- Most Haunted, the first Ghost Hunting show. The show that influenced a generation of paranormal enthusiasm for good or for bad.
Most Haunted seem to be untouchable for debunkers. But I don't care. so join me as I pick apart faked ghosts, fake mediums and fake poltergeist activity.

I remember a live show where Derek becomes “possessed” by a spirit. Started rambling but somehow managed to hand his umbrella over to someone mid-possession 😂
You mean I spent my time shouting "The power of Christ COMPELS you" at the tv and it didn't actually work? I feel so betrayed...
I remember his speaking to his spirit guide saying Mary loves dick
Mary loves dick.... but she ain't too keen on this umbrella
Derek is a false medium thats why he was fired
You are fake
you forgot the greatest most haunted moment, when evette asked "is anybody there, knock once for yes and twice for no", and there was 2 knocks .
In fairness if I was a ghost I'd do that.
@@incredibleflameboy I'd knock three just for the haunting lols :D
Thats made my day thank you
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I use to love watching that show, especially when Derek would get possessed almost every episode, & I have to admit that I still watch the reruns when they pop up from time to time just for a bit of a chuckle...lol
Derek was a fake medium thats why they fired him
@@supersaiyanjack9233lol Derek was a fake medium who asked for too much money and had been OUTED as a fake in public lol
When Derek would get possessed that is when I called bullshit
Thank you!! I’ve worked with people who used to work with the show. 20 odd years they’ve been “investigating” the paranormal, Yvette STILL screams like a banshee every time something happens. And then there’s the fact they don’t put any evidence on that doesn’t have Yvette or Karl in the shot. They’re the one that are doing the biggest damage to us paranormal investigators. They’re after the money and the game. But the worst bit? The fact that people are still gullible enough to believe the crap they put out there.
The Mary loves Dick is still hilarious 😂. I did fall for it and loved the programme but then it did get silly and I gave up on it. Well done Beardo ❤
The only factual statement on the show. 😢
Mary loves dick was iconic 😂
I loved Most Haunted back in the day but it really did get more and more unbelievable. I'm glad you covered this💟
Glad you enjoyed it!
Am glad that beardo had the balls to call them out, nobody else has as far as I know
i think it coincided with stu and karl becoming more prominent on the show. whenever they appeared something was bound to happen
I've never believed in any of that witchcraft stuff, or white witch fakery. I don't want to ever get involved in this kind of thing. Leave people to rest in peace. And honestly, Yvette Fielding is so dramatic. She would have a difficult time reeling in the younger people of today, about all of this summoning ghosts. It's all bs anyway.
I'm a sceptic, and fully aware the show had a few fake bits. But the thing is I still love watching MH. I grew up with it; me and mum would watch it on Living TV, hiding behind cushions :D I like the music, the filming, the history and most of the cast. Call it a guilty pleasure but its just so nostalgic to watch, and the new/extra episodes on their official channel are quite good
Same here, its not whether it's all true or false, it's the atmosphere and entertainment that does it for me.
Me three! 🙋🏾♀️ I shamelessly love the show, have watched from the beginning, and think it's at times hilarious, and at times chilling.... Love, love, love it fake or real 😁
I think they genuinely want to know and investigate - what happened back in the day, with unscrupulous TV Companies involved, I don't know - but since doing their own thing on CZcams? I'm even more intrigued 🤷🏽♀️
They also took a sharp knife into 30 East Drive, and stuck it upright in between two of the cushions on the sofa. This infuriated the owner as sharp knives are banned from East Drive. They were soon kicked out after this and told not to come back. Great video 👍
@@Sara-f It's easy to give yourself a really horrible burn mark like they had if one person ties some string or rope around your arm and pulls either end.
There was also an moment when Carl claims he was pulled up the stairs but he had a small rope tied round his waist and who was behind him...Stewart. Those two made me realise as time went on with MH that it was faked ...it was always Carl and Stewart faking activity
Yvette has earned her blue Peter badge for the worst fake paranormal investigator of all time 😂
lmao
Made with sticky backed plastic!🤣
😂
Just here for the comments 🤣 🙌
Much like their "paranormal evidence"... "Here's one she made earlier!" 😂
I went to their very first investigation as I lived in a village near Hailsham and was Invited by friends to head to Michelham Priory and met Derek and Yvette and we watched the whole investigation live on a big screen as they went around. it was great at the time and then as you got older you start to think WTF why did i fall for this but it was good for the entertainment value at the time. great video mate.
I was in the audience at the Live Most Haunted From Stratford Upon Avon back in 2014. Great fun.
