am here today, reading this, and thinking of what has happened in the last few days in Gaza and Israel and am deeply saddened that its just last year that this kid's life was looking up like some normalcy has returned.... the comment encouraging her that "living in gaza doesn't have to mean living in war" is heartbreaking..... God be with the people of Palestine and Israel. May you find peace.
Yes I too came here after these events. In the US after every mass school shooting they say it’s a mental health problem not a gun problem. With this much trauma and stress, is it a wonder these kids grow up and commit horrible atrocities like Hamas did in the last week.

Nice work, thank you for this repot from Gaza. It’s incredible how the medical professionals, facing extremely reduced resources, manage to help civilians, particularly the children traumatized by Israeli military bombing their homes, schools, streets. All of this wouldn’t be there if the occupation stops. Gaza is an open air prison and the world is just ignoring it completely.
