very useful, clear and soothing (thanks to your soft voice) video, thank you Cecelia, can we be as successful with outlining and just making straight one line quilling with a 3mm paper strip?
Thank you so much Setare! That's a great question! I've not tried it because I've been making my quilling projects larger lately. However, I think it'll be just fine. What makes more of a difference is the thicker of the paper itself. Instead of using conventional quilling paper, I'm cutting my own from Canson Mi-Teintes paper, which is 160 gsm. It's extra thickness gives me the straighter lines I'm looking for in letter projects. Have you tried thicker paper?

Hi. So glad to have found your site. Ready to get back into quilling. I’m getting prepped and would love to know what the blue plastic tool you use to place your glue lines?
Welcome back to quilling Sue! The blue plastic card I'm using is a divider that came from a fish tackle box that I bought at a local hardware store back in 2012. Please could you tell me which fine tip glue bottles you use? I've tried a couple, but not completely happy with them. Also, where can I get replacement Anti-rust pins for the nozzles. I've looked all over for them & can't find any. 'Stainless Steel' doesn't mean Anti-rust, I've discovered!
Hi Anne, I've replied to your questions on the glue video about the nozzles and bottles. You're right - stainless steel can still rust, but oddly enough, mine hasn't, and I'm not sure why. The one I use is a map pin - maybe it doesn't rust because it's so short? The round plastic head keeps the glue from drying up. I didn't buy it on Amazon. I just happened to have it in my drawer for years and can't remember where I got it from.