We did a charity paranormal night at Michelham Priory just after they went and recorded. The owner wasn't going to let us do the event because of MH faking of a chair moving. The organiser managed to convince him and he actually walked around with (although we never knew it) and he said he would never allow them back. They had given paranormal investigating a back name
I was a senior paranormal investigator for a large group around the time this show was popular. Getting new members in was a nightmare as they were all fans of this show and were expecting all kinds of crap to kick off like you see in the show. There was no balance to what they (thought they) experienced, if a floorboard creaked, that was proof as far as they were concerned and it was nightmare trying to explain that the heating had just gone off and was most likely wood contracting as it cooled. A good investigator always looks for a rational explanation no matter what they want to believe. It was an absolute circus. I left after a few years, not done anything for ten years now, I got sick of it. The show is an utter farce. A genuine investigation is nothing like what you see here.
I didn't watch this show much for that reason. I don't know which season it was or anything, I just remember a creaking sound while they were walking and seeing them get all excited about it. The show was just too over-the-top for me so I never bothered with it outside of a couple of episodes once I discovered it.
I agree i believe i have seen ghosts but it's normally unexpected i always found the knocking thing funny ghosts are supposed to be sentient i honestly don't believe they just sat waiting in the dark for someone to maybe knock on a wall so they can do some ghost morse code
I couldn't give a shit HOW boring paranormal investigating gets, NEVER EVER FAKE AN INVESTIGATION FOR ENTERTAINMENT!!!!
Always record as the eye sees it! Simple!
Yep and there are only a tiny few that do just that and of course they don't get the views or subscribers the fakers get. It is almost like people prefer the fakery over the real deal.
I agree, as someone who has done a fair few investigations there are many times that we have got nothing in the evening
Well done Beardo! This episode is so informative and really lays out how the faking is done 👏🏻

I only watched most haunted to see how long it would be until yavette would start screaming or Derek Acora would become possessed 😂😂 I was never disappointed
Great video. Absolutely loved Most Haunted growing up, never missed a show and the Most Haunted Lives were a big event in our household 😄 I too was done with them when I saw that 30 east drive live.
I used to love MH! I already knew it was entertainment purposes only and never genuine, but what can I say we all have guilty pleasures. As someone who is a Psychology/Parapsychology student, I can't even watch for entertainment purposes only without getting mad 😂
The real reason Derek got "fired" was because he was far more popular than Yvette ever will be. The TV execs wanted more Derek and Yvette wasn't having that, it was HER show.
Well he certainly got more laughs than her.
Evie loves money (cough)
Plus Derek got caught kicking the furniture 😂
He then went on to do that awful haunted items programme, now that was cringe 😮
@@clairewall did you ever see the Michael Jackson's hat one? that was like a comedy sketch.
Your best episode ever, in my opinion. Been wanting someone to highlight and compile all the fakery in one show for years. Theres enough fake material from them to do a Part 2!
True story 🙌
Facts!!!
I hate that they tainted real ghost hunts. Every time I watch one I’m always thinking to myself, “is this fake?” I like your hunts because you actually debunk sounds. Good video man
We remember watching a live episode and Yvette said the place was lovely Derek replied it was lovely and he had never been there before. Unfortunately on the SyFy channel an hour before the show started Derek was on an American show where he was showing other mediums and paranormal investigators around the same place. When he was telling them the history someone asked him how he remembered so much, he told her I remember everywhere I go as I have a photographic memory. That was the night we stopped watching.
Lol. Derek told on himself. 😂
Yes how many times was Karl caught throwing and grabbing people and they had the nerve to call Derek a fake, takes one to know one. That Episode the one with the band in you will see where Karl grab Cath by the legs 🦵
Yes 👍🏻 😂
Actually see him throw stuff. They self-harm then blame ghosts but no-one see's the major issues there
I remember Linda the episode where Karl was seen grabbing Kath's legs. He did that over the years two or three times if I recall. For me, the minute Karl Beattie decided to be in front of the camera rather than behind it, it ruined the show.
Oh god! That rope around the waist thing! I watched that and sat there shaking my head 😂
Good video Beardo 😊
@Sara-f It was that one that made me question it all. Because it was Yvette, I really wanted to believe it all. I carried on watching the show though.
It was interesting that shortly before Living TV dropped MH, and right after Yvette was caught kicking the bucket on a live event (no, not dying but literally she kicked a metal bucket and claimed a ghost had done it not realising she was fully in shot), she announced she was leaving MH to pursue other ventures. One paper wrote she was simply abandoning a sinking ship, and i think thats spot on. Later when asked why she had left she gave a different story citing that too many ghouls had followed her home from locations and she was now far too haunted to continue most haunted.
