- Fun fact: Su Lee and Taro start off as rivals as seen in this video. However starting from late in Season 2 they seem to become friends, as Su Lee accompany drunk Taro home before she heads on. In Season 3, both become friends as seen in S3E1 where Taro defends Su Lee from the mean words of Jock, and in S3E5 Court Episode where Taro says to a man insulting Su Lee : "Don't speak like that to my friendo!".
Anyways I decided to do this edit because a good friend of mines' favourite character is Su Lee. Enjoy!

She's hilarious 😂 the best part is she works for a diplomat but says the most undiplomatic things and even exposes that she and her fellow Maoists infiltrate other countries to overthrow imperialist/ capitalists! The very opposite of what a diplomat would act like

Su Lee's actress is Pik Sen Lim, a Malaysian Chinese so her accent is that, and it was funny Taro went in the ladies room, I wonder how awkward it must be.

And one of the more hardworking and intellectual students in class. No other student has been so outspoken in ideology. She is the few students who are genuinely interested in the English class and does her homework well. Sadly she got replaced by a man in season 4 who is so cringy I begun to feel Su Lee should have been in Season 4
@@authentic_ametinshe didn't need the class to begin with, her English was probably university level. The switching L and R in pronunciation isn't enough reason to take this night class. She's the best. When I was little i told myself she took the class to merely spread her ideology amongst the impressionable foreign students, like a personal mission.😂

I would want to reach there, but there is 1 Season 2 Video about Ingrid. Right now I want to focus on Season 1, when I am done with main characters(there are total 14 main characters and I only done 2(Juan and Su Lee), but maybe I will do one for Zoltan so stay tuned

Though technically not a requirement, the book was so wide spread that everyone did carry a copy. Soon during the Cultural Revolution, people started to carry it to show that they were in line with the Party as if you were expected to even doubt communism or the Party, you would be publicly humiliated and even killed. One way they figured out who was loyal and who wasn’t was getting people to recite quotes from Mao’s Little Red Book, even making people recite entire pages. So some did follow and memorize his speeches because they did genuinely believe him, and others did out of fear so they wouldn’t be a potential target.

His actor, Robert Lee is from China you r right but Taro is Japanese.
