- Letecia Stauch is accused of killing her stepson Gannon Stauch in January 2020.
Gannon, 11, was reported missing from his Lorson Ranch neighborhood on Jan. 27, 2020, leading to a huge statewide search for the boy. His remains were found inside a suitcase under a bridge in northwestern Florida in March 2020, about six weeks after Letecia Stauch's trip there.
An autopsy showed that Gannon had been shot and stabbed, and he appeared to have defensive wounds on his hands, according to court testimony.

The judge ripping Letecia a new one, with decorum, is so delightful.
The judge is politely telling Letecia about her despicable, horrific, deceitful, habitual lying, insulting, manipulative, abusive, hateful, jealous, envious, insecure, inferior, ungrateful, lazy, self indulging, personality. The good thing it she cannot speak, she has to sit and listen. She will never forget his words against her!
I _do_ wish he would've shackled her hands under the table and made her wear her hair back so she couldn't hide her dumb ass behind it.
I would've _LOVED_ to see her terribly uncontrollable and unable to pull her dick moves but I fully understand why Judge may have felt limited.
Yes, flipping the bird is not a good idea when you're on a murder trial.

I love how the judge addressed the defendant’s actions (lewd gestures). She may think this helps her case of insanity. It does not. The jury will see it as highly disrespectful to the witnesses and the family of the victim. That will never work in her favor.
I saw the screen shots of her doing this but who was on the stand at that time? I missed that?

Everything that has happened to Harley in her life, due to Letecia, is also it’s own form of abuse. The emotional manipulation, the gaslighting, the lies, the men in and out of her life. What L wanted, she got, or she made everyone’s life a living hell. I pray Harley gets some serious counseling, to begin undoing all this trauma and abuse.
Whether or not she knew, I believe she was in survival mode. If she knew, she may have been in fear for her life, knowing her mother just killed her little brother. She may be in fear while testifying, because what if L is found not guilty? Who protects her then?
I can’t judge her, she was a minor child living with a lunatic mother.
I do blame L for putting her daughter, Gannon’s parents, and everyone else through this trial. She is reprehensible.
Harley didn’t know her mom killed her little brother. And I don’t think Harley had as much affection for Gannon as you would think she would. (Being his big sister and all) but on her phone calls to her mom…..she never shows concern for Gannon. When Letecia told her about the fire, all Harley could think to worry about was her dogs. Tecia kept saying…..”no, I didn’t say the dogs”. And all Harley could manage to say was….”the dogs got burned??” Um no, Gannon got burned. Then her reaction isn’t “omg, is he ok???” Her response was….”how did he start a fire?” That is not the response you’d get from a “loving big step sister”. She’s just like her mom. Only prettier.
If you listen to the jailhouse calls, Latecia is awful to Harley in one of them. Harley sold some of her clothes and Latecia flipped out and told her she can't call her mom anymore
Her being the last person to rise when asked is such a narcissistic thing to do. It's like she still thinks, "No one is going to tell ME what and when to do it" she is horrible. Hope the jail reports all the terrible things that inevitably happen to her so we can know she is getting her payback here on earth.

I wish people would be a bit more understanding about Harley, she's so young. It's her mother and most people who have respect, will do what they can to please your mother. You'd also be a bit fearful about going against your mother. But she's done the right thing in a horrible, scary situation. This will follow her for the rest of her life. I know she’s scared about going against her Mother. However, I do believe she knew more than she let on. She even refused to answer questions from the Detectives when they came in and asked her about Gannon. Detective Perry for one.
This daughter was on the team, the "Let's be mean and horrible to Gannon Team." Tees and her daughter are alike and both together on this sadistic murder of precious little Gannon , who was treated by them with disdain, contempt and utmost cruelty. I agree, of course she is. Harley, Laina, and most especially Gannon are her biggest victims. They were children, even if and when they could see her manipulative and cruel behaviors, they knew they were children and there was nothing they could do. Whatever the adults decided, was what will be. None of them had a say, being literal children as well as being under the rule of an abuser.
Those commenting that she is covering for her mom should think that she was 17 there was something weird going on and she was def manipulated by her mom. She cant remember because there was probably so much going on and she probably had to listen to her mom talk in circles constantly.