The serious side of this is, they marketed their show as a genuine investigation and not simply for entertainment purposes. With such blatent fakery that many a viewer would have been duped into buying, MH should have been hit with a huge fine as a warning to other con artists against this kinda thing. Karl Beatie's production company that produces MH is Antix Productions...i guess he was giving us a clue as to what he was up to.
Speaking of Beatie, he has been so outspoken against mediums claiming their all fake, and for the most part, he's right. But, coming from him, kettle and teapot.
The big fall came when they had their media designation changed from documentary to "for entertainment purposes"
This is so true.
I loved Most Haunted back in the day too. Even got filmed in Bodmin Gaol for a feature for one of their lives doing a little investigation. Looking back on it I can’t believe I took it all at face value. Saw the light years ago thank goodness. Watched a more recent episode out of interest & Stuart was clearly throwing coins. It’s all def for entertainment purposes only & that’s stretching it! Great video as ever Beardo.
Absolutely bloody amazing!! So glad you did it! I just want to rewatch loads now to see what I can spot!!
Loved most haunted, believed in them aswell, then one day I realised they were fake, one of the guys (Stewart I think his name was) who goes off filming mentioned in one of the programs that he use to do metal detecting which was good to hear as I did as well, well on one of the shows he was off filming alone and suddenly had coins chucked at him, nothing unusual in that I guess, thing is these weren't any old coins these were hammered silver coins, and are rather valuable and rare, when he picked it up he didn't really seem surprised which had he been a detectorist like he said he was he'd definitely reacted in total shock at what had been thrown at him, he then goes on and asks for the ghost to do it again, sure enough another one appears, now these coins are worth anywhere of £100 pounds upwards, if I'd been him I'd be asking for more and more and be in complete melt down as to what was being chucked my way, yet he didn't really seem that bothered which indicates to me it was him chucking them, you also have to remember these coins are rare, the only place you find them is in farmers field by using a metal detector.....strange that isn't it as he goes metal detecting.
That is brilliant
keep an eye on stu its always him along with karl
Absolutely brilliant debunking @Beardo! I used to be a fan of them too, they were entertaining when they first aired, especially when they gave the history of the locations they visited. Got to see what they're really like though, due to how they treat their fans online, such toxicity.
Hope you and Mrs Geek are having a great night.

Thanks for talking about Most Haunted. I'm ashamed to say that years ago I used to record every show and say how good it was that a TV programme dealt with the paranormal.
These days you couldn't pay me enough to watch that drivel !
It makes me angry because it ruins it for those of us that have a genuine interest in the paranormal. It also makes it harder for the genuine paranormal investigators to get the message across that the paranormal is real.
Programmes such as this are an insult to people's intelligence. They have no interest in proving that ghostly phenomenon exist only in boosting their ratings!
Please do keep up your good work of exposing the fakers.
Kieran is a legend and I respect his integrity ♥
I watched their 30 east drive video and they were all scared out of their wits 😂 it was rather funny tbh!
It's crazy to me that people believe this absolute bullocks and also maddening that they keep pushing the narrative that it's real paranormal activity.
I'll stick to my boys the Ouija Brothers for legitimate investigations
Thanks for another good video Beardo

@@DanielKing-dk5nr I met Ciaran once, I always admired his input in these shows but he was rude and dismissive to me when I asked him a simple question. He lost a fan that night.
I'm just about to watch your video, but I wanted to leave a comment because my daughter just walked in the room, saw you (Beardo) on the screen and said, "He looks kind." I just wanted to share that with you. xx
That is awesome! Tell her thsnk you very much
@@beardogetsscared I just did and she's very touched! Thank you, Beardo - you are very kind indeed xx
Kreed Kafer and Rik Eedles were the names of the fake "Ghosts" fed by Kieran, however when Derek got possessed by them, it really sealed his fate. Just like yourself, back in the early days, I was taken in before I started to question things. I used to run my own Paranormal investigation group and the majority of the times, nothing happened during the evenings. I even investigated Fred Batts house (The Clockhouse) and met Karl Beattie during the same evening. We used to investigate Caesars nightclub quite often and got a few interesting things on camera but nothing definitive. As for Most Haunted, I stopped watching after about 5-6 years. We heard from behind the scenes, Richard Felix had the nickname "Fingers Felix" because he used to throw a lot of stuff around behind the cameras. I'm not surprised Fred Batt got caught on camera doing exactly the same thing.
