@MaureenHalleran He outshined everyone on his team. If the other two had even half the imagination he has, they would have destroyed the competition. But, it was on his talent alone that they made it to the end.
there was a pumpkin carving contest at my school, one of the pumpkins wasn't carved, instead it had on a pair of big glasses and then i sign that said "being carved is too mainstream", hipster pumpkins ftw.
@LyadinDima All of those pumpkins decay and mold in less than 1 week. The photo becomes the artwork. He hasn't found out any good way to preserve them.
Very cool story and I love how Steve Hartman ties it back into teaching younger kids at the end. Very well written.
