I had a JW friend who married a lady in his congregation.
Sadly this lady suicided. Obviously this caused my friend great heartache, and he relocated to the other side of Australia and I lost contact, due to missing catching up before he left.

This was my favourite Bible verse, in my younger days. I'm over 60, and need to take new Courage and faith that, With Christ, all things are possible according to His will and purpose in all our lives

Of coarse this is what happens when a so called spiritual organization is completely carnal. Members are trained to only think about their reward. No relationship with Jehovah or Christ, but only a sense of duty to men. We must pray for them to find freedom from Babylonian bondage from sin and spiritual death. Babylon, the false church, is truly massive!

The drinking problem is a real issue with the exception of a few we were amazed at how many were alcoholics. The pressure that is being put on them and the fact that the end doesn’t come they are so focused on that that they are missing out on living and enjoying life right now. Great video thank you ❤

Man I was a drunken depressed/suicidal jw when I was in spiritual paradise.
And I knew a lot of people who had the same. It isn’t A isolated problem.
everything we did as JWs was for that reward. it was the carrot dangled on the stick and it worked so well! the thing that bothers me most now is how obvious it is that the reward was already ours, as a grand gift of grace. JWs do not like the term or the concept of grace. as funny as it is at least to me, my grandmother was named Grace and she was a saint who loved her kids, even the ones who were on the outs. my mother resented that to the day grandma passed, she found fault with her own mother. JWs take away the gift of salvation and make members think they have to continually earn it. of course this means buying it back from the cult leaders by constantly following their ever-moving light without question.