Thanks Beardo. I really appreciate you putting this up.i laughed out loud at some of it. Nice to be able to scrutinise some of the older stuff👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
5:20 stop... this is so obvious 😂
She thought she was off camera... who ever was filming wanted her to be caught faking 😂
I used to watch, had all the DVDs and the Lives were an occasion in our house. I was absolutely disgusted by the way they treated Derek Acorah. I saw him once in a show at our local theatre and he was very good and such a nice man. He didn't deserve the way they spoke about him and the curt insincere comments they made upon his death really angered me.
Couple that with Stuart so obviously faking everything made me decide to stop watching. I found him irritating, it was all so blatant.
After my mums death in 2005, I have to admit the show got me through the grief because it gave me hope that her spirit lived on and so I have to thank them for that I suppose. I still believe there is an afterlife due to personal experiences, but I no longer believe Most Haunted had access to that.
He’s a fraud also. He got found out!
The way they treated Derek was disgusting as Carl is doing the same thing on most episodes now he is supposed to have passed out and stopped breathing l like you use to enjoy it but after seeing the cheating tricks they do that’s me finished with it
@@mikecarr8915Yes he was , apparently he always used to ask to use the loo first wherever he went so he could suss out the place , rifle through medicine cupboards for medication so he could use the knowledge to give readings 🤷
They literally caught him faking.
Derek acorah was a lying scum bag, who pretended he could talk to ghosts , he cheated grieving people out of their money
I too always watched Most Haunted, right from the start and watched in awe. I believed it all. My husband used to say...your not watching that crap, are you , It’s all fake! Sorry hubby you were right from the start. Like you Beardo I got a little suspicious of it all in the later shows. I can’t believe all these people pay to go and see them. Madness! Thanks for this Beardo. 👍
@@Sara-f 👍😄
I remember watching this show when I was maybe 11-12 and slowly becoming more skeptical with each episode from just how silly some of their "evidence" was
I fully agree with you about the way they treated Derek. It really was disgusting and they were such hypocrites. I liked Derek as a person, he seemed to be a very nice man and I’m sad that he has passed away so young. Karl and Stu (who is Yvette’s cousin I think) are so fake that I cannot watch them together anymore, they get on my nerves.
Stuart Torvil walking down a corridor and in the backgrownd "ello" was that a ghost..no it was Stu
Agree
Well derek was ripping people off for years in town ,filling them with lies so he was a greedy man so he wasn’t a nice man . He was good entertainment but it was their show people fire people all the time
Weren't they taken to court in the early seasons for faking evidence? They got away with it by claiming that it was for entertainment and not a genuine paranormal investigation show.
Total rubbish. There were complaints to the broadcasting regulator OFCOM and they found no evidence of misleading practices. In fact they (MH) had to insert a disclaimer at the beginning of their show at the insistance of OFCOM which Most Haunted fought against, it was not put there by MH. There was never a court case. Regardless of which side of the argument you're on some actual facts and evidence would be good, rather than the some old rumours, allegations and nonsense.
I remember being asked to join a paranormal team just as i started investigating the paranormal and called to a meeting of all the members. Things were going great until i started making fun of Yvette Fielding screaming and other things about Most Haunted. For some reason this didnt go down well because little did i know that this team had some connection with Most Haunted Expierance. Well dispite that i was offered a contract to sign and took it home to stew on it for a while. Then i thought to myself , i have as much if not more equipment than this team and will still have to pay a fee for the upkeep of their equipments, insurance, uniforms and restrictions on what i could do personally on youtube, so i rang them up and give them a big no no. I teamed up with a friend interested in the paranormal but never investigated and had no infulance rubbed off from tv shows. Maybe we were not exciting but we wanted the truth, even if it, was at times, boring as heck. Then my health took a bit of a turn and started focusing on one thing and that was audio and itc and trying out new things, not for youtube as such but because its interesting. I rarely watch the tv shows because i cant just sit and watch without pointing out huge holes in what some of these people do and maybe there is some bit of entertaining value in it but i dont take these shows very serous. Northern Irelands Greatests Haunts is a show i did like produced by Andy Mathews, it was back in a time when the paranormal was abit better than the clout chasing generation of today.
i too loved most haunted in the day, there was another bit at the end of the 30 east drive live episode, i think, where Stuart smashes his head through a window. Great video, i know there was a lot to cover with this one, but disappointed that you missed the one where Karl and Stuart faked an apparition, it's essentially an overlay of Stuart walking up a corridor on a locked camera, it's hilarious. Love your work. x :)
Oh that's coming
I saw the clip of Yvette kicking, I think it was, a cupboard. She kicks it and says the usual 'Did you hear that'? I also saw the clip of Carl being pulled at the top of the stairs by a rope around his waist, (didn't realise it was East Drive) in the final edit of the episode, he was 'pulled' by a ghost. I used to be a fan of Most Haunted in it's day and was gutted when I realised they fake stuff. We know now that paranormal doesn't happen on command, don't we :)
absolutely
Carl was also seen placing a knife onto a pillow.
