Joe, it seems to me that all the pieces are falling perfectly in place for Toyota. They're going for the ruling Japanese Auto brand! This Camry continues this hot streak. 🔥 Reminds me just like back in 2018 redesign.

It's awesome and will get 50 mpg. It'll sell like hot cakes. My parents bought a new Camry in 2002 for $20K. Fast forward 22 years and 200K+ miles, they just sold it for $4K. Good deal! And it still runs like new, very smooth too. They loved it.
It won't 200k miles without replacing the CVT.....
@@mk5rob42 You need to do more research on Toyota's eCVT.
Asians love Toyota. I went for Chinese food today and the employee parking is always full of Toyota only and some Lexus too. Also our nail salon, all Asian drive Toyota. I had a nice Asian woman she told me her name is Katie and the other lady that did my mom’s nails, she said her name is Cindy.

Toyota did their homework
The Honda is quicker 0 to 60. It also has a roomier interior. I was leaning towards buying the Honda, but this new Camry looks like it might have an advantage in driving dynamics. I prefer the styling of the Honda, but I'd buy the Touring in an AWD if that was an option, so that's a point to the Toyota. A back to back demo when the Toyota hits dealers will sort out this out.
@@kenhiett5266 2TheRedline got a 0-60 in 6.4 seconds. The Honda does it in around 7 seconds.
@@kenhiett5266Lol the Accord is not quicker than this new Camry! Get both of them on a flat surface, and the Camry will be a half second faster 0-60.
@@thecriticalthinkeroutsidet4947 Redline was 6.9 going downhill. It clocked in about a second slower when he got to flatter ground. The Honda is about 6.6 rw.

I bought an SUV , after about a year I sold it. I just missed sitting lower and being able to hit the corners, after a while SUVs feel big and it makes me miss having a sedan, I like the nimble feeling of a sedan like a Camry
Same thing here. I bought a Volkswagen Tiguan in 2019 and it felt too top heavy in the corners and it was, so I bought a smaller and more agile Mazda CX-5, and it’s better, but I’m going for a sedan in June when I sell the Mazda to my mom. Yep

From a design standpoint this blows the new Accord out of the water.
There are aspects that I like on it, especially the upgraded interior.. but the wide front bumper is ugly in my opinion. Still makes the car look like a mom vehicle if that makes sense.

I really like the interior design, exterior however is not really my taste. Not having a V6 option and especially with a transmission choice only being a CVT is a huge letdown.
I'll stick to my 2020 Camry XSE V6
the transmission is E-CVT not CVT
@@z1az285 As if that makes it any better?
@@Gangstabob716 Yes, its far superior in reliability, maintenance and efficiency and at a minimum there is no comparison with a CVT. None. don't take my word for it. do your own research and you will see for yourself.
@@Gangstabob716it does and it clearly shows you don’t understand what e-CVT is
@@z1az285 yes it uses electric motor to control the speeds. I'm aware that its used in priuses as well. At the end of the day, its still a CVT with no real gears.
I agree to the Zonk on the lack of the drivers seat memory. My wife and I both drive each other’s vehicles and definitely use the memory settings. Good looking vehicle, inside and out and the MPG is very good.

Really annoyed there's no V6. They could've at least put in a 2.4 Turbo. That V6 was a real gem.
Fingers crossed that will be added down the road.
This is latest strategy. You want performance they force you into luxury brand at ridiculous prices. No way they put the 2.4L turbo in Camry. They will force you into Lexus brand for $15K more
Nice job Joe and Co. Good to hear about improved seating in new model, as that was my only complaint about current gen. I guess I'll wait and see how they did, but improved all hybrid efficiency really appeals to fuel saving interests, too, as well as reduced price.
Looks very good. Finally TY is having nice looking cars.
I believe the previous generation Camry XSE had red interior as well. It's not a new option. I am digging the new look as well! They definitely did a great job with the front facia.

When a front is as aggressive as this one is, I like for the rear lip spoiler to be a little less wimpy. Love the color and the exhaust.
The looks are definitely growing on me. That interior is a huge upgrade. Can't wait to see someone upload a night drive!
You are not the only one saying that!
The thing nobody ever mentions about 16" rims is you'll get better mpg, lower NVH, less tire wear, and better ride comfort. Large rims creates more problems than it solves. This is coming from someone who used to hop up Civics back in the day. Oh yeah, you also get worse acceleration
I've always hated those low profile tires. So easy to destroy with even small potholes. This car needs regular tires.
Copy and paste on every Camry review lol

With my lease ending on my 21 XSE with standard 4banger, I stalked the dealership website for a month. Finally check last week and they had two of them. CVT is a misnomer here and ultimately the eCVT is the most reliable and efficient transmission for a hybrid. Hybrid max with 6 speed TC may make it into the Camry but you ain't saving much gas with it.
