I face this same issue at 30, I have many people leave me but I'm susceptible about my inner circle (those who have known me for a long time and spent significant time together). Suddenly I feel my pals don't treat me well and I'm clingy and reaching out to them, asking how their day/week/month/year was, listening to them and treating them with importance. Now, I feel bad about myself, feeling so worthless, I failed to make to new friends longing for the good old days and stupid nostalgia while everyone moved on with their lives. For an instance, when I talk to them they keep doing their stuff and pretend to have conversation with me on the phone, like I don't deserve their full attention. Glad I found this video today. This is soo true. I am exactly going through this. I had 2 extremely close friends for the past 7 months, but it seemed like we were friends from a really long time. They left me and quickly replaced me. It feels so hurting. Like it's been 3 months that they have left me and I still think about them and the good times we shared. It's even more difficult since we all live in hostel and I see them constantly with their new friend laughing just like how we used to. Things have never been the same for me. My 10 year friendship ended, just beacuse My best friend keeps choosing her new friends and when i tell her to her face that i feel uncomfortable because she keeps only talking about them. So i once asked her why she does that she says she feels embarrassed and it hurt me a lot because it's not the first time she has done such a thing. This is soo true. I am exactly going through this. I had 2 extremely close friends for the past 7 months, but it seemed like we were friends from a really long time. They left me and quickly replaced me. It feels so hurting. Like it's been 3 months that they have left me and I still think about them and the good times we shared. It's even more difficult since we all live in hostel and I see them constantly with their new friend laughing just like how we used to. Things have never been the same for me. But still I can't move on completely. I wonder what if they never replaced me, what if everything was as it used be. Did you overcome it yet. If yes, how? Please share some tips.

Even after facing each other around our mutual friends none of us initiated to talk. I was heartbroken as she seemed to be unbothered by me not being in her life. I felt a bit emotional but had no other option. All my friends turned out to be good friends with her n all I have is nothing now. I was just trying to handle myself through all this but as I saw her yesterday right in front of me, all the flashbacks just hit my head which is indeed painful.

My 10 year friendship ended, just beacuse My best friend keeps choosing her new friends and when i tell her to her face that i feel uncomfortable because she keeps only talking about them. So i once asked her why she does that she says she feels embarrassed and it hurt me a lot because it's not the first time she has done such a thing. It's her 5th time doing such a thing this year and she doesn't understand her mistake and it makes me feel bad because whenever i try to put my point of view to be known she keeps saying "idk what i did wrong" and keeps blaming me :(

Sir,I had best friend since 6 years I treated him as more than brother because I don't have brothers.Many of the arguments and fights happened in these years but not breaked relation.since 4 months he is started saying that you are one of my close friend but not high and I can live with out you and you wants to be happy even in my absence. Look I'm also same situation it's very difficult to leave someone whom you emotionally attached but I'm always thinking if he lives without me than why I can't, if I'm really important person to him he never leave me. I saw him how he ignored me for other person. He just used me, take advantage, and for timepass. Wt you think im not living now. Listen if you love, care, give important to that person more than anyone then think how he is unlucky, he lost you. I know it's very difficult to lose emotional attachment from someone. But believe me after somedays u just become like that type of person, u never believe others words so easily, never trust anyone, never give advantage someone can use you, focus on your career because this is only u can change your life it's not happening by someone frd ship. @@DeekParassini Not now Sir but there is a huge possibility that we will meet or be each other's classmates. All the anger and future thoughts that what if the possibility comes true or other related thoughts comes to my mind while I am not able to solve question or topic seems tough means I get distracted and goes to the zone of thinking about them.
Mainly I think maybe I have done something wrong to them or as we are going to switch to college , they don't need me anymore. Many fights and arguments happened in 3 years but all of them were resolved mainly by her but sometimes by me and I was CR and one of the known students of my class.
