I lived in Colne most of my life (family still there ) and could also see Pendle hill from the door step. Climbed it many a time in my youth and also various school projects in history on the witch trials.
Not ashamed to admit it this show had me fooled for a few years when it first aired, I'm pretty sure a fair few of the fake paranormal channels used to watch this programme religiously to get ideas of how to fake paranormal activity. It's actually pretty cringe to watch after all these years knowing what i know now that i didn't know back then. Great video as usual Beardo
There's no Shame in it. They were the first to do it in this format and even the people screaming how bad it was probably beleived them in the early days. I don't know a paranormal team that hasn't said at some point most haunted were an influence originally.

A very good friend of mine went to a Most Haunted Event at Chillingham Castle a few months ago. She said that it was all clearly very staged. Carl got a bit shirty and evasive when questioned. In one room there was tapping upstairs where 'nobody was allowed to go'. My friend hung back and waited and sure enough 10mins later one of their crew came down the staircase and looked guilty as f when he saw her waiting. She told him that he was a faker like Carl and he shot off. Shortly afterwards, they were told that Carl and his crew had to leave early and they had gone. Such a pity they just don't do it honestly as they certainly set this all off. I used to love watching them until I started to realise that they were adding stuff in. And don't get me started on Mary loves Dick Acorah. 😂
In the US, this show aired on Friday nights and my son and I always looked forward to watching it. Then there was an episode where she insisted the ghost spat on her. We both started laughing and couldn't stop. (it was an air freshener spraying). Now that I'm older it just makes me want to shake my head that they are still at it. 😂

The treatment of what they did to Derek Acorea was bad, since he did what was asked of him and one of the reasons Richard Felix left. Thank you so much for covering MH. They are the ones who duped me, I was a subscriber to their app. $90 a year. The second year they barely posted anything! Just strung us along. All cos the TV networks wanted their old stuff edited for them. It’s about the money. Fk the fans who are paying them money when they were forgotten. I’ve since debunked a video of theirs for myself 😎 they were triggering an EMF with their radio, you could actually HEAR them press the button EVERY time they asked a question!! It’s on one of their newer videos too. I was fuming!! I learned how emfs were triggered from you. Thanks for the knowledge and for me to not financially support people who take advantage and lie in a financial crisis! I’m from Australia and had no idea of their reputation.
I used to be an avid watcher of most Haunted, a long time ago ! I started to notice a lot of bs, so I tested it out for myself on the live broadcasts they used to do. I must have texted in 10/15 times on different shows, saying I'd seen headless people walking past various static cameras they had and a load of other bollox that didn't happen. They read the lot out on air and even had some of their experts agree with me and say they'd seen/felt the same 😄
That is so funny, you little shits! 😂😂😂 they didn’t have anything like that in the States where you could interact with a live show, probably cause the producers would know they’d be constantly fk’d with. I think the general worldview is that British people are super polite and honest, so your opinions and comments were taken seriously…… but it’s quite the obvious, isn’t it? I remember that ghost watch in the 90's. I was 16/17, never had TV growing up and didn't know it was faked. I stayed with my boyfriend the night it went live and it was a given that Michael Parkinson added legitimacy. 'Mr Pipes', the restless soul in one of the homes featured, scared the living $h!te out of me and I had nightmares for weeks. Not even the hoohah afterwards could pacify my logical mind because it was so similar to my own childhood experiences that got ignored ~ I had to pray harder, better, more often and believe I could be saved from this torment. Because the devil was tricking me and I let him in. Apparently. Sound advice for an adult but not much help for a 3 year old! I don't know where I'm going with this so I'll stop abruptly. I totally agree MH coverage of pendal was gross, especially the part where they implied the witch's gave her actual inspiration for her new book. I find it gross how folk like MH exploit the innocent men and women who died at pendal Edit: I didn't word it right she literally implied the witch came to her and helped her write the book.