Dang.. Letecia takes Lania and the dogs outside to be safe from the fire.. not Gannon. She sends Hayley pictures of the COUCH being burnt, not of the burns to Gannons arms. Very telling of what she valued and where Gannon came in her peckng order of importance..
This poor girl was manipulated by her mother. The more she tells her story, you can see the moments where her mom takes advantage of her loyalty and love. Harley looks back and can see things for what they really were, but in the moment you can tell she was oblivious and just trusted her mom.
She's a young woman, not a poor girl...
I save my compassion for Gannon, not his sister who knew something was very wrong.

The only thing that puzzles me, is as a former hospice nurse I had to sit with Many dead patients at time for hours until the morgue came , it smelled ,it will get you sick, you’ll never forget it and it is the most horrible smell. How you can be in a car for all those days in that heat and not smell that body is not true or possible.

I definitely know what death smells like in many forms. From illness, from accident and also someone who had drown and wasn’t found for months. They all smell a bit different/different levels of pungency. The manner in which this sweet boy passed IMO would be the easiest to cover. How in the hell she didn’t notice something?!? Idk, I wasn’t there. I also believe that she would’ve been charged if she even hinted that she suspected a scent and didn’t report it. That probably plays a part here. In addition to, he having been manipulated and gaslit her whole life, not only that, she may have been afraid she would be next. I can tell you this, We will never know the full truth, unless she gets full immunity and is paid for the story (I don’t blame her tbh). But the bottom line is SHE IS INNOCENT OF WRONG DOING. She is scarred for life now, has no one and will forever be tormented by this. Good for her for not say that she loved her mother when asked.
Sat there with her middle finger stuck out across her face whilst the judge admonishes her, in the most empathic, yet firm way possible. I love this judge, he’s so measured. He’s told her not to have one finger more prominent than the other, whilst she’s doing it. I guess if she carries on she’ll find her hands under the table.

Did you notice while her daughter was testifying in the last half she kept flipping her off. It was more subtle than before but she was definitely doing it. I hope the judge is made aware of this or seen her and deals with her in the morning.

She wasn't a kid. She was 17 and is like 21 now. Harley is an adult she SHOULD have done the right thing and not protected Tecia. I 100% believe Harley knew Gannon was in that suitcase. There is NO way she sat for HOURS in a car with a heavily decayed body and didn't know it was there. The smell alone would cling to your hair and clothes like cigarette smoke. And Tecia's brother testified that the suitcase was so heavy Tecia was having trouble just transferring it to another car. There's no way Tecia picked that suitcase up and threw it over the railing of a bridge by herself. I hundred percent believe Harley helped her. I do not believe Harley is a good person because she's continuing to protect her mom KNOWING she's guilty. AND I heard Harley lied and scammed a bunch of people out of hundreds of dollars on GoFundMe. I think she's exactly like her wicked mother. A habitual liar. She isn't a child. She's an adult

Why do I feel like Harley is trying to tell the truth, while at the same time not implicate herself or her mother further? Traumatic or major events in my life even 10 to 15 years down the road I remember a majority of the details about those events. I am 40 now and I did a lot of drinking and smoked a lot of pot through out my high school years and I still remember a lot from those years. Her saying “I don’t know”to a lot of things doesn’t feel right. I don’t think that she was complicit in the actual murder but I’m not sure about the aftermath and the disposal of his remains. I can’t tell if her hesitation is because she truly doesn’t remember or if she still wants to protect her mom or if she knew what she did from the beginning.
She seems to go along with all the humiliating text messages . She knew far more than she’s letting on. Harley was just as mean and jealous of Gannon like her mother was .

