Number 15 was the confusing one for me because in real estate school it says you can divide territory if it’s within the same firm and not against a different firm. That’s why I would’ve chose number 2

Question, if you pass one exam and fail the other, do you still have to take the part of the exam you already passed all over again when you go in to retest?

It devastated me and I was so disappointed in myself even though I'm 47 and haven't taken the test in probably 25 years. I definitely have heard questions in this video that I know where on the exam that I was struggling with thank you for all your doing prayers that I passed the second time around.❤

Is there an o line school that you can recommend?
I went to a school in Kansas City called Career Education Systems. I know they operate in a few states, but what might be best is for you to contact the brokerage you're going to join and ask them who they recommend. In fact you might call the two largest real estate offices near you and ask both of them who they recommend for real estate school. There should be a local training center who has both Online classes and also in person classes.

It’s frustrating because I get 80-85% on all the practice test, when people test me out of the book I always get the questions right. But when I take the exam I get 63-65%. It’s because of the wording of the questions. The wording is jumbled I’m like nobody talks like that. Is there something I can do to help me understand what the questions are saying and asking?
Yea the exams have gotten worse on trying to trick people on the questions. Keep studying and the next time you take it, make a list of the questions that are really hard that you might be guessing on. Write down those text questions numbers on the stratch paper they give you. Then at the end of the exam, go back to those questions and see if you'd answer the same way. Sometimes it's simply text anxiety. because it sounds like you know the info well, it's just getting flustered during the exam on how they're wording questions. These exams are very stressful and by the time you've finished you should have some extra time. Go back to the ones you "guessed" at and spend some time reading them again. That could be the very thing that gets you up to a passing score.

I think if number 7 were rewritten as "Which would most likely cause the biggest loss of value on real property?" I personally couldn't tell if the question was in reference to that or if it was in reference to the biggest cause as in the most common, most likely cause.

I see your point. It would be which one of those has the most impact on the value. obsolescence has much more impact making it the biggest cause. It could potentially take something down to zero value. like buying a house with an old outhouse that nobody would ever use anymore. The outhouse would be obsolete

Question, from what I've been learning, only surface rights are transferred with the property， which conflicted what was said on Q1.
For the purpose of a real estate exam, the answer will be all rights will transfer. But in real life other rights may not actually transfer, depending on the property due to local restrictions. But for the purpose of the exam, it would be answered like on the video. For example, air rights could have limitations, depending on the closeness to airports, caves can be built underneath of a property if those restrictions are also recorded, but a real estate exam is looking for the most general answer.
I'm studying for the Florida exam and I'm having a difficult time learning Florida Statutes 475, 455, 120, 20 etc.. Do you have any advice on how I can learn these better? How did you learn your statutes? Thanks in advance.
just read the material over and over. try to get it all memorized and then go take the exam while it's all in your head. you don't need to get all the questions correct, just enough to pass and you're done. but yea just keep reading it all. over and over.
I just took the national and missouri state exams today and failed! 😢😢 there was 2 questions on there about bilateral and unilateral that i have never heard of or studied?
Do listing agents typically receive a larger commission than a buyer's agent? Or is it the same if not less than the buyer's agent commission? I'm always hearing agents talk about how to get more listings rather than how to get more buyers.
It's most common for the commission to be split equally between listing and buyer brokerages. For example a 6% listing would offer 3% to the buyer's agent. Listings are great because listing agents will pick up more buyers from the listing, and sometimes even more listings in that neighborhood. and usually if you have a listing, those clients will be buying another home so you get a buyer out of it too.
@@jonathangoforthshow7427 I always thought a listing agent would keep most of the commission because they have to spend money to market the property which can cost a lot as well as deal with more agents, more paperwork, etc. Whereas all a buyer's agent does is show the home, write an offer, and negotiate. The only thing they spend money on is gas to drive around
You'd think so, but it's usually split evenly. However some agents will charge a BAC Broker Admin Commission to help cover those extra costs especially if the listing agent is hiring a professional photographer. That's a fee charged to the client in addition to the commission, so that can help cover costs of photos and marketing
So helpful! I missed the #9 FANNIE Mae question. Literally picked something similar to 1, when I should’ve picked 3. Failed by 70.8 😭😞 My exam is 120 questions in NC. I heard you say some states are only 80 questions? No way?
Most of the states divide out the state portion from the national portion and give two separate exams. I wonder if your state only has the one exam with 120 questions?