I could have told you this years ago. A friend of mine worked on the show. He walked after she lost her shit with a medium. She was screaming like a banshee at him make shit happen and if it doesn’t make it up. She’s horrible!
I remember resident sceptic Dr. Ciaran O'Keefe calling them out on the toe tapping stuff and Yvette Fielding had a practical meltdown on camera, I don't recall how many more shows O'Keefe did after that but it wasn't many if indeed any.
It would have been one of the last few episodes that aired on TV that's all I can say. I have been through their YT channel but they have not uploaded any episodes featuring Dr. Ciaran O'Keefe and I doubt they ever will In fact I don't know if Yvette and Karl still own the rights to those TV episodes. The episode in question may very well be somewhere on YT, but without being able to remember where the episode was from, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack I'll admit that saying v Yvette had a meltdown was perhaps an exaggeration but she was very angry with him actually saying that he was being "ridiculous" when he dared to suggest that the tapping noises were being caused by people's toes..@@ialicat9074
The whole door falling thing with Stuart I noticed when the episode aired, he nudged the door with his foot, you can just see briefly his leg bend and his foot, which granted is out of shot, is behind the door. Being a nurse and knowing anatomy I think I can conclusively say at the end of the leg in view is a foot in the direction of the base of the door. Watch closely around 20:54, see how his knee is bent back and how close his foot is to the door. Just my opinion and something I noticed just from watching and rewatching the angles and shadows and movement. Things I learned from you beardo! 🤷🏻♀️🇨🇦

My great-great-great-great-great (can't remember exactly how many "greats") grandmother, Susannah Martin, was one of the 14 women who were killed during the Salem Witch Trials. I'm not going to lie and say that I'm personally offended by people who make fake videos on witches.... but if I were to make videos, I would make damn sure to be historically accurate and try like hell to make my fake claims line up with historical records.... so at least the debunkers couldn't say I was inaccurate..... I’m so glad you’ve done this video. In my eyes it’s exactly the proof I needed. I was convinced Karl was doing something with his foot but I didn’t know what and I have told everyone. Yvette I don’t believe does it. I’ve been on loads of investigations with them that when I got told about the tapping by an excited member of the public, I was rolling my eyes, and once I said ‘I’ll bet you were with Karl’ and sure enough she was!!! It’s quite amazing that even after ppl who worked on the show and many others called them out for fakery that they still are at it. We all believed them 💯. It lead to us all wanting real answers, and so our debunkers were born. Ryan, kudos to you for discovering this on your own. So grateful that your dad shared it with us. Their children speak to the close, healthy relationship the parents have with their children. So refreshing! What is unendingly sad to me is that MH continues to perpetuate the nightmare of what was such a horrible time for the prosecution of women.
Most Haunted, should be renamed Most Pathetic, I hate these clowns, always have. Unfortunately alot of grimm horrendous stuff happened to the men, women and children accused of witchcraft during the witchcraft trails. Pendle Hill is a beautiful location I was fortunate to visit the area a few years ago and would recommend people visiting it and Lancaster Castle which housed the Pendle Witches during the trails and was used as a jail from 1955 to 2011 x
I’ve not been to Pendle since I was a wee kid . Is that witch shop still there? I remember being terrified and screaming crying at some creepy old witch figure they had outside lol 😂

