Inside A Couple's Self-Designed Penthouse Home With A Sculptural Stairway

This week, we take you on a tour of a very special transformation of an old resale condo in Tanah Merah. Homeowners Kenny and Ruby had a few considerations in mind for their home, and viewed over 20 apartments before finding this particular one.
While the finished piece that you see now is a stunning makeover, it’s quite incredible to see just how much has been done to the previous place. For others with a less keen eye, it may have been hard to look before the space as it does have an awkward layout, a dated spiral staircase and a number of void spaces.
It’s a huge testament to the couple’s creativity, as the entire place was self-designed. They removed the existing utility room to create their now open concept kitchen, with an oversized kitchen island that can double up as a dining space.
The previously dated-looking spiral staircase has been transformed into a stunning wood-wrapped statement, and it really serves as an eye-catching piece the moment you walk in.
Other improvements to the space include a relaxing balcony that was inspired by their travels. The terrazzo tiles and seamless built-in L-shaped seating complete the look.
Special mention has to go to their master bedroom. It’s already unique enough with the high slanted roof, but that height is further accentuated with the two wooden arched windows that can be opened up to view the first floor.

The wood wrapped stairs, definitely.
The study. Use of dark paint to hide the odd shaped room. I like dark study rooms - it helps with focus, and smart choice to put the table just perpendicular to the window with blinds to control the lighting. It's also doggo's hangout :)

3. Sanksi jerman atas pemberhentian nya Nordstream2 sebenernya merugikan eropa, Amrik pasti akan supply gas ke eropa dengan harga lebih tinggi (biasa bisnis)

If this is the condo of what I think it is, TOP 2000 ,99 yrs current buyers might have hard time unloading with profit 10 yrs from now, unless hoping for en-bloc!!😆😆😆😆
The bones of the home & design is nice but their stuff is very manufactured, everything is for Instagram, the decor and everything is all for show and impersonal. But that’s just my opinion.