Yes ,they have a specific crowd of middle aged women who believe it all😂
I loved Most Haunted and looking back it was good entertainment but I once was that sucker who believed. Thanks for the video
this unlocked some memories for me 😂😂😂 i forgot about this show! when the guy throws the rock took me out. it’s like me trying to throw a toy to distract my dog from a cat turd
I used to work for R. F in one of his historical businesses . And the most haunted team came to film there and can confirm from fellow colleagues that Y is a really horrible person who would try and change anything old and historical if it didn’t work for her filming. Most of us staff weren’t allowed near the building during the crew setting up/filming but we were told of so much. The history of the small place was already on the walls, so Derek could basically read up as he awaits his cue. Watch if possible ‘Derby Heritage Centre’ episode Makes me laugh when Y gets scared of the coffee machine or water heater switching on (on automatic timer) in the tea room.
I was around them for a while and I learned how fake and nasty they were, they are charging people a lot of money to go on a most haunted experience.
I always liked Richard Felix on the early seasons of the show. He came across well.
It was Victoria Lysaght who freaked out because the coffee machine suddenly came on, tho Rick Fielding (Yvette’s brother) was present in that vigil too.
@@susi-emilyrichards a brilliant and sincere bloke, he still livestreams on facebook occasionally, and has launched his own youtube channel with a lot of his old haunted county dvd's, as well as new videos hes working on
@@stealth3764it’s not a lot of money lol, it’s literally about fifty quid and you get to be one of less than twenty people in a historically haunted building that doesn’t usually allow visiting after dark. Yvette and Karl rarely go and the staff who run the events aren’t allowed to join in or influence and of the investigating, they’re just there to lead a tour and supervise.
I have never seen this show. Thank you for explaining the history of it. British Ghost Adventures Great debunks!
at one point it was the biggest show on British tv
😂 I was searching through the comments to see if anyone else thought it was the British version of Ghost Adventures!!
Most Haunted was something i would watch growing up late Friday night... that episode where Karl was alone in the brewery and a keg rolled down to where he was scared the shit out of me. But as time moved on... the evidence was getting too wack... poltergeist would happen right outside of camera frame so we can't confirm how it was thrown or the fact that almost every ghost answers the team with clear taps for answers. I appreciate CZcamsrs like the Paranormal Nightmare TV brothers and hope they don't end up being the same!
Derek got binned because he became the main attraction and Yvette didn't like it at all.....Still whimsical entertainment when you're pissed though .For it's sheer naff value I STILL love it.....oh I was briefly in a Ruthin episode in 2007 with a lovely shot of my late grandad x
i think all these ghost hunters start off with good intentions but lack of paranormal activity or anything substantial to make good viewing, the tv producers pressure gets too much and then fakery starts in an attempt to prevent the series being cancelled and said stars losing thier jobs/livelihood. Problem with this is that 1. The ghost hunters reputation is tarnished beyond repair, and if any real paranormal activity occurs its immediately dismissed as fake , therefore destroying it for any real and dedicated ghost hunters who are genuinly trying to find any proof at all that ghosts exist. Great video beardo m8ty keep em coming fella.
This show at one point in the early 00s was getting a million viewers per episode, which is absolutely unheard of for a Paranormal Investigation TV show. Hence the inclination to start faking things was always going to be the natural progression.
This is one of those videos I was really interested to see your take on it. As I met the Most Haunted crew back in the day (Yvette, Karl and Derek) and they were absolutely lovely people. However I was never fully convinced by a lot of it and knew it was probably faked. However I really enjoyed the production and history of each location, used to love Richard Felix rundown of history of each location as he seemed genuinely excited by it. The first few series of Most Haunted will always hold a special place in my heart as it was the only thing on tv paranormal related since strange but true and I loved it. This was a fair and balanced debunk as always and where-as I will always have love for MH, everything you’ve stated here is true. Great work as always mate ❤
If there’s one thing I genuinely enjoy about paranormal shows, it’s learning the history about a place. Fake shows or not.
I have a direct story which people may find very interesting. I worked with Fred when he owned Caesars Nightclub in Streatham. This was when he first started working with Most Haunted (Indeed the club was actually featured as being haunted - It wasn't). We asked him one day how the ''mediums'' knew about the locations and he laughed and disappeared. When he returned he put a few sheets of paper on the table in front of us. It was show notes that were sent out to everyone. A schedule of sorts, something to keep the shows on time with who would be where and when. Nothing unusual for a TV show until you realise that the name and location was clearly printed on top of the paper. Everyone on the show received this including the ''mediums''.