This monster has destroyed the life of Everyone around her, and still she’ll take pot shots flipping off witnesses, tried to escape and assaulted an officer while being transported! She’s going to find boundaries, she obviously desperately needed and never learned during her life, when she goes to prison; they have their own form of justice there.She won’t be treating other people that way in prison, or she won’t be alive for very much longer.
Letecia doesn't even look at her daughter when Harley walks into court. Then shows no emotion to Harley having to go thru this testimony. The women hasn't even seen her daughter in 3 years.
Sending all these text messages to her daughter about Gannon supposedly doing this and that makes me believe they were both mean to Gannon . Letecia was overdosing Gannon on laxative just so he will have accidents in his pants and have something to humiliate him about . Harley wasn’t so afraid she was old enough and was working . She knew what her mother was doing was wrong but she choose to go along with it . I couldn’t care less about this lying pitiful thing on the stand . She’s definitely carrying her mother’s traits .
So glad the judge is addressing this the way he is. Very stern. She needed that apparently more than just at this time in her life. Sadly she didn't get help before it was too late.

I'll def find a time stamp for you as soon as I find it. Even the Judge said in his statement admonishment that she is now in full line of site. I DID see her throw up the rock horns ( also recognized as the Devil sign) when she first sat down before the jury. I think the Judge nailed it when he recognized that she was so belligerent and oppositional defiant that she had to fake an Ozzy move to show how much she didn't care. My opinion is Harley is too terrified of her Mom to speak the truth. So she claims not to remember so she does not betray her Mom. Remember her Mom has controlled Harley her entire life. I have a hunch she murdered her ex husband now that I hear he over doses and Leticia lied to Harley about how he died. I wonder if he was cremated or buried? If buried they should exhume his body. I have a strong gut feeling he was murdered. I feel badly for Harley. Yet understand she is too terrified to tell the truth on certain questions. This being said nobody should be shaming or blaming Harley. I understand the type of control her Mom had on her. Sadly my Mom is the same and my Mom murders her husband many years ago. Friday I saw Leticia flipping people off numerous times and I wondered why nobody mentioned this until the end of the court day. It was very evident she was flipping numerous people off throughout the trial. I am glad the judge made it a point to let her have it. And moved Leticia in the judges sight line. Does anybody happen to know why Leticia was put in that corner by herself and away from her lawyers and everybody? I have never seen this before and found it very odd.

I feel like Harley is being honest, of course it’s always a possibility she is holding back but she was honest about her mom’s behaviors like how she didn’t like being home alone with the kids, how she never saw Gannon light candles and how her mom would bring Harley into fights. I also just think Harley is nervous and it was things that happened along time ago along with traumatic events, which some people have vivid memories of trauma and some people block it out.
Everyone needs to remember Harley was 17, she was still a kid and she cannot help who her mother is, she didn’t have her father. When I was young I would’ve believed anything my mother told me. Her mom clearly was lying to her as well when you read the text messages and it doesn’t surprise me because letecia is lying to Everyone including herself.

I’m sorry but isn’t it strange that Gannon slept in a basement in the cold while everyone slept upstairs? The basement windows kept open to air out the house = cold weather in colorado to keep a dead body from decomposing as fast? And the fact she made her daughter go downstairs to say goodnight - could this be building her alibi? “See others saw Gannon was alive and in bed the night before” ?? I don’t know this seems so strange to me. So many things don’t make sense in this case with the timeline. Gannon on the neighbors video in the morning but not the afternoon contradicts him being murdered in his bed, IMO. How could he walk out the house if he lost so much blood? I don’t know if we will ever know for sure what happened and what the real timeline is.

The end of last week, one of the jurors claimed to know one of the expert witnesses. The judge planned to decide over the weekend whether to let her go or not. I’m guessing this was the juror who was released, but I’m not 100% positive.
The juror’s parents and she had acted in a Pastoral manner to the expert witnesses Mother. That was the gun experts mother. They had spent several hours together in that capacity.

Then when they was transferring all her stuff from one van to the other van, he saw the suitcase but didn’t remember seeing it when they was at the house with the police.

She kept him from school because of the burns and because she killed him. He probably was dead the 26th evening. 😞 So sad
