- Review of my Polar Express Lion Chief Set.
I made a flub and called the Hero Boy Billy by mistake. It was a simple mistake in the video. But we all know who the characters are, lol.
5 years later and I still enjoy watching this video ... This - ready to go - Polar Express train set, in particular, is great because it has the letters - POLAR EXPRESS - under the cars' windows just like in the movie.
My grandson has this one, he also has the 0 scale and this year I got him the HO scale all Polar Express. He's only 6 years old but has been obsessed with trains since he was 2. He has an extensive train display that spans my daughter's entire downstairs and people come by to see it, he absolutely loves trains! I'm impressed with your beautiful train display too. Awesome! Thanks for the review, anyone interested in this one, get it! Its a beautiful train set for the younger kids to start out with.
Well done video! I noticed the barn with Menards and Eau Claire, WI written on the roof. I’m from Chippewa Falls, WI and went to school at the UWEC. Just thought that was a cool little detail. I run G gauge under the Chrisrmas Tree but this set is on my wish list. Beatiful layout too!

I had the original, they had the observation car, disappearing hobo car, and regular passenger car. Although it didn't actually have smoke if I remember correctly.
My wife and I bought the Battery Operated Lionel Polar Express from Costco 4 years ago. Our two year old loves it! Christmas tree duty!
I got the polar express in I think 2010 2011, it was my Christmas present. I almost lost it to Hurricane Sandy that hit New York in 2012. My basement flooded with salt water and we lost a lot of old stuff. We brought it up right before the storm hit.
I have this set few years ago! Nice set by the way as always.