And that’s how I became a weirdo (always been one, but now it’s official 😂). Watching all you guys is way more fun than watching the ‘investigators’. Even Derek and then I became utterly disillusioned by the whole thing and realised with many others it was all fake. At the time they were the only people able to get true intelligent responses from the world of ghosts!!! Then they got ridiculous. You’re right they’re disgusting especially when it comes to changing history to suit their scary narrative, I look now and think how did I ever fall for this BS. We used to love watching this show. We'd get the snacks and drinks, get blankets for the sofa, it was a whole event in our household. Even though we took it all with a pinch of salt. As a Pendle native it amazes me that Pendle hill is actually such a well known historical site, it just seems like our little story, so strange to me. Been up Pendle plenty of times, it’s a lovely walk.
Was waiting for a debunk on this, thank you. Went on a MH investigation last Oct but their cheap version so none of the team were there just their employees/volunteers. Well all I can say is some of the staff think they are Yvette (did you hear that?) and try to convince on the back of the programme that something paranormal is happening, it wasn't. We were a family of 4 on this jaunt with a friend and had our own EMF meters and Ouija board - did we get anything, well that's not for here, but I think we may have upset the leaders as our kit was better than theirs (lol).
With a bit of reverse image search and Google research suggests the house Yvette is outside for her intro is Hangman's Farm, a "tourist attraction" 5 miles from Pendle Hill. Yvette is flogging "Most Haunted experiences" in there, so she's pretending it's Pendle Hill just to attract bookings for her shabby grift.
I also loved that episode with Quija Brothers❤, I seen it a couple of times. The children are so much braver than me, and I am over 50😂😂. I never thought about that Most Haunted did the same with the knocking. I didn’t believe in it but didn’t know how it was done. I didn’t think about it before now when you said it. Now it’s obvious 😂 I watched 1 episode of their new content, but it wasn’t for me anymore. I used to love it before, but with the years it got so bad with the mediums I stopped watching. It was fake from day one but it was entertaining to watch, they had so many slip ups in episodes dating back years(forums full of debunks for at least a decade or so), I also found it funny how no matter who "possessed" derik they somehow knew modern day english.....
They put in their video that it is definitely ‘real’ blatant lies. I’d probably watch it for entertainment, but when they’re trying to convince thousands of people what they’re saying and experiencing is true(even their little disclaimer at the beginning claims it’s not fake) …..it just doesn’t sit right. Sion sold them polystyrene balls years ago. Whoever they got to order them admitted to him they wanted to throw them in the background of footage to look like orbs. That’s when I started doubting.

I always liked most haunted growing up and I used to believe them for a long time till I became a teenager, figured out how ridiculous they were,I still like to watch the old ones sometimes not for paranormal stuff just reminiscing about the good old days.

I tried watching Most Haunted for the first time starting from the first episode of the first season a few weeks ago and I really have to say that I can’t fathom how this show manages to stay on air. It’s a complete mystery to me.
The best thing in Most Haunted was Ciaran O'Keeffe's takedown of Derek Acorah, that was brilliant. Derek's possession freakouts when he was on the show were also pretty entertaining to watch.
Read a book called Will Storr vs the supernatural. One chapter Will got himself onto Most Haunted. He managed to get hold of a script which times when Derek was supposed to become possessed. Whether he was always fake or not he was told to fake the possessions.
Another direct hit for Beardo! Bang on target. M H have had it coming for years. Thank the Lord for this stake through its heart. Perhaps its cast can now turn their skills to a gardening podcast or an antiques half-hour on QVC. Perhaps 'Mr. Pebbles' could do some pebble-dashing! Hi Beardo. I've been watching your video's for a while now - but I'm still very new to your channel - and am loving it. BUT - and I know you don't mind people telling you what they think - I absolutely love MH and always have! I'm not a stupid person, and I know that these programmes have to put in some sort of activity or us watchers would get very bored - but like I've mentioned to you before (I think) - why is it always Karl and Stuart that seem to get mountains of things happening to them? Even though I truly love all of these programmes I always watch them with tongue in cheek. You've documented Ghost Theory, which I love, also Haunted Finders - a firm favourite of mine - and even though you have debunked a lot of the 'stuff' on their video's I'm still going to be an avid watcher as I truly love them! As I will with your video's - I love your enthusiasm! The one thing with this debunk of MH was were you were telling us about these ladies being innocent at Pendle Hill. That's just not nice for the MH team to come in and have a go about them. Not acceptable. So thank you Beardo - I love your channel! BTW - might be me, but your video was 'back to front' - anything with words were the wrong way round. I absolutely love the history of the Pendle witch trials. There's a group on Facebook that are offering ghost walks later in the year. I've never been on one before, so not sure what to expect, but in my opinion due to my interest in the history I think it could potentially be a fun experience