Fred was also financially invested in the show so if you ever wanted a reason why he did things, there it is. The nightclub was failing at the time and he was obviously looking for alternative investments.
Good observation, truthfulness and honourablity my Welsh brother.
I must admit that back in the early days, say from 2002 to 2009\10 i was a fan of Most haunted so to say. Yes, Keiran O'Keefe was a legitimate parapsychologist and he had a healthy air of scepticism about him which obviously didn't 'fit in' with the Most Haunted team's manipulative ways. When O'Keefe left the show for some reason, the show itself went a little flat as far as I'm concerned. I'm not saying that all of Most Haunted is Fake, but it does make you question everything you might see or hear on the radio and TV as potentially Fake!
Best wishes from Swansea...
I've not watched this vid yet, but I used to knock about with Yvette on Bramhall Park when we were teens. I honestly think, knowing what I do of Yvette, that she started this show with good intent. I don't think it ended that way! I think it became a big scam for views.
Right, I'll watch your vid now 😊
I used to work with a guy that his wife went to school with. He said she was a really nice person until she realised money was good. Check out how much she sold her fake show for.
@@benjibodhranboyI can imagine that with Yvette. She was really lovely, but we were teens. Some people change when big money is involved, sadly.
Well done , about time someone showed them for the fakers they are. They have dumped on and bullied so many people through that "fame". I stopped watching, but only after spending ages trying to spot the cheating lol. Fred batts shoes used to do my head in lol, stomping around ...and the demon summonings 😂😂😂😂😂
I've tried to find a clip of Karl and Stuart seeing the ghost on the stairs during one of their investigations, it was a clip which had a lot of people wowed by the fact that they had seen a ghost. Karl puts his camera onto a table facing the stairs, and for some inexplicable reason then proceeds to tap the lense with his finger two or three times. The ghost is mentioned, and the picture is then shown of the ghost walking up the stairs. The only problem is, the "ghost" is wearing Stuarts baggy jacket, and walks like him, I think you get the picture. The shot was debunked by Chris Halton (I believe it was)
Brilliant work, Beardo!!! I must admit, I was taken in by this rubbish at the time in the mid-2000s. I even wasted money on some of their DVDs!!! More fool me!
Stuart is Yvettes cousin if memory serves. Her brother, Rick, was a camera operator at the start
Yeah Yvette's first cousin I think. He lost his hair due to some paranormal event apparently.

I started watching your videos after you did my haunted hotel debunking with PSI and you are now right up there as one of my favourite youtubers. I am the same as you, i firmly believe that there are paranormal things that happen, but these are rare and most things can be debunked. I know there are unfortunately alot of fakers to be aware of and your videos are an education of how to spot how some of these are done. Keep up the good work Beardo 👍

It's embarrassing now to think I watched it and enjoyed it 😱
Anybody remember the Wentworth Woodhouse "investigation" where they claimed a ghost walking up the steps, when it was Beattie all along. These guys were so fake they were laughable. They were that bad they make Smeg Pappy, the Tit, TP and Laundry and Bin look good. Your best work yet Beardo. Your not the only one Beardo, I used to think Most Haunted was real.
We know they are fakers, but it doesn't stop it from being an entertaining show. I liked Derek Acorah too. Saw him live once and he was very entertaining. But I'm a skeptic. An open-minded one, yes, but still a skeptic. I didn't like how they outed Derek though. He was obviously expected to make stuff up to make the show appear more interesting, and then when he does it, they humiliate him. It just wasn't a very nice way to go about getting him off the show.
THE INFAMOUS MARY CLIP 😂😂😂 I think about it often but never knew the context 😭💀
Was looking for this😂! Love watching the ghostly vids....so funny to see. New subscriber here from the too down to earth Netherlands 😊
Just found your Channel , love it , love the way you take these apart, i always knew these are fake , they are the worst actors .
Hey Beardo… very interesting things about MH! Jason was in the first series of MH as the parapsychologist then Phil Whyman up until series 4, he left for various reasons !! Stuart Torevell , camera man is Yvette’s cousin who was very good at faking things with Karl Beattie, Fred Batt actually met them when they investigated the nightclub he owned, the infamous nightclub Caesar’s where Derek was “possessed by an evil spirit” then Fred turned into a demonologist from nightclub owner, almost as crazy as Derek going from professional footballer to Medium 🤔 I saw Derek live, I won’t speak ill of the dead here however I have a story that probably won’t shock you given the levels these people stoop to, let’s just say any faith I had in him was destroyed in his live show due to something that happened to me personally… I’ll park that there for now. I have much more!!
