Put this song into the UK Top 40 Hits!!! So Brilliant!
very creative, and also very accurate.
This is the area precisely described in less than five minutes. Bravo SNN!
brilliant
for one who lives and was born, raised and works in southend, this really does wonders for advertising!. as for the lyrics, the're really aving a laugh..., ooh, forgot don't forget to update the better Queensway flats rebuild, starts in 2020....
I live in herne bay and our pier was really long as well but got smashed up in the 70s and now only about 1/5 of it actually excists and we stand on the end of the short bit that’s left and we look out to the cafe out at sea and say “I wonder how many mor winters it’ll last” remember it’s been out there since before the 70s
When I was a kid, to me , the Kurssal was my fav place. So many happy memories. Mums favourite was the water chute. And what was the proper name of that little boat ride that used to go what seemed like caverns. Loved it.
Absolutely amazing!
hello Leah, do you know who sings this ?
R.I.P. Sir David Amess died in service 15th October 2021, as the Conservative MP for Southend West.

Well done..used to go in the 1960`s....
What a terrific and VERY imaginative video. Well done. And Southend is STILL a good place to visit and the trip along the pier worth taking (either walking or train). Thanks for posting.
Self isolating in Westcliff. This is making me nostalgic. Still brilliant and hilarious though

And the follow up song "Eastbourne: Our Pier is ALWAYS on fire" :D
And finally, ''Herne Bay: Our Pier is NEVER on fire'' :DDD
Coming Soon - Gravesend, our pier is always closed ☺
Hastings, our pier is always warped.
Brighton
We lost a pier to fire
Walton
We have a pier?
Needs a new verse:
Kids fountains go up and down
The lift don't always go to town
Have a meal and glass of vino
Lose your cash at the casino
Try to dodge the bikes and prams
Like Blackpool without the trams
Even the pubs catch fire
It's a bleeding joke
Just look at all the smoke
Great song
agreed
Great I'm Homesick LOL
_tune_
So true :-)
We can hear your bloody shoe buryness down here in north Kent!
CAN anyone tells me who sings this - its brilliant !
Damn
Yeah, this sounds about right lol. Well done for the lyrics. Also why is this so catchy?
very clever
Excellent work, especially as my name is Dave and I was born at Rochford Hospital... It's just a shame it was sung by someone with a local accent..
Technically, Mile and a Third. A mile and a quarter is 1.25, not 1.333 (1.3 or 1.4).
SUFC
I was looking on the board outside the training ground to see when the next league home game was and they hadn't put it up yet... You don't know when the next league home game is do you..?
I liked Brighton Pier.
