I had to take my adult sons dog. He got her and became ver ill with Crohn's disease and I didn't want her to go to shelter. Shes only 1 yr old and high energy. Ive been learning so much from you which makes me able to have her and saves her from shelter maybe her life. Thank you good sir! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

Exactly! It's just like if your kid is stressed and scared. If you become calm and firm in the situation and you let them know/ feel that you got this, you got their backs and they don't need to worry, they are going to calm down and look to you to feel safe. Dogs need reassuring that they can trust you.

Thank you, I will start doing this. My farm dog shepherd Jack needs to chill, when I walk him in town. He's come a long way for a pup born into a situation of wild dogs, in the great frozen Canadian north. He's two now, will take on a bear, or a moose without hesitation, but he's aggressive when it comes to dogs. Mostly fear.
    I'm gonna keep watching.
Thank you again, from an old grandma in northern Ontario Canada❤🇨🇦

Beautiful dog. Yes this truck really helps with reactivity I see dogs infront of their owner and they are much more likely to become reactive especially if they are on a tight leash and they are not confident or nervous animals in the first place. This tactic allows your dog to look to you for direction, they see that you are calm and it communicates what is expected of them. He's a great trainer!

Ooh I like that one. I've always been in the habit of putting my dog to a sit when I stop. My problem is now trying to figure out how to change the speed of the paces when we walk. I always walked fast but now that I have arthritis in my ankle and I'm legally blind I still have 25% of my vision I'm not always sure where I'm going, I have a beautiful red golden and she is amazing and I want to get the most out of her. She is picked up on my anxiety and has learned how to calm me when I'm anxious but now I would like to make her my service dog I'm having a tough time finding a Handler or trainer that can help me. I have trained a lot of dogs before I lost my vision now it's a little scary.

I have a cane corso puppy that is so nippy even when try to pet her.. She's 3 months old. I have some timers heard to use more aggressive measure to stop this but really all I want is to show her love and affection but its also hard to get her to settle down enough to hug and pet her.. She constantly putting my hands, feet or fingers in her mouth. Saying no doesn't work. Also is using a correction collar ok.. I have a 5# older chihuahua she antagonizes... And a15 # mixed Chuihuahua that got into a fight with her yesterday because she wants to play and she keeps going up to them which they don't like. If I push her away she starts getting mouthy with my hands and jumping at me a bit, in a playful way, but she wont stop. She's damn willful for sure. How can I assure that my little dogs, she wont end up hurting them. I have a golden Weiner about 20 # that does like to play with her to an extent but what will happen? Is Harlow the Cane puppy will get over the top of her and but her jaws around her head or throat… its not hurting her but it concerns me so we take her out on a leash now... And our golden Weiner so wants to play chase but not wrestle with her. She hides most of the day in a safe spot until
She is ready to go out.

He is a dog that wants me to hold him all the time but for some reason when I bend down to pick him up he also gets scared and backs away. I don’t know what to do.

I haven't managed to figure out if this is out if excitement, aggression or fear/anxiety. He is a rescue who we couldn't find out the history of as well.