Thank you so much for covering MH. They are the ones who duped me, I was a subscriber to their app. $90 a year. The second year they barely posted anything! Just strung us along. All cos the TV networks wanted their old stuff edited for them. It’s about the money. Fk the fans who are paying them money when they were forgotten. It was a yearly subscription so I was stuck with it. I’ve since debunked a video of theirs for myself 😎 they were triggering an EMF with their radio, you could actually HEAR them press the button EVERY time they asked a question!! It’s on one of their newer videos too. I was fuming!! I learned how emfs were triggered from you. Thanks for the knowledge and for me to not financially support people who take advantage and lie in a financial crisis! I’m from Australia and had no idea of their reputation.
I used to be an avid watcher of most Haunted, a long time ago ! I started to notice a lot of bs, so I tested it out for myself on the live broadcasts they used to do.
I must have texted in 10/15 times on different shows, saying I'd seen headless people walking past various static cameras they had and a load of other bollox that didn't happen.
They read the lot out on air and even had some of their experts agree with me and say they'd seen/felt the same 😄

I remember that ghost watch in the 90's. I was 16/17, never had TV growing up and didn't know it was faked. I stayed with my boyfriend the night it went live and it was a given that Michael Parkinson added legitimacy. 'Mr Pipes', the restless soul in one of the homes featured, scared the living $h!te out of me and I had nightmares for weeks. Not even the hoohah afterwards could pacify my logical mind because it was so similar to my own childhood experiences that got ignored ~ I had to pray harder, better, more often and believe I could be saved from this torment. Because the devil was tricking me and I let him in. Apparently. Sound advice for an adult but not much help for a 3 year old! I don't know where I'm going with this so I'll stop abruptly. I could have told you this years ago. A friend of mine worked on the show. He walked after she lost her shit with a medium. She was screaming like a banshee at him make shit happen and if it doesn’t make it up. She’s horrible!
I remember resident sceptic Dr. Ciaran O'Keefe calling them out on the toe tapping stuff and Yvette Fielding had a practical meltdown on camera, I don't recall how many more shows O'Keefe did after that but it wasn't many if indeed any.

It would have been one of the last few episodes that aired on TV that's all I can say. I have been through their YT channel but they have not uploaded any episodes featuring Dr. Ciaran O'Keefe and I doubt they ever will In fact I don't know if Yvette and Karl still own the rights to those TV episodes. The episode in question may very well be somewhere on YT, but without being able to remember where the episode was from, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack

The whole door falling thing with Stuart I noticed when the episode aired, he nudged the door with his foot, you can just see briefly his leg bend and his foot, which granted is out of shot, is behind the door. Being a nurse and knowing anatomy I think I can conclusively say at the end of the leg in view is a foot in the direction of the base of the door.
Watch closely around 20:54, see how his knee is bent back and how close his foot is to the door.

I'm not going to lie and say that I'm personally offended by people who make fake videos on witches.... but if I were to make videos, I would make damn sure to be historically accurate and try like hell to make my fake claims line up with historical records.... so at least the debunkers couldn't say I was inaccurate..... I’m so glad you’ve done this video. In my eyes it’s exactly the proof I needed. I was convinced Karl was doing something with his foot but I didn’t know what and I have told everyone. Yvette I don’t believe does it. I’ve been on loads of investigations with them that when I got told about the tapping by an excited member of the public, I was rolling my eyes, and once I said ‘I’ll bet you were with Karl’ and sure enough she was!!! He’s nice to your face but will do anything to keep his reputation. Thank you for this video… can we please blow this up and make it massive.

The thing I remember most about the first visit to Pendle Hill was Derek Accorah being "possessed" by a witch. Funniest thing I had ever seen.
I always thought Derek was less possessed, more “took a gamble on the dodgy petrol station sushi and lost.”

Unfortunately alot of grimm horrendous stuff happened to the men, women and children accused of witchcraft during the witchcraft trails. Pendle Hill is a beautiful location I was fortunate to visit the area a few years ago and would recommend people visiting it and Lancaster Castle which housed the Pendle Witches during the trails and was used as a jail from 1955 to 2011 x

I can’t believe it was on Helloween that I found your channel Beardo. I was looking for something, anything, scary to watch because tv was really lame. I found most Haunted’s channel & figured I’d watch for a laugh & old times sake. My son then said I should look at the debunks of MH. And that’s how I became a weirdo (always been one, but now it’s official 😂).

