Oh my god thank you for this, its crazy to me that with all this availability of information that its so hard to find people actually talking about this stuff, doesn't help that many of these publishers refuse to have visible samples/extracts/photos of the contents. I recently bought a copy of Orlando Innamorato not realising that the paperback I cheaped out on didn't have the original Italian in parallel, it was only in the hardcover, even though the are almost identical, a video like this is a goldmine just for being able to see these books before purchasing alone.
Thanks. Yes that’s often true for the paperbacks.
yea, it baffles me how they don't always show or tell exactly if it's a side by side and in what language
That symbol for Villa I Tatti at the back of the book could be a honeybee pollinating a flower!
I think bees are shaped different it seems like a moth to me for some reason.
Hey Tim, you know one day I woke up and thought I want to be a polymath and then research on key geniuses through out the ages and learning of the renaissance led me down a pipe line. I'm glad I got exposed to your content as it is aiding me with clarifying unknown unknowns haha. The first video I saw from you was the John Taylor Gatto one and that left a deep impression on me.
Hush - you’re detracting (ironically & perhaps conveniently) from bison vs buffalo.
unison>bison
Good to hear from you, yea that Gatto book is great. I'm going to be doing more on the homeschooling stuff. Make sure you're on my newsletter for more on that. If you're interested in the Renaissance Man course you can email me at support@timothykenny.com for more info on that.

Waiting for the chinese one. I like these.
Me too! I've been trying to learn Classical Chinese and I'm looking for good parallel text editions
Coming soon
I’m also teaching a course this year on how to learn Chinese to be able to read these kind of classic texts. If you are interested please email support@timothykenny.com for more info.
Do these come in different shades of blue? I noticed different covers. What is the distinction between the types of blue?
Should I get the Renaissance, Classical and Medieval Libraries or get the GBWW? which has more and better content.
Please email me at timothy@timothykenny.com about this.