Glad you’ve covered this! Much love to you and Mrs Geek 💕
Fred has had an interest in Demonology since childhood - it was not to fit in with the show! He too has been treated badly by Yvette and Karl.
Lisa, you tease! I wanted to hear the story. You got me all curious now.
@@Hayotowin I completely forgot about this … it’s been a long few weeks 😂 … are you in Discord ? If so I’ll pop my experience in there ! 😊
@@fakery007 sorry I’ve only my just seen this for some reason 🤦🏻♀️ I didn’t know Fred had been treated badly, I do know they wanted Derek out as their show had become the Derek accorah show and they weren’t happy about it! But living tv wouldn’t remove him because of his popularity with the viewers.
I was a big fan of Most Haunted when I was younger and I remember being gutted to find out it was all fake, like I had been conned. Absolutely cannot stand Yvette and Stu,they annoy the hell out of me. The Halloween special keeps popping up as a suggested watch but i've pressed the not interested button...so sick of these fake investigators...this was a great watch Beardo, very funny :D x
You are the best 😂😂😂. Hate faked videos!! Thanks for your amazing ❤
To be fair, they did do an atmospheric Halloween live from Owd Demdikes cottage on Pendle Hill. When Acorah, I think it was, had his spirit guide talking through him and saying that Owd Demdikes had gathered her coven together, and were broomstickin' it down mob handed for a tussle, it got a bit frisky👻!
I remember that 😃😃😃
@@Witchywop Wasn't it that one where the table levitated? I'm sure it was. That bit sh*t me up, to be fair. The whole episode was pretty good imo...fake or not👍
@@JonPaul1953 I think so. I pooed my pants 😃. Was fun when I believed in it all
There is a Saturday night live skit about them years ago. It's hysterical. 😅
Hi Beardo, just found your debunking vids, love em. Will look forward to seeing them all. 😘
I actually visited a location on a paid ghost tour, and was told be the location caretaker that when Most Haunted did their show, they spent a lot of time rigging the building to show paranormal activity.
He laughed at how crap and fake the show was.
I'm from the States and never knew what this show was, but I've heard the name Most Haunted many times. Sounds like it was a lot of fun back in the day. That dude throwing a pebble is just hilarious. If these guys helped inspire The Ouija Brothers, then I am glad they did their thing.
Even if David was fake you have to admit that when David was on it was the best part of the sho
In one program, a young boy had allegedly been walled up to die with a particularly nasty man. Derek picked up on the boy saying 'I don't want him in here with me!' !! Seems the boy didn't want to get out but stay in there alone. Why wasn't the boy saying 'Get me out, I've done nothing wrong, I am just a poor, misunderstood child with my whole life ahead of me!'?
I'm a new sub and wish I knew about your channel. I love your no BS attitude and how you are respectful but brutally honest. Keep doing what you do!!
Thanks for subbing!
In one of their more recent live shows they spent ages standing around listening to a little scratching sound in the floor which was identical to the sound mice were making in my house at the same time.
Derek Acorah possessed by Dick Turpin's missus, Mary...."Mary loves Dick, Mary loves Dick"
Gay mate I'm watching episode with...."So do I sweetheart, but you wouldn't catch me on Hampstead fuckin' Heath lookin' for it at midnight"
I pissed...I tell ya, I pissed.
hahahahahahahahahahaha
😂😂😂😂😂
@@beardogetsscaredI was living with him and his partner, at the time...divorce, eh? Anyhoo we always used to watch The Bill, and Most Haunted, together.
Phones off, doors locked, curtains drawn, lights off, pj's and dressing gowns on, ice cold lager, cheese n' biscuits, joints rolled.
He was a cynic in a huge purple velvet dressing gown. I swear down, after he uttered those immortal words, he stood up, swirled his dressing gown and sashayed outta the room like Miss Scarlet in Gone With The Wind....classic!
@@JonPaul1953He sounds absolutely awesome!
@@DruidessOfMidian He is legendary!
