We just finished studying church history from the Reformation of until today in our Sunday school class. It was such an eye-opener to how we got into the mess we are in today and how the Cults of the Restorationist Movement got started. There was a day where they did a whole class on just the Cults and our pastor was so kind as to have me look over his notes to make sure that he represented the Jehovah's Witnesses correctly. Such humility!
I've said it many times, but I am so grateful for the work you two put into digging into Jehovah's Witnesses still! Praise the lord!

I have been thinking Arius has influenced watchtowers corrupted version of Christianity. About your statement on “woke culture”, so true.

Yes! They were definitely influenced by arius! If you really dive into the cults, all they are are a regurgitation of the ancient heresies that the true church already put to bed

Wow, yes, if they (WT) can't even say their sorry to their congregation for getting things wrong,,, I bet they hadn't ever repented of anything to our Heavenly Father either. I'm so thankful my husband broke free of this by God's grace. I wish I could get others to see in his family. They won't listen to anything we try to show them.
.. I will be adding them all to my prayers over this in the morning. Ty for this video. I never thought of it in this way..

7:07 Great comment on wokeism....now the whole world has become like a cult. So true.

The word cult is losing its meaning because of comments like this. Of course the whole world is not a cult 🤨

@@grapevinez6026 No, but the majority of humans are asleep as to how the world really operates and the woke agenda captivates so many people. As far as so called Christianity is concerned, it is very cult like....all denominations. The apostle John wrote about it in the book of 1st John. Please read it for yourself, and don’t be fooled by mere lip service. (Matt.7:21-23)

Im not a JW but why not study the Bible to find out what it's really saying instead of criticizing other churches to try to make yourself feel or look better or superior? Instead of pulling verses out of Revelation willy/nilly and applying them to someone today (I assume you are quoting from Rev 3:17) why not try to find out what Revelation is really about?
Yes, there are lessons in Revelation for the church today but who is John primarily writing to? It's the 7 churches which existed in the 1st century (Rev 1:4) and things which "were soon" to happen ("shortly take place" - Rev 1:2) and ("the time is near" - Rev 1:3). They were called the "first fruits" believers (Rev 14:4). The end of the world (age) was coming at that time.
Revelation 18:4 says, "....Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues." What do you think this is talking about? Who or what do you think Babylon, the harlot city is? Revelation 11:8 says, "...the great city which spiritually (symbolically) is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." Jesus was not crucified in Rome or Russia or anyplace else than Jerusalem. Babylon, the harlot city was apostate Israel, the part of Israel who did not accept the Gospel and was persecuting the church (Christians). It was destroyed in 70AD because of the "plagues" which came upon them in the form of the Roman armies (Like 21:20). (nkjv used for quotes here)

3:22 in a few decades a random spill of sand onto a parking lot is "undobtedly proof of Jehovah's blessing". The sheer narcissism of Watchtower bothered me even when I was fully a believer. They are much more boastful than the verses quoted or than what the pharisees were saying. We are the truth, nobody like us, we are only true religion and nothing can chage that, bragging about printing presses, about languages of translation, the printed volume, now the website supposed popularity etc etc etc.
Evolution is a scentific fact. In 2024, with all the evidence we have to deny that is willful ignorance.
I'm unsubscribing because your brilliant critique of Watchtower is compensated with utter blindness to rightful criticism of the Bible in general. You literally set out to keep believing and then voila, what a wonder, there's a reason to, some dusty 50 year old book containing secret knowledge that all the scientists in the world cannot grasp.
