily from the Quran and become more Quran-centric in your understanding of Islam. While you may need to turn to Hadith to fulfill the obligations set by Allah such as Salah (Daily prayers), fasting, Hajj, charity, and moral goodness but not rely on it blindly when it tries to push Arabian culture as Islam, create a narrow sectarian mindset, and tries to demonise the character of the nobleProphet (Pbuh) or when it clearly contradicts the Quran in at least 20 different matters.
Therefore, for believers of sound intellect who like to think deeply and not not get swayed by emotional sectarian rhetoric about the Prophet (Pbuh) and follow the clergy obsessed cults blindly (I did that for over a decade before becoming obsessed with the Quran for all answers and direction), there are many aspects of Hadiths which appear quite spurious and even in direct contradiction with the Quran.
You need to be particularly careful when certain stories found in the Hadith collection (compiled more than 200 years after the Prophet but considered very holy and unquestionable by sectarian clergy ulema), portray the Prophet’s (pbuh) noble character in very poor light. I would advise you to not believe everything blindly because Muslims make you believe in those spurious stories with a lot of zeal, which they have been made to believe through years of institutionalised sectarian indoctrination.
I would advise you to exercise caution when exploring the Hadith canon. But the Quran being God’s final revelation is fully protected from human corruption.
However, while the other secondary sources of Islamic knowledge may contain some prophetic truth within it, but do not believe everything which Muslims have been made to believe through these books saying certain books are as pure and reliable as the Quran.
Do bear in mind that Muslims are good people and are very sincere in what they believe about the Hadiths. So it's ok to avoid disagreements when it comes to issues which emerge from certain problematic Hadeeths.
Even early Islamic history seems highly distorted due to these man-made ‘holy’ books and this understanding of Islam by new Muslims does create many problems for the Muslim community around the world especially the trouble it creates for reverts with their own family and close friends can be avoided if you become more Quran centric and avoid argument over cultural matters.
Hadeeth centric Islam isolates you from the wider world by making you change your culture and appear very foreign and alien like to the local people and creates many psychological barriers for people of faith from other religions to consider islam seriously because it tries to change EVERYTHING about you whereas the QURAN only expects you to fix your character and faith not your appearance or culture. None of the previous prophets tried to do this but hadeeth centric Islam does it and thinks this is what Allah has prescribed.
I pray Allah always guides you to HIS WAY, and not some sectarian way, made up by people after the Prophet left this world and that Allah keeps you protected from satanic deceptions in matters of faith. Ameen.
In my 15 years experience, most Muslims are very Hadith-centric and expect reverts to follow Islam which is predominantly from Hadeeths and not the Quran.
Most Muslims are only aware of the beautiful side of hadeeth corpus but are generally kept unaware of the problematic side so if if you blindly follow things which are not from the Quran, you may end up making all kinds of enemies for yourself especially your own family will find you very problematic. But it's not the case when you're more Quran centric in your understanding and practice of Islam.

    Nikmat allah atas Islam, Alhamdulillah.

As Muslims we believe that Jesus and Muhammad peace and blessings be upon them were both fully human, BUT Christ's experience in life was not like Muhammad peace and blessings be upon them. Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him was a family man, he had more than one wife, he had children, he was a statesman, he had a law which he implemented during his lifetime, he was a warrior, he was also a trader, and more. Jesus peace and blessings be upon him, was none of the above.
As a layman I find prophet Muhammad an example in every aspect of life he was the only one sent for all mankind to follow, Jesus was sent to the Jews only at his time.
A BIG DIFFERENCE, but we love them all, and we need to follow Muhammad peace and blessings be upon all prophets because he was the last and final prophet, and were ordered to do so.

My dear sister Jesus on whom be Peace was sent to the children of Israel at the time when they needed spiritual guidance from their Creator in their daily lives. The Prophet Muhammad on whom be Peace was sent by Allah also but to all of mankind. The Message of Allah to his creation is one revealed completely to Prophet Muhammad on whom be Peace as is mentioned in the Quran in Surah Maida , chapter 5 verse verse 3. And as we know that when our mother Aisha on whom be Peace was asked what was the life of the Prophet Muhammad like. In my view Prophet Mohammad PBUH and Prophet Jesus PBUH both are great examples for humanity and both have been sent by Allah to guide humanity through different times. Since Mohammad came as last and final messenger of humanity to guide us to right path which is Once There is only one God only a worthy worship. The holy Quran is untouched and same book God which revealed to Prophet Mohammad PBUH. Unfortunately, Bible verses changed over times and Christianity started believing Prophet Jesus PBUH as God that’s why its misleading the word of God so God decided to send final messenger to guide us in right path which is Once

Although Prophets have their varying ranks amongst themselves but it is not for us to differentiate and talk about this issue because in the process we might talk against a prophet of God in a disrespectful way. We learn this from the teachings of Prophet Muhammad as he spoke about other prophets he was very careful and chose his words very wisely and carefully. Quran mentions the attributes of good Muslims as " We do not differentiate between anyone of his Prophets.

Both of Messengers of Allah. Both preach upon the same teachings, to obey ,worship and have deep faith and believe in the one and only Allah. The only difference is that they were sent to earth at diiferent times for the different ummah. Different language & Hence the various Kitab or Holy Book - Torah, Injil and Quran etc. Different eras with Prophet Muhammad PBUH being the final messenger guiding mankind of This era and superseding Prophet Isa (Jesus AS). The concept is the same towards understanding the rest of the other Prophets during their era and to their Ummah. As a Muslim, we believe that one day Isa or Jesus AS will be sent back to This earth after Imam Mahdi for the revelation and to correct all misconceptions and confusions that’s clouding the minds of some.

I think the mission of Jesus wasnt as complicated and challenging as the mission of Muhammad, but as Muslims we are ordered to not compare between them although the last prophet's mission was very heavy and included every aspect of life and religion you can imagine, and even if the prophet didnt know about his mission until he was fourty, his character was noble and he always prayed to Allah in the "Haraa" cave, just to say that he was pious and didn't sin too, he had very solid mind strenght, he always prays the night and for example when Omar wanted to do like him, he said no, you wont be able to do like me, i think you can learn about him from examples from his life but for Jesus he also was a great messenger and he will come again and will carry a greater mission than before, he will descend in the minaret of the Umayyad mosque in Damascus, the white minaret, between the wings of two angels, but its the last sign of the end times and he will lead the Muslim Umma but will follow the teaching of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon them all, and to give you a summerized answer, i quote the hadith, the prophet said, i was sent to perfect the noble of characters, so as a role model he's the best and when he was in the heavens with all the messengers he led the prayer