What a debunk 😊I have always known they faked this but my mum watched them for years and still won’t accept it 🤦🏻♀️🫣🤣 forwarded this video 🤣🤭
there was a live where, I believe it was transivania at halloween, where yvette and team, were not to know where they were going etc, yet yvette still had done pre recorded voice overs for it
I adored Most Haunted 😞
Then reality kicked in 😂
I believe they had good intentions to start with, then the pressure to come up with the goods kicked in
I've loved season 10. They throw things in every episode, which makes it hilarious to watch 😅 for me, it's pure entertainment even though they are, and always have been faking everything. Also, i love your beard, hair and presence.....i will subscribe 😊
Beardo, just your narration is all that I look forward to the name-calling the laughter the bullshit that they try to pull on us. Keep it up bud keep it up. We love you.🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Yvette should’ve stuck to Blue Peter, people still believe that what they did was real though 🤣🙄 the only real thing about them and what they did was that it was utter crap, I’m sure they still do tours and talks though, which is mind boggling if you ask me. If Yvette ever sees this comment I’d like to say a big well done for all the long line of fakers you and your husbands show produced, you must both be so proud 😂
hahahahahahahahahahahahha
Find them in sandbach.
Hey Beardo, I watched this when it was massively popular, and I knew from word go, it wasn't real, but was good entertainment.
I to watched it back then, seen now in its true light, bloody hilarious , thanks Beardo 😂
need to change my wet underpants through laughing too much. Thanks, it's a real classic!
Unpopular opinion but I really like the Most Haunted channel now that it's on You Tube. Also regularly listen to her podcasts. She is just letting other people tell their own stories and it's up to people to make up their own minds. Kieran O Keefe is amazing - we've often said that if Lee was legit, he would have folk like him at his house. Derek Acorah, god rest him, is old news.
I still watch their shows on CZcams. Caught a new one just the other day. I enjoy it. I know it's faked. I think most paranormal stuff is faked. But it is entertaining. Especially when Stuart fake-falls down stairs!
Still watching it too. With an open mind and knowledge of how these SHOWS work
Stupid Kieran was the bastard who got rid of Derek Acorah. Hated him for that.
@@susi-emily I cant watch it anymore since they got that stupid Demonoligist on, always wanting to summon the devil and worship him HOW horrible can you be.
I did see a clip where Derek says Mary loves Dick and when the cameras "stop" rolling, Yvette starts laughing saying that was great what he did or something like that.
Yes!!! I saw that, too!!
Gotta be my favourite episode you’ve ever done beardo. Loved Derek, the one when he got in contact with the Dog was brilliant… what did he say asks Evette? Woff…. Wofff… Woff says Derek 😂😂
well done Beardo.... 10k whoop whoop ... and still growing (like the beard lol) x
Thanks so much!!
I still love Most Haunted. It's very entertaining for me 😂
I'm pretty sure Yvette tried to stifle a laugh when Derek was channelling "Mary loves Dick"! There used to be a clip on CZcams with her included in the shot, but it's been a while since I searched for MH. Keiran O'Keef was so over it, I couldn't work out if he was being shady and passive aggressive, or if he was smugly cashing his cheques from the easiest gig in showbiz!
@@Sara-f Hey 👋🏻 😁 hope your day is groovy!
Thing is KoK outted the entire show as fake in the daily mirror yet still appeared on it for a while after
@@Amy-and-Ozzy Oh, really? I live under a rock so it shouldn't surprise me 🤪 I seem to remember a guy called Felix (Historian?) who felt aggrieved by the team. Or left under a cloud? I don't know why, though. There was a female Historian after that, Cheryl? She loved getting into character with the period costumes but not as comfortable as herself in front of a camera. Did Kieran ever say why he went back? Edit - scrap that question, I read your message wrong!
@@PinkiesBrokenWheelchair Actually Richard Felix did leave because he was fed up with the fakery
@@Amy-and-Ozzy That's it! Richard Felix! Is that why he left? Wtf.
One of the few shows both I and my husband enjoyed and watched. I was more enthusiastic than he was, being a believer. One of the things we both agreed to, after Derek got outed by O'Keeffe, was Derek MADE that show. We loved the shenanigans, we loved how Derek brought the history alive. We saw the fakery of the cast, Y and K being the worst. I watched the show for Derek and quit watching when he was gone. The nostalgia is strong with this one. RIP Derek, you took the high road and took us with you. Thank you.
Another great video Beardo, and a much needed one, its surprising how many people that still believe in Most Haunted.
They are indeed fake, we hope that more debunkers will now follow your lead and show the world just how fake they are.
Much love as always to your good self and Mrs. Geek.
This made me a bit sad and feel a bit stupid as they (before you) were the only channel I subscribed to as a paid member. Although I knew Derek was a faker I did believe the rest of it and I thought that I was fairly intelligent 😢. Shows that everyone has their vulnerabilities. Thank you Beardo for setting me straight. X
😍
i beleived them until i started going out and investigating
