- We board the beautiful Viking Cruises Viking Venus cruise ship for the first day of our 7 night British Isles Voyage. We show you what it was like cruising after COVID and what things were required post-pandemic - such as testing. We are so pleased that cruise has restarted. We then take you on a tour of the whole cruise ship and cabins including a Veranda Suite, Deluxe Veranda Suite, Penthouse Veranda Suite, Penthouse Junior Suite, and the amazing Explorer Suite! We cap the day off with the most amazing meal and evening onboard, join us on our epic cruise adventure!

This is the first 'cruise channel' I ever watched, and now I can't watch anyone else 😂 love you guys.
There isn’t enough space to re-write all the funny reviews of your dinner items! You guys are SO funny! 😂. What a difference from your last MSC cruise. You look so happy.
We boarded the Venus on 29 May. Like all Viking ships she is beautiful. Every crew member we encountered was charming and helpful. Lastly, there is no casino, no art auctions, no photographer, no shop sales tables - hurrah!

Ooh! I am an RC girl, but this looks amazing. I must research! You get so excited, just like I do. I love stepping onto the ship and exploring! Have a wonderful trip and forget MSC. Yes, their decor is fabulous, but they value style over content.
We are RC lovers too, so interesting to see other cruises

Absolutely beautiful cabin the decor is lovely and beautifully decked out and the ship looks beautiful too and looks like it has the Scandinavian furniture it is nice and light as well. Glad that you guys are sharing your videos with all of us love those and they make me feel feel happy 😊

Thanks Guys - this was beautiful. We've been doing Celebrity the last few years, but this truly seems to be a step above and truly ALL inclusive. The price tag may be a little more expensive, but in the end looks like you get what you pay for and we are at that stage in our life where we want quality not quantity. Viking, here we come.
We’ve done Celebrity also, and thinking about Silversea, Viking, Azaramara. This blew me away! Very informative, and the food reviews made me smile. Showing this to my husband,:)
@@donnarottinger6396 Just loving the TRUE all inclusiveness and high-end 'feel' Viking seems to be offering. We are looking into cruising with them next May in Europe
at first glance, Viking looks good - but if you're used to Celebrity, don't change - our experience on Viking was awful in just about every way - better alternatives are Ponant if you like ships with great style and special destinations, or Azamara intensive destinations and great comfort (not the most modern ships, though)

My favorite line is Viking and watching you do the ship tour is really wonderful. We were booked on the Venus in July in the Baltic before it was cancelled. We absolutely love the Explorer's Lounge any time of day or night, beautiful scenery and a great place at night to have a drink and relax. I love the food and specialty restaurants on board and usually eat in Manfredi's at least every other night. The food on Viking is always amazing, never had a bad moment on Viking in four cruises.
Totally agree, Explorer's Lounge it is. Upper level, middle L-shaped sofa. I'm already worried about our 2023 Tokyo-Vancouver cruise on the Orion. I think the planetariums are a waste of prime real estate on deck 8 AND deck 9. Any experiences?
@@grossermichl We sailed on the Orion in 2019 in Australia and New Zealand and it was great. I really liked the planetarium since we has an astro physicist on board as the presenter of all things having to do with the sky etc. We used the planetarium two or three times for that and then they also showed some special showings of nature programs. I was really surprised when I first saw the planetarium, but, it turned out well.

That was an absolutely amazing tour🛳 I cruise every year and because of this pandemic, the plans have been put on hold. Whilst we still have to take precautions, we can start to get back to doing what we love😊
First, you both are my go-to guys for anything on cruises. I LOVED the Viking video and in particular your food evaluation. OMG! Now, all I need is a cruise buddy to avoid the cost of going single.

My husband and I had the same reaction when we first tasted that Jalapeño corn bread. LOL. Someday, we will be back on Viking cruising the fjords this time. Last time was Austalia and New Zealand, best cruise we have ever had. For now I will live vicariously through your upcoming vlogs. LOL.
