Trousers are i think really tricky, find an old bed sheet and make them up, at least you will know it the rise is right and a general fit. Can adjust here and there, eventually you will get a good fit and the off you go in trouser making. The corduroy is fabulous.. what a fab colour.

Fellow Hoosier here!!! The pants in the first pattern are super wide legged, just fair notice. I tapered mine in. I’ve made a few pair from that pattern plus several shirts.

Wow that pink corduroy is fab! Now that I have my one pants pattern fitting me, I don't see a need to try any others haha! But I can make it in so many different fabrics. I love the idea of pink cord pants - those are going to be fantastic - can't wait to see them!

I did sew the pants and I love them! I have worn them in a couple videos, if it wasn't so hot out I'd wear them again soon. Keep an eye out, I'll look for a pic to post on Minerva.com or my Instagram. Thank you for watching and asking!
Be sure to cut your pattern pieces all in the same direction...corduroy has a nap and if you cut it wrong it is very noticeable .

Your nieces don’t come to you with an example and ask you if you can sew that dress for them? Next up you will be sewing prom dresses for them.
They really don’t often, I just enjoy making them clothes….still have to make a yellow Malificent dress though, that was a request!
@@onelisashow That sounds lovely. My older sister made me a sort of fairytail dress when I was young. I had made the drawing and she pieced it together. It’s something I will never forget. So you create unforgettable memories for your nieces. Very valuable.
