- Hi guys! We're going to be exploring more of Switzerland hidden gems - this time we'll check out Murten / Morat - a bilingual medieval city in Fribourg. We'll guide your for all of the tourist attractions and what to do in the old town of Murten, taste wine at vineyards across Lake Murten, and even explore 2,000+ year old Roman ruins in Avenches! This is an easy day trip from Bern, and a perfect add on to an itinerary. Let's go!

We were in Switzerland (Engelberg and Lucerne) for 2 nights. Such a short visit, but made a great impression on my kids. Would love to come back for a longer visit.

In automme the weather is more rainy then in summer.But it can be days of sunshine and then you have a incredible clear view in the mountain. Please make sure that you have clothes for put on.The mornings and evenings can be i little colder.Or also,when you go up, in the mountains, there are always lower temperatures.
For me, (living in switzerland, near Gstaad) is automme one of my favorite time in the year. Now more to hot, not yet could.Some days wonderfull sunny other days a little rain.