Hey Beardo and Mrs Geek. I was so invested in MH back in the day, absolutely loved it!! Even Derek and then I became utterly disillusioned by the whole thing and realised with many others it was all fake. At the time they were the only people able to get true intelligent responses from the world of ghosts!!! Then they got ridiculous.

We used to love watching this show. We'd get the snacks and drinks, get blankets for the sofa, it was a whole event in our household. Even though we took it all with a pinch of salt. As a Pendle native it amazes me that Pendle hill is actually such a well known historical site, it just seems like our little story, so strange to me. Been up Pendle plenty of times, it’s a lovely walk.

Went on a MH investigation last Oct but their cheap version so none of the team were there just their employees/volunteers.
Well all I can say is some of the staff think they are Yvette (did you hear that?) and try to convince on the back of the programme that something paranormal is happening, it wasn't.
We were a family of 4 on this jaunt with a friend and had our own EMF meters and Ouija board - did we get anything, well that's not for here, but I think we may have upset the leaders as our kit was better than theirs (lol).

With a bit of reverse image search and Google research suggests the house Yvette is outside for her intro is Hangman's Farm, a "tourist attraction" 5 miles from Pendle Hill. Yvette is flogging "Most Haunted experiences" in there, so she's pretending it's Pendle Hill just to attract bookings for her shabby grift.

Now it’s obvious 😂 I watched 1 episode of their new content, but it wasn’t for me anymore. I used to love it before, but with the years it got so bad with the mediums I stopped watching. Love these debunks! Ghost Watch traumatised me as a child, it literally sparked my fascination with the paranormal even after learning it was fake 😂
It was fake from day one but it was entertaining to watch, they had so many slip ups in episodes dating back years(forums full of debunks for at least a decade or so), I also found it funny how no matter who "possessed" derik they somehow knew modern day english.....
They put in their video that it is definitely ‘real’ blatant lies. I’d probably watch it for entertainment, but when they’re trying to convince thousands of people what they’re saying and experiencing is true(even their little disclaimer at the beginning claims it’s not fake) …..it just doesn’t sit right. Just more people making money off the paranormal with lies 😞

I used to watch most haunted, mostly cuz they go to some really interesting places. Im a bit of an anglophile so i love seeing the sights.
I have been busy but I missed this I didn't miss this on the Ouija channel & I had complimented it big because what a great idea what a great idea, what a fantastic show! I told him he should do this all the time for the channel.
I tried watching Most Haunted for the first time starting from the first episode of the first season a few weeks ago and I really have to say that I can’t fathom how this show manages to stay on air. It’s a complete mystery to me.
Most haunted old videos was much better than the new ones, the kids acting way more calm compared to other investigators panic when something happens

The best thing in Most Haunted was Ciaran O'Keeffe's takedown of Derek Acorah, that was brilliant. Derek's possession freakouts when he was on the show were also pretty entertaining to watch.
Read a book called Will Storr vs the supernatural. One chapter Will got himself onto Most Haunted. He managed to get hold of a script which times when Derek was supposed to become possessed. Whether he was always fake or not he was told to fake the possessions.

Hi Beardo. I've been watching your video's for a while now - but I'm still very new to your channel - and am loving it. BUT - and I know you don't mind people telling you what they think - I absolutely love MH and always have! I'm not a stupid person, and I know that these programmes have to put in some sort of activity or us watchers would get very bored - but like I've mentioned to you before (I think) - why is it always Karl and Stuart that seem to get mountains of things happening to them? Even though I truly love all of these programmes I always watch them with tongue in cheek. You've documented Ghost Theory, which I love, also Haunted Finders - a firm favourite of mine - and even though you have debunked a lot of the 'stuff' on their video's I'm still going to be an avid watcher as I truly love them! As I will with your video's - I love your enthusiasm! The one thing with this debunk of MH was were you were telling us about these ladies being innocent at Pendle Hill. That's just not nice for the MH team to come in and have a go about them. Not acceptable. So thank you Beardo - I love your channel!

I absolutely love the history of the Pendle witch trials. There's a group on Facebook that are offering ghost walks later in the year. I've never been on one before, so not sure what to expect, but in my opinion due to my interest in the history I think it could potentially be a fun experience
